Well I have not wanted to blog about me losing the ECW Title but I will. I was very happy with my Night Of Champions Match even though I lost. Hey if you are into the entire Rocky movie series, the first movie which won an Academy Award. Rocky lost. Representing ECW as Champion meant the world to me. Every media interview, apperance and match I did as champion I took with great honor and pride. I didn't have a day off but loved every second of it. I couldn't have been prouder to know I accomplished what I set my goal to be. I am happy that I got to wrestle my friend Christian and he truly was the better man. As a competitor he brings the best out of me.

I was even happier with the rematch, not so much the outcome but for what it accomplished. It showed that the WWE Universe still holds the Original ECW with so much respect and loves a taste of the past glory and what ECW truly represents. I am so sore today and feel like I was in a war. This is the same feeling I had in the original ECW and loved how the fans live reacted and all the positive feedback I received from the match. I did suffer an injury when Christian hit me with a crutch and the butterfly screw went right into my tricep(I will post the pictures soon) I can barely lift my arm and have a nice puncture wound. My knuckles, fingers, back, eye and head are all bruised bad. I truly was in one hell of a fight.

I want to thanks Christian for stepping up his game and if anyone should represent ECW it should be him. He has inspired me to better myself. He said losing the ECW title made him more focused on getting it back. Well I am training even harder to do the same. I am not out of the title picture. This is just the begining.

In closing, being ECW Champion was a dream come true and I can't thank everyone enough for letting me live it and thanks for all the support. Without you there is no me.

I will try my best to put into words just how much returning to Philadelphia as ECW Champion means to me. I was born and raised in New York, but Tommy Dreamer's career was born in Philly. I remember the first time trying to find the ECW Arena driving around Philly for about an hour lost with Taz. We saw the old Vet,the Rocky Statue, the Spectrum. Where the hell was this ECW Arena it had to be some huge building was are thoughts. Well after asking a police officer he pointed out that the bingo hall next to Forman mills store, may be it. Sure enough it was and my love for Philadelphia began.

My career grew week to week and the fans embraced me and the ride has been awesome. I feel like a modern day Rocky Balboa( Philadelphia's other favorite son haha) Hell my greatest accomplishment in my life is my children and I met their mother in Philadelphia

My greatest memories and acts of fulfillment in my lfe occurred there. Being the first man to kick out of Jimmy Snuka's splash,The Sandman blinding and later the ten lashes Singapore canning Thank You Sir May I have Another, piledriving Beulah, pinning Raven, Brian Lee chokeslamming me from every highest point in the ECW building, throwing Brian Lee off the scaffold in the only ever High Incident Match, the first ever wrestling pregnancy angle as well as the first ever girl kissing girl on tv ever and I took them both cause I was hardcore, winning my first ECW title, having a ten bell salute for my grandfathers passing. The emotion of Barley Legal were all staples in my career.

As a wrestling fan I witnessed so many amazing moments in Philadelphia and things that were before there time. Eddie Guerreros matches with anyone, Rey Misterio vs Physcosis, Too Cold Scorpios amazing moves, any RVD match, Sabu, Terry Funk, Flaming Tables, and the list goes on and on.

I am gonna combine all of those emotions and thoughts and try to put them into perspective this Sunday at the Night of Champions. As a fan I am gonna try my hardest to put on a great match for all to enjoy. As for my career I am gonna lace up my same pair of boots that I wore when Original ECW was at the ECW arena and represent the old and the new ECW with pride and honor. I hopefully will leave the arena as Champion and say "Yo Beulah we did it" and yes I will celebrate with a cheesesteak at Tony Lukes thanks for the reminder Lego head Washington.

Well it is day ten of my eighteen day tour. I am in Japan for a second show live at the Budokan. The shows have been awesome and the WWE Universe has been even more passionate then ever and has truly inspired all the WWE Superstars to take it to a higher competitive level.

The reactions and crowd responses really show how much appreciation the fans have for just how hard the WWE Superstars work. If I had to live any where else in the world Japan is where I would be. I love the food and the entire culture. The people flock to the hotels and wait for any interaction with the Superstars. They always lend a hand with any information requested and just really go out of their way for us.

The many hours of plane travel all seem worth it, the moment you walk thru the curtain. To all the Japanese Universe I salute you. It is off to Manilla tomorrow and then to Florida TV. I don't look forward to the 27 hour plane ride to get home but it will be worth it when I step out on the stage in Miami for ECW television.

I just have to go on record and say we did it. I have thank each and every person from the WWE Universe. Your never ending support got me through the most trying time in my life. This was my Oscar, Game seven and Superbowl all wrapped up into one and it became my greatest accomplishment ever.

I can not tell you how many text messages, phone calls and emails I have gotten. The reaction from the WWE Superstars and the amazing WWE staff and production crew that evening was overwhelming. It was such an emotional night and every day is a blessing. To have my name in The New York Daily News as a headline and everyone saying hey Champ or congrats Champ is like reliving the moment all over again every time I hear it.

