    THE QUEST FOR HUMAN RIGHTS

Tuesday, June 23, 2009, 03:10 PM EST [General]

Just like all of you I'm appauled at the IRANIAN governments blaintent treatment of the protesters voicing their feelings about their Presidential election. All they're asking for is the basic HUMAN RIGHT to have representative leadership chosen by the people and free of corruption and taint. What's going on right now is both HORRIFIC and EVIL, the out and out murder of the 26 year old IRANIAN women NEDA is an outragous example of the tyranical hypocracy that has had a tight grip over the IRANIAN people for decades. I applaud the brave people who fight for the future by filming the events as they transpire even under the constant threat of arrest, torture and even death to make sure the world knows what's happening and also the ISP's their in the country for risking the same kind of retaliation for placing the images on the web for all to see.

I call on all of us in the WWE UNIVERSE to DEMAND that the UNITED NATIONS become involved and end this atrocity once and for all. For those in the U.S.A send an e-mail to PRESIDENT OBAMA (www.whitehouse.gov) and for those in other countries contact your leaders and strongly voice your feelings about this VERY IMPORTANT HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUE.

    REPETITION

Friday, June 19, 2009, 02:29 PM EST [General]

It's seems the various powers that be wrestling in their constant quest to outdo each other are practicly doing the same type of matches and now their doing practicly the same type of pay-per-views. First off at WRESTLEMANIA CARLITO and PRIMO COLON had a tag team title unification match against JOHN MORRISON and THE MIZ a few weeks before TEAM 3D and BEER MONEY had their match at LOCKDOWN. WWE is now planning on having a pay-per-view similer to LOCKDOWN in which all matches will be contested in the steel cage. My main point is that in recent years there's been a serious lack in originality and that could be very dangerous. There comes a time when new blood is needed in the creative process in the profession as a whole. I welcome your comments and ideas.

    RANDOM THOUGHTS

Tuesday, June 16, 2009, 03:52 PM EST [General]

I agree 100% with C M PUNK'S decision to cash in his MONEY IN THE BANK contract at EXTREME RULES after all that's why he's in this profession to begin with. I think RAW will be very interesting now that DONALD TRUMP is in charge. The tag team tournament that TEAM 3D had in TNA will do tremendous things for tag team wrestling and I hope TNA does this again next year. I'm glad to see TRIPLE H back in action. I congradulate TOMMY DREAMER on becoming the ECW CHAMPION.

    THINGS MUST CHANGE

Saturday, March 21, 2009, 03:59 PM EST [General]

With all that has transpired in wrestling over the years things must be changed in the way the in-house buisness is conducted. First of all there should be the type of union that other entertainment fields have. Second there should be the kind of drug testing used by the olympics. Third there should be a mandatory period of downtime in which a wrestler can rest, heal from injuries and spend time with their families and take care of personal affairs. If these were a standard procedure maybe the tradagies that befell CHRIS BENOIT and ANDREW MARTIN could have been avoided. If we don't want to see permanent detrimental harm happen to the entire profession it is imperitive that we the people demand radical changes be made. I welcome all your comments and suggestions.

    WRESTLING IS STILL A SPORT

Tuesday, March 3, 2009, 03:20 PM EST [General]

Though there have been many comments over the years saying different let there be no mistake that for all of it's neuonces professional wrestling is STILL A SPORT.  It still takes years of intense training in various areas as well as a state license(same as boxers) before you can get a tryout in an independent promotion. Yes it's true that all the moves are practisted before hand but that's neccsasary in order to prevent the wresrlers from getting injured during their performance in the ring. Also we must not forget that wrestlers must keep in peak psysical condition and be able to absorb an equal share of wear and tear on their bodies from the types of moves their trained to do in the ring. There are many people out there that have many misconceptions about this profession and it is up to us as fans to set the record strait from time to time.
