    Recent Events And Upcoming PPV

Thursday, May 14, 2009, 11:49 PM EST [General]

Hello everyone, its been awhile since i was last on here due to the fact that i have been taking a very long and stressful graphics course.

Now firstly i would like to talk about the last ppv Backlash Now i got confused with the whole thing because what was the point having Triple H retain the WWE CHAMPIONSHIP at Wrestlemania, But yet drop the title to Orton at Backlash, My guess is that HHH moaned about lossing the title at wrestlemania, and there for got what he wanted.

Then we had John Cena win the World Heavyweight Championship, Now what was the point in that, in olny to have him Drop the title to Edge at Backlash, I do not see a point to it at all, The world titles have been changing hands at every PPV and its stupid if you ask me, i dont see no point to it at all.

Something i was happy about though was Christian winning the ECW Championship, it proved that the Creative team and VINCE did not have a grudge against Christian for Jumping ship to TNA.

Then it brings me to Santino/a Marella, i think this is quite a funny thing to watch, yes we all know its Santino but wwe will do anything these Days to bring Ratings in...i would not be suprised if Edge did drop the title to Hardy, Since he is the biggest baby face on Smackdown, Plus Smackdown is putting on better shows than Raw anyway.

Now im going to talk about Judgment Day now.

I still dont see any Divas/Womesn Championships been defended, Witch brings me to ask. Has the Divas Title ever been defened on a PPV ? If it has it has only been done once, And the womens title has not been defened since the Royal Rumble, whats the point of having a Divas/Womens title when they are rarely defened on Raw or Smackdown, and when they are defened its about a 2/3 minute squash match.

Moving on froms the sexy Divas...

Randy Orton Vs Batista (WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH)

This will be a hell of a match and there is no doubt about it that Randy Orton will Retain the Title, Batista should not even be in The Main event to begin with, he has done nothing to deserve, ok he beat Big Show, Big whoop, there is no point to this match, its clear that Batista is going to Turn heel (He wants to be a heel) and i could see him join Legacy but im not to sure about that yet, lets just see how the next few weeks go on. Winner - Randy Orton

Edge Vs Jeff Hardy (World Championship Match)

Now this match i would enjoy because i am a big Jeff Hardy Fan, Now with the way the WWE have been passing the world title around like it was a peace of meat, i can see Edge retaining, But Hardy is the crowd Favourite to win this match, But people must also be wondering if Hardy has signed a new contract with the WWE because i have not heard any updates on that situation. if Hardy wins then you know he has signed a new contract, but dont count edge out just yet, you know what the WWE does, they say they do the best by the fans and give the fans what they want yet they dont other wise Jeff would still be Champion. Winner - Jeff Hardy

Christian Vs Jack Swagger (ECW Championship)

First of all i was expecting this match to turn into a triple threat match with Tommy Dreamer, with the storyline that if he does not win the ECW title then he will retire, but when that date comes it is also the end of his WWE contract weather or not he will become the new GM i dont know, Anyway back to the match...Im expecting Christian to retain the Gold in this match up, i thought the both of them had a great match at backlash, now i dont like Swagger but you can not deniy his in-ring ability, Chrstian made what i would call a bad return, he should have returnd to Smackdown or even Raw, why take a big star and put him in the worst of the three brands, i mean come on ECW gets the lowest rating iv ever seen, Even TNA can beat them for god sake...Winner - Christian.

Thats all for now folks i will be back with my thought on the PPV ont the Monday

Promoter Speaks About Ashley Massaro No-Showing His Convention

Thursday, October 16, 2008, 09:01 AM EST [General]

Former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro no-showed a scheduled appeared at the Monroe, NJ Legends of the Ring convention over the weekend. Wrestling Ink, the vendor bringing her in, issued the following apology to fans who attended:

On behalf of myself and my company I would like to apologize to all the fans that anticipated seeing Ashley. As you all know, she pulled another one of her now classic no shows. If some of you weren't aware Ashley was to appear late saturday night in Atlantic City with her agent and 3 other Playboy playmates. Her agent and the 3 playmates all showed and stayed in the Crowne Plaza, being inconvenienced because they had to sacrifice for the quote on quote wrestling star. As I'm writing this Ashley has still not returned a phone call to myself or her agent stating why she decided to not get on the plane Friday night. I urge fans and other promoters to not support her in the future and make her realize that it is a privilege to be hired to come to conventions not a right she has coming to her."

Jim Ross Reveals Why Lance Cade Was Released From WWE

Thursday, October 16, 2008, 08:44 AM EST [General]

In Jim Ross' latest blog, he somewhat explains why Lance Cade was abruptly let go from WWE this week. According to Ross, it was a disciplinary measure following a bad case of judgment, with concluded with an incident on an airplane.

His release from the company was not due to his performance, most notably, in a tag match with DX on Raw a few weeks ago. Ross wrote: "The story that I have read on many internet sites about the reason for Cade's sudden dismissal isn't accurate. Many punhdits speculate that Cade was dismissed because of a bad performance in a recent TV bout against DX on Raw which is absolutely untrue. Lance's dismissal had zero to do with his in ring performances or his lack of ability." In case you missed it, there was a spot at the end of the match in which Shawn Michaels delivered the SuperKick to Cade. He was supposed to stand wobbly on his feet to run into a Pedigree from Triple H, but fell down instead. Audibly, Triple H told him to get up so he could deliver the move.

Ross doesn't go into detail, only to note that Cade made a bad decision. Following Cade's bad case of judgment, he ended up having a seizure on the plane, which required emergency medical care. Luckily for Cade, Lilian Garcia was on the same flight and helped him get taken to the hospital. Doctors performed a number of tests on him and determined that there was nothing seriously wrong with him.

Following the incident, Ross felt that WWE had no choice but to let Cade go. Ross appears to imply that the seizure was due to Cade's "bad judgment."

Ross wrote: "Lance Cade was dismissed from the WWE because, like many humans, he made a major league mistake while utilizing bad judgment that cost him his job. This included Lance having a seizure on an airplane and having to have emergency medial care. Luckily, Lilian Garcia was on the same flight and was instrumental in helping Lance get taken to a hospital where a battery of tests were run that luckily determined that there was nothing seriously wrong with the young man such as a brain tumor, etc.

Everyone makes mistakes, Lord knows I have made plenty in my career, but in this day and time some mistakes just simply can't be condoned. To some fans, Lance Cade will likely still be perceived as the victim in this matter and his punishment too harsh.

Under the circumstances of the situation, I don't know what other decision the WWE could have made. I'm just relieved that it wasn't me in my former role that would have had to address this matter. I really like this kid and hope that he continues to follow his dreams. Second chances are not foreign in the wrestling business so perhaps that could be in Lance's future but that's just a personal observation."

Ross also talks about Stacy Keibler in Maxim, Pacman Jones' latest incident, SmackDown doing well in the ratings last week, Bobby Lashley's upcoming MMA debut, and more. He also had this to say regarding "bad comedy" on wrestling shows: "Is it just me or is there any thing worse on TV than seeing badly performed comedy on a wrestling show? I personally can deal with bad wrestling matches if the individuals are trying better than watching untrained wrestlers attempt to be comedic performers and fail."
