    In Praise of Vince McMahon

Federicco Fellini once said, "Realism is a bad word. In a sense everything is realistic. I see no line between the imaginary and the real." World Wrestling Entertainment chairman, Vince McMahon, may not have much in common with Fellini but he saw no line and changed and revolutionized the television and wrestling business. Vince McMahon connects with the fans, spends millions to give people entertainment, and has inspired me like no other person.

Is there a business man or an owner of a company do what his customers want? No, actually that isn't really done by many people but one person does it. That person is Vince McMahon. I really haven't seen a businessman like him. Vince is the owner of World Wrestling Entertainment, WWE, which is the largest wrestling promotion in the whole world and it has been that way for more than ten years. On regular television shows, the writers don't do what their fans, or viewers, would like to see. They just go ahead and write their own story. Well in the WWE, they thrive on their fans as they wouldn't survive without them. There wouldn't be any WWE if it wasn't for the fans. The fans watch because what they want to see what happens on the shows. Yes sometimes the shows aren't interesting but others are amazing. For example, back in the summer the economy was bad. The market was going down, everyone was losing their money and the prices of everything were going up. Vince took notice to this problem and acted. The whole summer long, he gave away a sum of one million dollars to the fans every Monday. That is caring for your fans. It helped so many people and I have to thank him for that.

Sometimes people are bored by either they can't find anything on Television or they just can't find anything to do? Well, believe it or not, wrestling is the purist form of entertainment. People may watch a football game, hockey game, tennis match, or another sport or anything else you get entertainment from but there are times where it is boring to them. Vince's product, the WWE, has nonstop entertainment that is exciting. Many people say wrestling is fake and they hate it, but the truth is they never sat down more than ten minutes to watch it. Vince even said, "The first time you watch it, you will be hooked". It happened to millions of others and to me. The main point here is Vince gives the best entertainment around and he spends his own money to bring that. He spends money on contracts of superstars that we love to see, matches, and much more. He tries to deliver the best matches and some matches are worth thousands of dollars to have. He also spends money on celebrities to come to WWE, the whole arena, and all of the production. Vince has the biggest Pay-Per-View, PPV, ever and that is Wrestlemania. It is the biggest PPV all year and the chairman spends around one million dollars just on that show. Vince is truly the master of entertainment no matter how much it costs.

Most importantly, Vince McMahon has inspired me like no other person. Vince has done so much in his life that I have to thank him. Without him, I wouldn't know where I would be or who I would really be. Vince has changed my life so much and no other person is able to do that. Vince has helped me through hard times. When I am not myself, I would always watch his shows and I know that this is me. He has introduced me to something that I love. I have never met him but he works so hard, more than most people, and that shows me to try my best and to do my hardest. He also inspires me to help others. Every year around Christmas, he and the stars always go to Iraq, since the war started, and puts on a show for the troops. They all spend time with the troops. Actually they just got back from their trip from there this past week. He has created memories for me from his shows that I will never forget.

Vince McMahon always does things for the fans, spends his own personal money to supply the best entertainment around, and has influenced my life. There has been a time that I didn't have the WWE in my life, but I don't think I could go back to that. Vine has revolutionized the wrestling business and has revolutionized my life forever. As I said, I haven't met him but one day I hope to and hope to be with this great company. No matter what people think about him and his business, they have to respect him for what he has done. He contributes so much because he once said, "I think my idea of retirement might be one day work a 40-hour week."

I have been wanting some Edge merechandise for such a long time now.  I had my eye on a couple of things and today i finally bought them on WWEshop.com.  I first bought the new Edge dvd package.  It comes with the dvd and a shirt.  I been wanting a shirt of Edge for a long time.  Next, i got another Edge shirt.  One says "The Rated R Superstar" and the other has a picture of Edge with his name.  I can't wait to get them.  Finally, i got the Edge leather cuff.  I been wanting something to wear where i can wear it all the time to promote Edge and this leather cuff is the key.  It was quite exspensive but i think it will pay off.  I am now waiting for the Edge dvd as i need to see some Edge matches as they are always great.  I can't wait to finally have ONE Edge shirt, 2 makes it better.  I have other WWE shirts that have Edge on it but it also has other stars, which i think doesn't give the whole Edge feeling.  It should come in about a week, i even got free shipping.  On top of that, Edge won the WWE title this week.  Wow, this is the week of Edge for Me!

