3 Hr. RAW, Flair's Son, Details on Cade's Release

Thursday, October 23, 2008, 03:28 PM EST [General]

RAW's 800th Episode has already occurred, but the 3 Hour RAW coming on November 3rd in Tampa, FL is for the 800th episode. Being featured for the show is a DX reunion with Shawn Michaels and Triple H vs. The Miz & John Morrison. Also included in this show is a steel cage World Heavyweight Title Match between Jericho and Batista. Many superstars from all three brands will be there for the show.

Ric Flair's son, Reid, is about a year away from signing a wresting contract for the WWE. Even Flair would like to be in his corner. One source is saying that the WWE isn't high right now on signing Reid to a contract. Most of it has to do with Reid growing up and dealing with some maturity issues. He also has had some behavior issues and without a doubt the WWE would love to sign him, but some feel that he would be more trouble then triumph.

Lance Cade was released about a month ago, soon after his match with Shawn Michaels on RAW. When he was released, it came to a shock to the WWE 'entertainers' and the WWE Universe, since he had recieved a huge push since his disbanding from Trevor Murdoch, who was also released after their breakup. Details are now available for his release. It is believed that he was released because of he abuse of prescription pills, which led to a seizure on an airplane. Lilian Garcia was on the same flight, who was the one who identified Cade to the flight attendants. He was rushed to the hospital and was still incoherent when he reached the hospital. The WWE felt that since this was a public issue that the most demanding punishment be taken which was a release from the company.

    Big Opening Night for Smackdown

Wednesday, September 17, 2008, 10:55 AM EST [General]

Without a doubt, Smackdown is lack luster in the ratings game on Friday night. With their move to MyNetworkTV on October 3rd, WWE is pulling out all the stops on opening night. The night before will feature a WWE Divas themed edition of "Magic's biggest secrets finally revealed" and WWE Wrestlemania 24. The night of Smackdown will officially have all champion vs. champion matches. The only match that has actually been announced is Chris Jericho vs. Triple H vs. Matt Hardy. I will not be able to see the first show, but after this announcement I will be sure to tape it.

    John Cena Returning as Heel??

Saturday, September 13, 2008, 10:32 AM EST [General]

Many people within the WWE are thinking about moving Cena's character to a minor heel instead of a face, although he is getting mixed reactions everywhere he goes. The company was hoping that he would get reactions that Austin and The Rock got when they were in the WWE. One big problem with turning Cena heel is that he does a lot of merchandise sales and with him turning heel, they are afraid that they will lose sales which end up hurting the business. Cena is the face of the business right now and that would put a damper on the WWE if he were put in a heel situation that could hurt his image to his fans right now, which most are women and kids. This is not official, but is something that the WWE is looking into when Cena has recoved from his injury and comes back to the squared ring.

    WWE PPV Changes Coming??

Thursday, September 11, 2008, 10:15 PM EST [General]

WWE has no concern with the 4 major PPV (Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, & Summerslam) but the other PPV's are lack luster to put it simply. WWE is starting to push big matches for the B-Show PPV's. Most of the B-Show PPV's are now starting to push Gimmick's to encourage people to go and buy the second rate PPV's. They have already changed Vengance to Night of Champions and One Night Stand features all speciality matches and extreme rules. The Scramble Matches from Unforgiven were a big success in WWE's case and will probably be brought back next year some time. Their is also talk about another elimination chamber match at No Way Out, but nothing has been confirmed as of now.
