WWE has released several wrestlers who were under a developmental contract
over in Tampa at Florida Championship Wrestling this week to save money.
This is standard practice for WWE as the company usually signs a bunch of
guys who think they have potential and then depending on their evaluation -
so to speak - have their destiny decided.

The pay-per-view buy floating around for WrestleMania is 995,000, down
from last year's WrestleMania 24 buyrate which slightly exceeded the one
million buys. The 995,000 figure includes the worldwide partners with nearly
600,000 buys coming from the United States. While the number is obviously
less than last year's, WWE is said to be happy with it considering the
nature of the economy right now.

We have received the Night of Champions 2009 pay-per-view poster featuring
Edge holding his World Heavyweight title on his shoulder. All WWE titles

It didn't take long for Matt Striker to pop up on a gay-related website
after his nude pictures were leaked online. GayWired.com has the story with
the headline, "WWE Star Matt Striker Shows His Harder Side" and the story is
one of the top headlines on the front page of the website. "Despite the
WWE's apparent attempts to clean up its act, there has been no response as
yet in support or opposition to the Striker stripping from the company, and
word has it that nudity isn't all that uncommon with Striker," the story
adds. I think it is safe to say that management isn't doing cartwheels over
the leaks but it's not known if Striker will face any backlash over this.

Monday Night RAW did a 3.4 rating off hours 3.23 and 3.62 yesterday. That
was up 0.2 from last week's much-hyped show from the STAPLES Center in Los
