Wow I can't believe that summer is gone and I haven't posted a blog in a month. The problem I have is I am only home on a limited basis. I like to blog when I am by myself and can reflect on what I have to say, as well as I can only do it from a home computer, hence the dilema. Trying to spend as much time when I am at home with kids, usually results in no free time. I have a moment now so I will start by giving a few reflections over the past month.
Summerslam was an awesome week. Walking the red carpet was very over rated, but still cool to do. Hanging out in LA is always a good time. Watching John Cena bounce the ball when he threw it at the Dodger game was funny. Kudos to WWE for fan axcess was awesome. It was my favorite part of the entire week. I love hanging with the WWE Universe and getting all of their feedback of the constant goings on in WWE. I wish I was schedualed in for more apperances to accomdate all the people that came out. Summerslam was a great show. It was also great to see so many celebrities come out and show how much they love our product. I lost count of how many celebs you would bump into backstage.
I am pissed off that Jeff Hardy is gone. I consider him a friend and an amazing performer. I am sure he will be back in WWE but I wish him the best of luck with his own tv show.
I am so happy and was as shocked as everyone that The Undertaker returned at Summerslam. to quote JR "business is gonna pick up" now that the Deadman has returned.
I was legit injured when Koslov attacked me during the interview. He closelined me and hit me in the ear, popping my eardrum( which suks when you have to fly). I know Josh Mathews and Matt Striker said I had a concussion, but I wasn't medically cleared.
I have also had some minor injuries. I hyper extended my knee in San Juan which limited my mobility but thanks to alot of tape I was able to wrestle the next 4 nights and had a great tour. I messed up my wrist punching Koslov in his big head. I also messed up my elbow on Ezekial Jackson's finishing move. I will put up a picture soon.
I would personally like to thank the Chicago Whitesox as well as AJ Pierzynski for a great day. September 9 was WWE day at the park. You can see photos on this website. I presented AJ with a replica ECW title and I was supposed to throw out the first pitch but due to my knee, wrist and elbow injury. I let my good buddy Hornswoggle do it and he threw a perfect strike (no bounce Mr Cena). We hung out in a luxury suite, signed autographs and threw out wiffle balls to the crowd and sang take me out to the ball game during the 7th inning stretch. It was awkward when former ECW GM Armando Estrada and current GM were in the same suite together.(He was Matt Strikers guest) The only problem of the day was they kept on showing ECW GM Tiffany throughout the game. She was stealing all my big screen time, but we all had a blast. The game went 14 innings and the phenomal AJ had the game winning hit sending the crowd home happy. Having the ECW title was a boost that the team needed. It sure helped my career as well.
I am up to date and look forward to going to Canada.
