Here is another installment of "my thoughts".  And today I am talking about Ric Flair from a request of a friend of mine.  Ric Flair is known as the best wrestler that has ever set foot inside a wrestling ring.  Ric Flair is a sixteen time world heavyweight champion, the most that someone had ever got to.  Maybe the biggest achievement or the biggest thing people will remember in Ric Flair's historic career is his title wins.  Ric started in the promotion NWA and got most of his world heavyweight titles there.  He was part of the biggest stable called "The Four Horse Men".  He later went to WCW and was there through thick and thin.  He also won world titles there too.  He faced Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Sting, Dusty Rhodes, and many, many other great performers.  He faced almost every single star of his time.  He also ran the backstage side of WCW.  After WCW went to its ultimate demise, Ric came to WWE.  He brought his legacy there and preformed some more things to make his career bigger and better.  He became GM, fought for the best stable of the time that sparked two future stars of this business. He was in Evolution and partnered up with HHH, Randy Orton, and Batista.  He is called "the dirtiest player in the game" and is called the "nature boy".  My thoughts on this great superstar is this, simply he is one of the greatest stars in professional wrestling history.  He has certainly accomplished historic, monumental heights that maybe no one could recreate.  I said in another "My thoughts on" blog about HHH and that he can beat Ric flair's championship record.  He is at 12 and only needs four to tie it.  Certainly he will beat it at one time or another, so really many people will forget Flair even more.  Do I think that he is the best ever?  Well I think that he was very good, not just good but he is ONE of the best, but I have to say that he isn't the best ever.  Really the writers make stars win titles so the writers made Ric win the titles and set it as a record.  Ric is an astonishing athlete and a very great fighter but not the best.  I think that Kurt Angle is better, if not the best.  Look, he is an only Olympic gold medalist in professional wrestling history. That is something that no one else is.  That means he is the all time best, in my mind.  I don't want to make people mad or angry with my thoughts about this as I will talk about angle another time.  Ric Flair just retired this year and it was one moment that I will never forget. I saw his last match at Wresltemania and it was a very good performance that he gave.  In my mind, Ric is in the record books no doubt about it.  He is in the WWE hall of fame so simply that is worth something to the star that is in there.  Really Ric's time is over now.  I hate to see him go but he had his time and now the young stars have their chance.  No one will ever be A Ric Flair. Can anyone recreate his career? NO!  Can someone surpass his titles? YES!  But without a question in my mind, Ric Flair is like no other wrestler and there will not be another Ric Flair.  To be the man, you have to beat the man. Many people beat him, but none are or were him.  Ric had a tremendous career but it's time for the fans to move on and think back at all of the great times Ric Flair had succeeded.  That is all for "my thoughts" for today but please check back to my others and wait to see my others coming soon.  If you have any suggestions for a future "My thoughts" blog, then feel free to message me.  Anyway that is my thoughts on this topic, but what are yours?  Talk to you next time! WOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Here is another installment of "my thoughts".  And today I am talking about Gail Kim from a request by a person.  Gail Kim is known as one of the best women stars in wrestling history.  Most of the new fans of WWE don't know who she is.  Gail Kim is one of the best in the WWE from 1999-2003.  I am not sure of the exact time frame of when she was in the WWE.  Gail Kim is a former women's champion, former TNA knockout champion.  She recently has been in TNA for a couple years.  On there, she was one of the biggest, not only knockout but biggest all around star on the company.  The TNA women's division has been getting bigger and bigger. They have been very successful and even had talks of making a show just for the TNA knockouts.  I am a fan of Gail Kim as she is a great star and great athlete.  She has accomplished many things in her career.  I liked the work of Gail Kim when she was in WWE but I don't really remember that time as that was a couple years ago, around 5 years.  Now when she was in TNA, she was one of her biggest draws.  I liked her work in TNA and a former TNA knockout champ.  She had it all in TNA.  She had a main event part, the biggest star in a division, fought for a championship, and had a big fan base.  Now couple weeks ago, she and TNA parted ways.  Now there are rumors going around that she is coming back to WWE.  Now I have heard about this.  There have been so many post on fan nation here and on other sites that are just going crazy about it.  Now what do I think of this situation?  Well I do think that she will come back to WWE.  I know that WWE will put an offer on a table as they would want to pick her up.  I would see her coming on raw but also on smackdown.  I best bet would be raw, but they might try to get the ratings up for the TV station switch so she might go SD.  Really nothing is official yet on whether she will be in WWE as we will know when the final deal is done.  I do believe that she is coming but I know that some deals fall through and we will have to wait until we actually see her on WWE TV.  Just look at "wild cat" Chris Harris, he signed with wwe and didn't come on until months later and when he finally came on raw, he got released weeks after that.  Gail Kim has a long way to go in her career and she will be on top of any women division that she chooses to be in.  She will win many other championships in the division and she will put on great matches and great rivalrys as she always did and will.  As her career rolls on, only see her career and skill to get bigger and better!  That is all for "my thoughts" for today but please check back to my others and wait to see my others coming soon.  If you have any suggestions for a future "My thoughts" blog, then feel free to message me.  Anyway that is my thoughts on this topic, but what are yours?  Talk to you next time!

