It's official... as of this Monday night, I am now a Raw Diva! I would be lying if I said that I wasn't COMPLETELY shocked when I found out I was being traded to Monday Night Raw. I would also be lying if I said there wasn't a little part of me that was sad to be leaving my SmackDown friends, Cryme Tyme, Maria, and the rest of the "Blue Team". I even enjoyed my exchanges with Layla's feisty little self. Also, on SmackDown, I was lucky to be able to compete against two of the strongest women wrestlers in the WWE: Michelle McCool, and Natalya. Competing against women like them taught me what being an in-ring competitor is, and forced me to bring my A game at all times.
Now, I am ready to take what I learned from SmackDown to my new home on Monday nights! I am excited for the new challenges that await, and hopefully, the fun times as well! Hanging out with Snoop Dogg (and Hornswoggle) on my first night on Raw was a fun way to get broken in to my new home ;-) As I love competing in the ring more and more, I can only hope that there will be more opportunities, and Diva's Championship title shots that await in the future. I am definitely proud to be an addition to the Raw women's division.
Well, I think there is a lot to catch up on, but if you want to know the nitty gritty details of my everyday life, you can follow me on Twitter... Twitter.com/EveMarieTorres So far I keep the tweets coming!
First, I want to thank all of you who have supported me in this whole crazyness between me and Layla. Needless to say, this all started because she did not have very good sportsmanship. Believe me, I hate to lose, but that doesn't mean you attack someone when they're not looking to feel better about yourself! Now, it's true, I got a little upset (with the help of Cryme Time's instigation) and maybe even made matters worse, but I am glad we were eventually given a chance at a fair fight. And, even though she started the match very aggressively, I was very excited to take my first win on SmackDown.
However, despite that we were given a match, it seems that Layla still hasn't let this all go. Did you see her try to mow me down after our match?? This clearly isn't over, and I am sure her win over Women's Champion Melina the following week (with a little help from Michelle) didn't help her ego. Luckily, we have yet another tag match this Friday on SmackDown, so hopefully both Melina and I can settle any unfinished business with her!

Other than that, I have just been training, exercising, spending time with family, and trying to keep up a healthy lifestyle! I recently met and visited the ranch of Dr. Robert Young, a very well known nutritionist who introduced us to a new nutritional philosophy... check out his book "The PH Miracle" or visit his website www.PHmiracleLiving.com I have definitely experienced results!
Also, last weekend Melina and I went for an awesome workout in Los Angeles called the Sand Hill Park. And that's just what it is.... a HUGE hill of sand, created for the sole purpose of climbing, walking, or running it over and over and over. We were beat! But got an amazing workout. Always try to look for workouts outside the norm (the gym). Try to run outside, find a good place to hike, or if you don't live in an "outdoors" location, take a class in something! It helps keep working out fun and different. Your body stops responding to the same workouts over and over!
That's all I got for now... remember, you can also keep in touch using Twitter
First, I wanted to tell everyone that the January 2009 issue of Muscle & Fitness Magazine is finally out! It features myself, Michelle McCool, and Maryse. The pictures are suuuuper hot, so be sure to pick up your copy!!
Next, many of you have been asking me a similar question, which is something along the lines of, "When the heck are you going to wrestle??"
As you may know I have been SmackDown's backstage interviewer since my debut after the Diva Search. Now don't get me wrong, I do love getting the scoop backstage from our Superstars... but a while back there was something inside of me that sparked... then, slowly, it turned into a small flame... and now I can say that there is a fire inside of me that is burning for competition. I only hinted to Vickie Guerrero that I wanted a chance to compete in the ring, and I was laughed at. I know it won't be easy. From being around the Superstars and Divas I know that it will take a lot of dedication to training and hard work, but all I am looking for is the opportunity to compete, and to learn.
So, my answer to you is "Hopefully, soon" but I will need to earn my opportunity just like everyone else has.
Thanks for your inquiring minds, and your continued support. ;-)

Hello WWE Universe!!
This is my first blog post, and definitely not my last! First, thank you for welcoming me to the Universe... my arrival here was way past due. Obviously, my goal is to now keep you posted with blogs on important D-EVE-A matters. As you know, the WWE travels the world year round, but with your help, I will keep the blogs-a-coming! I was pretty terrible at keeping a diary growing up (probably because I was the only one who would read it). So, if you promise to read my blogs, I promise this will go much better :-)