I don't know if you knew, but i did a blog on here called "My thoughts on..".  It was a blog series that i did every week.  You may also know my group on here TFC.  TFC is a group that is just like the WWE.  i have 3 GMs and they make matches and have real storylines just like the WWE, and sometimes their better.  Well i was going to expand on that group and have a show that will and could feature you.  You would be on the roster of that group and you would have matches and titles.  You will be involved in storylines and conflicts just like you were in the WWE.  You can call yourself an online wrestler.  I will make the matches every week.  The show will be seen on my profile under my blogs and for an easier way, it will be on the TFC site where you can comment and see all of the other shows.  I would like your thought on this and if you would like to be a online wrestler at all?  If you are interested in this poposal, then come and message me.  Either go to my profile, or go to this group and click "Contact owner".

My thoughts on Jeff's title win

Here is an exclusive installment of "my thoughts".  And today I am talking about Jeff Hardy's title win.  Now many people might not like this blog post for what I have to say.  Well I am going to start from the beginning.

Jeff has been in the WWE for many, many years.  He hasn't been in the WWE his whole life as you know.  Long story short, he got released and went to TNA.  Jeff came back in 2006 and got a huge crowd.  His popularity rose greatly.  Now over those years, many people wanted him to be a major champion, and to refresh all of your minds, my major championships are the WWE, World title, and the ECW world title.  But in those times, he got suspended twice.  He came on Smackdown and his career certainly changed.  I think since he came to Smackdown, he got better and bigger.  He is now ONE of the biggest stars on Smackdown.  Jeff had major title shots several times.  Not in the past years, but in this year.  I can think of numerous times that he was fighting for the #1 contender's spot and when he actually faced the champion.  I know last year, as I went to Armageddon, he was in a #1 contender's match for the WWE title.  It was Jeff vs. HHH.  As you can think, HHH won the match and Jeff lost another opportunity.  Jeff faced against the WWE champion so many times this past year and lost them all.  BUT, that was all going to change.

The date of December 14, 2008 will be put in the wrestling history books forever.  That date will be remembered as Jeff Hardy won the WWE championship, his first major championship.  Now I am a fan of Jeff, I absolutely love his wrestling skills.  I love, I crave, his high flying moves.  I respect him deeply but I don't think he deserves the title just yet.  Now let me explain.

This past year, Jeff had countless times that he could have won the WWE title.  Now I know it's all scripted but it really doesn't make sense.  Do you see a star that lost all of his title opportunities and then they get another shot and win?  No you don't!  Yes, I have to say that HHH may get a lot of title shots, Cena may get a lot of title shots but truly, they sometimes don't deserve it.  In my mind, a star that deserves a title shot has to WIN his matches.  Jeff has won his matches recently, against The Undertaker and The Brian Kendrick but he lost all of his title matches.  Next, Jeff has been suspended twice this year.  I think the first one was January, and the other I know was in March.  He got suspended right before Wrestlemania.  I know no star wants to miss Wrestlemania but Jeff missed it and he even had a match.  I do think he would have won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.  Missing it by being suspended for something that you did is not professional.  I don't even know what was going through Jeff's mind as he probably knew he might get caught.  Many people say that was 8 months ago and it's over with but it doesn't matter.  Lengths don't count for wrestling, unless it's a title reign.  No one looks how long he has been suspended, how long his last suspended was, it matters if he was suspended and that is final.  Jeff, to me, is very unprofessional and should be doing the right thing.  He has fans that follow him and he should acknowledge it.

One of the main reasons that the WWE didn't make Jeff champion earlier is because they didn't depend on him, and either did I.  WWE needed to know that Jeff is responsible and he won't do it again.  I still think the WWE shouldn't have given him the title.  I think he should have won it in early 2009.  Jeff has proven to me that he can keep his word but I still don't trust him.  This title reign, this time frame in his career, will make or break him.  He can successfully defend his title every time the WWE makes him and has a great title reign with no marks on his career.  Or it could break him as I think the WWE will check him in about a month to see if he is on anything.  And if he is, he will be FIRED and it will ruin, crush, and sullied.

I think that Matt is better than Jeff.  Jeff is better at hig flying but Matt is professional and is comitted to his career.  I would trust the World title with Matt more than Jeff.  I am glad that both are champions though but i think Matt deserves more if the WWE gives him an oppurtunity.

See Edge deserves the main event spot and world title matches since he stayed in the WWE, has no marks, and has proven himself.  Jeff is the exact opposite.  Despite my words, I am hoping that Jeff will surmount this time in his career.  If this works, his career will be on the rebound and be better than ever!  I may not like his title win, but I have to congratulate him.  I know this title reign will be very, very interesting!  That is all for "my thoughts" for now but please check back to my others and wait to see my others coming soon.  If you have any suggestions for a future "My thoughts" blog, then feel free to message me.  Anyway that is my thoughts on this topic, but what are yours?  Talk to you next time!  Come see an older "My thoughts on Jeff Hardy" the complete thing!  Come and see another blog titled "jeff: a tragic career"