    My thoughts on Goldberg

Here is another installment of "my thoughts".  And today I am talking about Goldberg from a request by a person.  Goldberg is known for being in WCW, not WWE.  Goldberg was brought in by WCW as a new star and really no one knew how successful he would be.  WCW rose a star the old fashion way. WCW put Goldberg in matches and went undefeated.  He wrestled in matches after matches and won every single time.  He became the biggest star and the biggest draw for WCW.  Still undefeated, we went on to face WCW champion Hulk Hogan for the title and won.  He is really brought WCW up and gave them so much money.  Not only that time, but he also went on to be WCW champ several other times.  After WCW fell to its ultimate demise, WWE brought in most of the WCW stars and actually brought in and kept Goldberg for quite awhile.  Goldberg has been in the WWE and particularly fought on RAW.  He has been in some great storylines and rivalrys.  He has been in an elimination chamber match for the world title, a storyline with brock lesner and so much more.  But after things fell apart with WWE and Goldberg, he and WWE decided to go their separate ways.  His last match was at Wrestlemania 20 agains Brock Lesner.  My thoughts on Goldberg are simple.  I think that he is a great performer and athlete.  He has been one, maybe the best, superstar in WCW history.  I would love to see him still wrestle in the WWE or TNA.  He was a great wrestler and had a great skill.  But times have changed.  Awhile ago, there were rumors that TNA was going to bring him in. but rumors on those internet dirtsheet community, or as you may know them as those internet site that give spoilers and rumors, are mostly never right anymore.  I wouldn't mind seeing him in TNA but I would love to see him at WWE much more.  I know that he is making his wrestling return, but there must be some rumor that Goldberg is coming to Unforgiven in September.  Well I haven't heard of that anywhere.  I get all of the news around the wrestling business, but I haven't heard anything on Goldberg coming into the WWE and even coming next month for that matter.  If that rumor is true, then why haven't I heard of it? Well I am not sure, but that rumor wouldn't be true then.  I would be surprised to see him if he came at Unforgiven.  But the WWE is keeping everything secret now and these days.  They don't give out any information, or at least try not to.  When I hear Goldberg, I think of WCW and being one of the biggest stars there.  Love him or hate him, you have to be impressed of what he did for the company of WCW.  That is all for "my thoughts" for today but please check back to my others and wait to see my others coming soon.  If you have any suggestions for a future "My thoughts" blog, then feel free to message me.  Anyway that is my thoughts on this topic, but what are yours?  Talk to you next time!

My thoughts on Hell in the Cell

Friday, August 22, 2008, 05:27 PM EST [My thoughts on...]
    Posted By: McMahon 101

