As Smackdown aired just hours ago on My Network TV, it's time for "My infamous smackdown recap". Now I am starting out with big things poppin, little things droppin. It started out with the superstar on the losing streak, MVP. He had his MVP Lounge. Now he didn't get far into the show as The Great Khali came out and interrupted him. I personally like The Great Khali now. I know it may sound weird, but ever since he started the Kiss cam, I am excited every time he comes on the TV screen. He came out and had another kiss cam. I just like to mention that the kiss cam is one of my favorite segments in all of WWE. Anyway, he kissed 2 ladies on this episode. If this goes on forever, I wouldn't mind as I could see this every single week no matter how long it might be aired.
With Smackdown starting out with this segment, I knew it was going to be a good show but was I right? Well the next match was Shelton Benjamin vs. R-Truth for the US title. When I saw this match on paper, I knew that it was going to be an action packed match. Every time Benjamin is in the ring, he always surprises me and I know it will be exciting. I was rooting for Shelton in this match as I think he is the better star and luckily he won.
The bad part was Smackdown went downhill from there. The matches become less entertaining and less exciting. The other match that really took my interest was the tag team match of HHH and Jeff vs. Miz and Morrison. That was an exciting match but Jeff went crazy.
I was glad to see Vickie Guerrero on Smackdown again and we saw her at different periods during the show. She wanted to find a star that really can take down The Undertaker and while she was doing that, she came across several stars like MVP, Jeff Hardy, and Big Show. MVP faced The Great Khali in a match and that match was an okay match. The diva's match was pretty good. We saw the Brie Bella Twin's, finally, but we now know its official. I was surprised we didn't see Carlito and Primo in action but they were on TV for 5 seconds.
The other part that was great was The Brian Kendrick. I know he didn't wrestle, he should have, but he didn't. His bodyguard did though. He faced Jimmy Wang Yang. Like JR said, I think Jimmy should get a bigger push and have more on Smackdown. Anyway, I loved Kendrick's dancing and his segment in the back as he talked to Jimmy Wang Yang. His bodyguard won but the best part of that match was the ending where Kendrick was running around the ring and dancing. He must take dancing lessons or something as his dancing always gets better. I know he is the future of this business and I just love his character. Go Kendrick go!
The main event wasn't what expected. I thought it was going to be great but it didn't really interest me. I don't know why, but it didn't click for me. The ending was amazing though. Jeff is on a rampage to show Vickie that he can beat HHH for the title. He came out with a chair and attacked Kozlov and The Undertaker, which surprised me. At the end, Jeff went into Vickie's office and acted like the estranged Edge right before he took a break. You may know what I am talking about. When Edge that was going crazy on Vickie and so on. Anyway, When Jeff was talking to Vickie that reminded me of Edge's character. The match next week, The Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy in an Extreme rules match, should be a phenomenal match. I can't wait for that match. Those are the main points of Smackdown. that is all the time today but don't miss next week's Smackdown.
