    HHH-greatest ever or just Nepotism?

Does HHH get special treatment or is that all a rumor leading to a big lie?  Many, if not most, people think he gets treatment that no one else gets in all of WWE.  What do you side with? Well I will run it down and by the end, you can decide on what opinion you are with.

I would like to start with HHH be a wrestler who is like everyone else.  Personally, I don't think he gets any special treatment from anyone.  First, when Triple H came into the WWE, really no one knew he would become one of the best in WWE history.  Before he ever married to Vince McMahon's daughter, Stephanie McMahon, he became a 6-8 time world champion.  He has won more championships when he wasn't married to steph than he was when he was married to her.  Second, Triple H became a main eventer before they met also.  When he really got big was when he was part of DX (D-Generation X).  He was big star before that, but he really grew in popularity when he was part of DX.  He wasn't married to Stephanie when he was in the original DX, so no one can say he was part of the biggest stable in professional wrestling history.  With those reasons why, I don't know how anyone could say he gets special treatment.

For those who think he gets special treatment, and for those who don't think he does, I am going to run down the reasons why he does and why people are wrong that he doesn't.  I would like to say that HHH became one of the biggest stars in WWE history and all of that happened after he got married to steph.  Even though he became a main event star before he became part of the McMahon family, he rose to the ranks in such a short amount of time.  If you look at the time after he came into the McMahon family, he has been facing for the title and been at the top for so long.  He has been in the WWE for such a long time, and he isn't helping the younger stars.  Now HHH was awarded the championship.  Back in 2002, Eric Bischoff was GM of Raw, they changed the title to the world title and he was just given the title.  He really didn't earn the title and he wasn't #1 contender.  People thought that he was given the title because he is related to the chairman. (Now I have to say that giving him the title back then was just by a storyline).  Not only was he awarded the championship, ever since he was named a McMahon, he has held the title longer and longer each time.  Before, he hasn't held the title that long, but now as the years go by, he has held it longer and more.  I do have to say that it seems like he is given the title shot every time.

WWE looked at what people thought and applied it to their show.  A couple weeks ago, Jeff Hardy had a segment with HHH in the ring.  Jeff said that if Triple H wasn't part of the family (the McMahon family), Jeff would have the title.

People have their own opinion on what they believe.  Like I said, I personally think HHH doesn't get special treatment.  Vince McMahon is a business man and is always fair to all of his workers.  Really, the facts are presented each way and I hope I presented the facts straight for you to decide.  I love to talk about this topic, so that is what side I am taking. Which side do you believe?

No Mercy: a 7 year deja vu?

Monday, September 22, 2008, 07:42 PM EST [General]

7 years ago at NO Mercy, we witnessed a breath taking ladder match between Christan vs. Edge for the Intercontental title. 7 years later, we have a ladder match once again. i am hear to tell you what this could mean and if this could be a repeat.

Seven years ago, it was brother vs. brother, Edge vs. Christan for a title. that title was the Intercontental title.  Now, i watched this match last night on the Ladder Match DVD. i have NEVER seen that match before so i didnt know what was going to happen and who would win.  Now i watched that ladder match and i saw a great one.  Both of these stars are great with ladders and great to use them.  This match kept me on the edge of my seat. The beginning of the match, it was just draging on and i really didnt get into it. around the middle, if not before that, i got into the match after the ladder was used as the weapon.  Now most of you probably like weapons in matches. This match had it. both preformed outstanding and really put on a show for the ages.  But now lets fast forward 7 years!

at this No mercy, we have a ladder match. this ladder match is Y2J (Chris jerico) vs. HBK (Shawn Michaels) for the World Heavyweight Championship.  Could this match really be a repeat of the 2001 NO Mercy Ladder match? well let me tell you!

unlike the HBK and Y2J match, the brother vs. brother match used weapons galore.  they used many weapons like ladders and chairs. not only using them, but they put on multiple, if not dozens, of risk taking moves.  they really brought the house done on what moves they put their bodies on the line.  Now this year's ladder match, i really dont see that.  HBK and Y2J dont have a weapons storyline and really dont have a rivalry that needs weapons. this ladder match is more of a wrestling match than a ladder match.

the 2001 ladder match, they had risk taking moves and a great rivalry.  this year, HBK and Y2J have a better rivalry then Edge and Christian did.  dont get me wrong, HBK and Y2J were in great stipulation matches and really had some moves taht involved weapons, but Edge and Christan are better at it.  also, that match was for the Intercontental title but this one is for the biggest price, the World Heavyweight title.

conclusion: i see this match in the coming weeks be one for the record books.  this match SHOULD be better on an account that its for the biggest price of all on RAW.  i dont see this match a ladder match, but more like a wrestling match. they will use ladders but not as much as the other one.  Michaels and Jerico may be great with risk taking moves and Shawn maybe revolutionized the ladder match, but so did Edge and Christan and i dont think Shawn could live up to that.  he is in a stage of his career where he really cant put on matches like that. i know he may have done it before, but one wrong move and he is out for good.  Now if i could, i WOULD buy this match on PPV.  if you want a great rivalry match, then you would love to see this one, but if you want weapon moves, then you want to see the Edge and Christan match.

