The 26 year old Maryse returned to WWE television Monday on RAW attacking
Melina after an absence of four months. She last appeared on WWE TV at the
Night of Champions pay-per-view in July where she lost the Divas
championship to Mickie James. After the pay-per-view she underwent knee
surgery to correct a dislocated kneecap she suffered at the end of last
year. Dr Jeffrey Dugas at the Alabama Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center
performed the successful surgery.

DETAILS ON THE NEXT TRIBUTE TO THE TROOPS
MBC and WWE issued a press release yesterday announcing the annual Tribute
to the Troops show which will be taped from a location in Iraq in the
beginning of December. The show will air on NBC on Saturday, December 19 at
9PM EST and just like last year it will only be an hour-long show. In the
past a whole two hour broadcast was taped which aired instead of RAW and
Smackdown but since moving it to NBC only a one hour show is being produced.
This is the seventh Tribute show with six of them being taped in Iraq and
one in Afghanistan. The first one was held in 2003. The exact date and
location of tapings will not be revealed due to security issues and the WWE
Superstars and Divas will be visiting several Forward Operating Bases during
their tour to spread some holiday cheer. The trip is completely voluntary
and no one on the roster is forced to make it to the war-thorn countries
they visit. The crew who will go over to Iraq will leave right after RAW on
November 30.

JERICHO GETS ANGRY AT OLD MAN AFTER SMACKDOWN GOES OFF THE AIR
Usually it's Shawn Michaels and Triple H who steal the show after cameras
stop rolling after television tapings but this week it was one half of the
undisputed tag team champions, Chris Jericho, who took the spotlight after
Smackdown finished taping on Tuesday. Jericho started insulting the fans and
then decided to get out of the ring and go in a war of words with an elderly
guy who was taunting him at ringside. "You want to hit me old man? I eat
guys like you for breakfast," Jericho said as fans burst out laughing even
more. Jericho then told security to escort the old guy out of the arena for
using profanity and told him that he should be ashamed of himself as he's
supposed to set an example for the generation of fans who were in the arena.
