Here is another installment of "my thoughts". And today I am talking about Batista from a request of a friend of mine. Batista's nickname is The Animal and he lives up to that name. Batista came into the WWE in 2002. That year so many stars came in the WWE as that was like their baby boomer year. They had Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, John Cena and, of course, Batista and others. Batista made his debut on RAW with the stable Evolution. In that stable, it had the stars of Batista, Ric Flair, Triple H, and Randy Orton who also made his debut in 2002. This stable lead RAW and really became the ultimate heal stable. Seeing Randy and Batista, I knew that they would be the future of this business and I know that I lived up to that statement. Batista fought in some great matches. For example, at Wrestlemania 20, he teamed up with Randy Orton and they went against The Rock and Mick Foley. Couple years later, Batista went on to win the Royal Rumble and went to face his former mentor HHH. Batista won the biggest match of his career as he became the world heavyweight champ in that match. After that both of them had different matches. The rivalry ended with a Hell in the Cell match and Batista said, that match was his favorite in his career. Batista got drafted to Smackdown in a draft lottery and became a big star on that show as well. He had some of the biggest storylines and rivalries when coming to Smackdown. He faced Booker T, Edge, The Undertaker and many others. After all of these famous rivalries, he got drafted back to RAW in the 2008 draft. He is now having some great rivalries on that show. My thoughts on Batista are very positive. I like Batista. He is a great star, great actor, and great entertainer. He really puts on a great match every time he wrestles. He gives it his all in every single matches and gives the fans what they paid for and to show them a great time. I don't think Batista is at his prime yet. He is still new to this company since only being in WWE for 6 years. That is a lot but still he has a long time ahead of him. I still think Batista is young and that his prime will come and he will be bigger and better than he is now. He is the future of this business and everyone knows that. He is a former world champ, but he will still be a major champ and win quite a few more before his career comes to an end. I am not sure how many major titles he won, I think its 4-6, but I expect to see him reach up to 10 or even 12. He has a lot of time and will only get more experienced. At Summerslam, he faced john Cena to see who is better. I think out of those stars, Batista is the better wrestler and can carry this company with no question. John is better with the money making process of WWE. He sells millions and millions of dollars of merchandise and connects to the crowd, but I do think that Batista is better. Both of them are said to take steroids as they can't look like that and be that big. I know for a fact that John and Batista don't. Batista connects to the fans in a different way and will not damage his popularity for that. Also if he did, then why hasn't he got suspended? Many people say that WWE looks out for the main event stars and won't suspend them, but that is not true at all, just look at Jeff Hardy. See Batista to only get bigger in this company as time passes by. You may like him or hate him, but really think how good he is and how strong he is. He is a BIG part of this company and will be for MANY, MANY more years to come. That is all for "my thoughts" for today but please check back to my others and wait to see my others coming soon. If you have any suggestions for a future "My thoughts" blog, then feel free to message me. Anyway that is my thoughts on this topic, but what are yours? Talk to you next time!