Final: this match won't be a repeat as it should house something completely better for wrestling wise.

Wwe Weekly Werind: it your hands

here is last weeks installment. i might cancel this blog series so vote on it if i should keep it or get rid of it

hey fan nation, with a my "Wwe Weekly Werind" being canelled last week because i went to smackdown and didnt see Raw, the blog series is back and under full swing. now if you are new to this blog series, this is where i take a hard hitting look at what happened during the pass week of WWE and give some backstage news and also comment on some things.  so without any delay, lets begin!

now Raw was a good show this week, actually it was better than i expected.  i thought this show was good and better than the past couple of weeks.  during Raw, we saw some special apperances and returns. first we saw Randy Orton come to the ring and talk trash to all of the champions of Raw. now, hearing that he said that and attacking CM Punk, i know that Punk will win at Unforgiven and keep his title and when Randy comes back, they both will be in a rivalry.  it was nice to see Orton again as he is a great star and athlete.  i do miss him wrestling as i think Raw may need him now, but i want him to heal and when he comes back, i know he will be champ again.  we saw candice Michelle come back. she wrestled in a 6 diva tag team match.  she got the pinfall for her first match back from injury.  it looks like her and Beth will be fighting and going after the women's title.  i think that rivalry will be interesting as i havent seen Candice fight for quite awhile and from the looks at it on Raw, she wrestled better than i thought.  the contract signing at the end was very good. usually at every contract signing there is a fight at the end, but this one was different as there wasnt any fight.  i liked that. it was different and i think that this storyline is really heated and very interesting.  to tell you the truth, i am just getting into this storyline now but i know that this is probably the last of it as this will be the last match between them too in this rivalry.  i dont really like contract signing as they really dont need to sign any contract to be in a match but really it is for the storyline to move forward.  overall Raw was good but Smackdown was better.

Smackdown was very good this week. i have seen better but i have seen worse. i told you that it was better than Raw so let me tell you why.  HHH came out to the ring and acted his normal funny self.  he was talking about unforgiven and then gets interupted by the contendors, wow what a surprise. i didnt see that happening.  anways, the first match was shelton and MVP.  now i say that this match should of lasted longer but what can i do. i think MVP had some breathing problems and they had to end the match early.  Taker also came out to the ring and talked about Vickie again.  From the sound of it, it seems that Vickie is going to be dead meat at the PPV.  i hope not though as i think Vickie is great.  she is one of the best, no THE best, Smackdown GM of all time.  she has really showed herself and she has made me love SD and made it my #1 show out of WWE.  the jeff and the brian kendrick match was very good. i wanted to see them wrestle against each other for some time now and they are just great. brian is the future of this business and that is it.  i hope he wins at Unforgiven but i know he wont.  Smackdown was simply the better show here this week.

there really wasnt any backstage news this week for the WWE so really there isnt anything to say.

so thank you for reading and please comment. good bye everyone!

    Get Real?!

i am just going right into my point.  now i havent watched Unforgiven last night, but i think i will buy the ppv when it comes out on dvd.  now i read that Y2J Chirs Jericho won.  now manhy people on here say that it should be like that and are very disgusted by it.  well i am saying that you cant do anything about it. it already happened.  but what i am liking about those statements is that the WWE did actually what they wanted to do. and it was to grab the audiance and do something no one would think of.  i was surprised he one it and i bet that everyone else waas surprised.  i dont get why WWW would just write out CM Punk like that, but i am glad for Jericho and glad he is champ.  his time is now and he deserves to be champ.  i am excited to see what he has to say about it and who his opponent will be.  there are people saying Punk and there are people saying HBK and then there are people saying Batistista.  now i think WWE is doing a great job keeping the results of the match so that all of the outside internet dirtsheet communities dont know what is happening.  really they dont know anything anymore so i advise you not to read from those sites.  i just cant believe he won.  this changes everyone thing now.  i am glad HHH won and has the title, but come on! get real!  i wanted The Brian Kendrick to win so badly but i know that the WWE doesnt do what i say, but at least do something.  i am not complaining, but i would like to see someone get a big push.  now  i am also surprised that Big Show is with vickie now.  it just makes the storyline more and more intersting. the vickie and taker storyline is my favorite storyline and it is just getting better and better and soon it will be one of the best in WWE history.  overall, i heard good and bad ratings for the ppv, but my main point is:  if Y2J is champ, who is he facing and what is WWE thinking by having Punk not in the match.  check out in alittle bit for my live blog show. please comment and thanks for reading.