I would like to take this time to thank some people specifically:

To each and every wrestler that bled, sweat and bumped to pave the way for me. I have been hooked since I was nine years old and still a huge fan. From Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, The Road Warriors to the  Legendary Brooklyn Brawler. You all molded my mind and set me on my path.

To Dusty Rhodes. You are the reason I was hooked. You made me belive in my dream. You are my Babe Ruth,Marlon Brando and Joe Montana all wrapped into one.

To Terry Funk. My hardcore mentor. You gave me the greatest advice ever. Your hard work and passion for the business is inspiring.

To WWE Hall of Famer Johnny Rodz. Thanks for training me and giving me the fundamentals for this amazing career.

To Paul Heyman. You gave me the platform to be me and for taking a chance on a good looking kid from Yonkers. You taught me things about this buisness and took me into the studio when that was taboo. Thanks for the lessons.

To Beulah McGillicutty. You stuck by me through it all. I appreciate your dedication to are family.

To Christian. Thanks for being a great champion and giving me the title opportunity.

To Jack Swagger for being a great heel. Your constant jabs at me and wanting everyone to know how good you are have made you my perfect opponent. People love watching me pin you.

Speaking of opponents a special thanks to Raven for showing me that persitance pays off in the end.

To Mick Foley. Your hardcore passion and mind made me want to be better. You proved that someone with and a$$ bigger than mine can be World Champ. Seriously you did alot for me and I will never forget it

Speaking of giant a$$es to the Dudley Boys. Your friendship and constant stealing of the shows is still enjoyable to watch. Wow I just though about Mick, Dudleys and I are all champions at once. The word Heavyweight Champion really applies.

To Danny Davis(OVW) who made me feel like a rookie every Wed. You made me want to better myself when I was down about my career.

To Every ECW Original especially RVD, Sabu, Sandman, Stevie Richards, Balls Mahoney, Danny Doring, crazy Little Guido, Francine, Shane Douglas, Jack Victory, CW Anderson and Sign Guy. I wish we were all together enjoying the road again.

To Joey Styles for calling every ECW match and for being the voice of ECW. I wish I could have heard Oh MY GOD Tommy Dreamer has done it. Though I thought Striker and Josh did a great job

To Taz. My original riding partner. Your misery made for some awesome times.

To all my riding partners. Especially Edge, John Cena,Matt Striker,Hornswoggle, Justin Roberts,Nunzio,Christian, Stevie, Balls, Kelly Kelly, Candice, Victoria. You made the long trips fun.

To Jim Ross, Johnny Ace and Shane McMahon. Your support of the ECW Brand and myself means the world to me.

To My family past and present my dad and grandfather watching from the best seats and being annoyed by Louie Spicolli and having to listen to Test heckle me. My Mom, sister and her family, Grandmother and Aunts and Uncles You all have been there since match one in Gleasons New York and all are my number one fans. Original Thought

Friday, May 22, 2009, 11:38 PM EST [General]

My goal of winning the ECW Title before June 6, 2009, has made me quite the internet darling. I would like to do something that I normally don't do. I am going to address different internet rumors that have been going around for quite sometime. Just like in high school rumors can be hurtful as well as make people feel insecure about their lives so here we go.

1.Tommy Dreamer will be retiring after his contract expires.

When I first made my speech I never said the words retire. Go back and replay it if you want, the words never came out of my mouth. I am not Brett Farve, Floyd Mayweather or my mentor Terry Funk. When I say the words retire, I am gone for good. No comebacks, no matches just gonna sit back and relax. I am way to young to call it quits. Plus with the economy the way it is I will have to be wrestling somewhere when I am deep into my seventies.

2.WWE and Tommy Dreamer have come to terms with a new contract.

WWE offered me a new contract about a month before I made my speech. WWE offered me a three year deal which was great. I have no problems with WWE. I spoke to Vince McMahon and told him my feelings and career aspirations and he fully supported them. I am a man that has to set goals and is responsible for my actions. I am not one to hang around and collect a paycheck. I did this to prove something to the fans and to myself.

3.Tommy Dreamer will be going to Raw or Smackdown after his contract expires as a loop hole to his speech.

I love wrestling on both of those shows whenever possible but to put it very bluntly. If I don't accomplish my goal I am gone from WWE, just like I said.

    4. Tommy Dreamer will be going to TNA

I have close relationships with many of their wrestlers. I have nothing but great things to say about Dixie Carter. I have tons of respect for Jeff Jarrett for what he did in WWE as well as for taking a risk in starting your own company (been there it is so hard). I watch every week because I am a huge wrestling fan and enjoy the show. I am just seeing my journey to the end. Good or bad.

5.Tommy Dreamer will be new ECW GM

I think Tiffany does a great job. She is impartial which I can't be in that postion and she looks so much better than me in a skirt. I do not want a non wrestling role if things don't work out after June 6. I am all in as they say in poker. Win and I accomplish my dream. Lose and my dream is over

I wish some internet rumors could start about me like this one I am making up.

Recently backstage Tiffany and Mickie James got into a verbal altercation and then an actual fist fight because they both have secret crushes on Tommy Dreamer. Pass it along I think this one is true. God I hope so