This is a special edition of "My Thoughts" as I will talk about the Hell in the Cell match. Not only will I talk about the match at Summerslam, but I will talk about the history of that match, the kind of matches that went on in the cell, and of course my thoughts on it, so lets begin!  The hell in the cell match may be called the most dangerous, the most destructive match in wrestling history. On wwe.com, they had a segment of "list this" and they named the Hell in the cell (HITC) the most dangerous match ever. Well certainly this match has shortened careers, damaged the bodies of people who been in it, and made history in professional wrestling.  I have to say, and most people would say this with me, that the best, well known, and historic HITC match was the undertaker vs. Mankind in 1998. That match really set a mild-stone and the bar of all and upcoming HITC matches. There will never be a hell in the cell match that will recreate, top, and beat that match. That match is my #1 HITC match of all time.  There are so many new fans that are coming to the wwe, most of them are kids. But my advice is, if you never saw this match, the taker and mankind match, then you HAVE to see it! There have been other HITC matches too. There were a total of, I am pretty sure, 15 or 16 matches.  I haven't seen all of them, but seen quite a few, maybe more like 5 or 6 of them. My second best hell in the cell match was shawn Michaels vs. triple h at bad blood in 2003.  That was my first pay-per-view that I have ever ordered, but that was also the first hell in the cell match that I witnessed live.  I have HITC matches on DVD, but never on a ppv live.  This is my second best hell in the cell match because if you like weapons, if you like blood, if you like the steel, like I do, then you have to see this.  This match was lead by a PERFECT storyline and rivalry.  I absolutely loved this match and I would watch it again and again if I could.  There were also many other HITC matches, including one with taker and the big boss man. I liked this one on account that it had a good ending where taker hung boss man over the ring. That is a moment that I will never forget.  There are two names that I associate with hell in the cell. One of course is the undertaker, hes been in 7 HITC matches and his record is 4-3. The other name I associate with this match is HHH. I don't know how many of these matches he has been through or his record, but he has had some historic moments and historic matches in there. For example, when HHH and mick foley were on the top of the cage, HHH threw mick over his shoulder and foley went through the top and landed and went through the ring.  The cell now is different than before. First, its more dangerous. It is higher (taller), wider, and made of more steel. The cell that taker and edge match that just happened at this summerslam this past week was more sturdy and thicker steel.  I say that this match was not a classic as some people are saying, but it was good. I don't think it will top the list of the best HITC matches in wwe history. I know now that the stars going to the top of the cage will never happen again. The cell now is taller and more dangerous than it was years back, but the new version of HITC has something special. That is more weapons and new moves. Even though they wont go to the top and go through the cell anymore, this match will have weapons galore. Just like the taker and edge match, it had ladders, tables, chairs, and steel. Also, we wont see them flying of the top but they will do some other INSANE moves like edge spearing taker through the cell and taker lighting a fire through the ring.  The reason why its higher now, is because the ladders will work better. Before people weren't able to stand on them as they would touch the top of the cell, but now it is way taller, so they have more room to jump off and land better so they don't get hurt.  This match is my second favorite, as the elimination chamber is my first. Both of these matches are violent, deadly and will shorten careers and will harm the human body.  But I know this, the Hell in the Cell match is a fan favorite, a top and famous match in the wwe, and it will and always make history when there is a match in it.  That is all for "my thoughts" for today but please check back to my others and wait to see my others coming soon as I will post one each Friday.  If you have any suggestions for a future "My thoughts" blog, then feel free to message me.  Anyway that is my thoughts on this topic, but what are yours?  Talk to you next time!

    My thoughts on Triple H

Here is another installment of "my thoughts".  And today I am talking about Triple H.  When Triple h came into the company really no one would know how he would do or how popular he would be. But if you look at him now, he is one of the most successful supertars that ever been in the WWE, really in all of professional wrestling for that matter.  HHH is known for many things.  He is known as "The Game.  Later on in his career, he became Triple H and that is when his career really took off.  HHH was a member of D-X, went through multiple injuries, and held many, I mean many, titles and yet he is still going.  Triple H has injuries that would usually have any athlete done with their career in the sports world for good, but HHH battled through it.  Really HHH is known for being part of the McMahon family as he is married to Stephanie McMahon.  Together they have two kids, including the one they have now.  Many people in and out of the wrestling business say that he gets "special" treatment.  I know he doesn't. I even asked Vince McMahon about this a couple weeks ago and he said that he doesn't. I know some of you maybe skeptical but that is the truth. HHH is a 12, I am pretty sure, world champion. He has held the world heavyweight title, the WWE title, and many more.  He has some of the most famous storylines and matches ever like being in the first elimination chamber. But what are my thoughts on him. I really respect him. Love him or hate him, heel or babyface, he is one of my favorites, period.  He has done so much for the company that all of you love, and most of you take it for granted.  He is one of the best that ever stepped into a WWE ring, and some day, I know it, he will pass Ric Flairs all-time record of being a 16 world champion. HHH has a long time left in his career, and he will continue to dazzle the audience and make some of the best moments in WWE history.  So the next time you see him, respect him and be grateful of what he has done.  That is all for "my thoughts" for now but please check back to my others and wait to see my others coming soon.  If you have any suggestions for a future "My thoughts" blog, then feel free to message me.  Anyway that is my thoughts on this topic, but what are yours?  Talk to you next time!
