Well, its been a zany couple of weeks in WWE, hasn't it? Kinda makes me feel like gods of the WWE cosmos have been scrambling around a bit. First, what the h..e..double hockey sticks are TWO title belts doing on Smackdown? And how the blazes did Edge get yanked into this weird menage a ..well heck - how many parties are now involved? We have SD's Clintonesque couple, we have the Legacy & RKO, we have the entire McMahon conglomerate, complete with HHH, who suddenly rediscovered he was married to Stephanie and we almost had Kane (thanks for calling in UT, Big Red.  His reply text: "O Brother, where art thou?"). I mean beating Jamie Noble is nice. Awww..he beat up on the guy everyone periodically forgets about.  How sweet. How bloody frustrating!! Kane should be part of this!! Hello the void! The man deserves a big time feud and ...a...BELT.  Ya almost had him in one.  Ya almost had a great storyline for him.  Ya almost gave him a good match at WM.  The fans were almost happy.  So, naturally, that means...what? Oh right...scrap the whole thing and re-consign Kane to the LOO (Land of Obscurity).  Sigh.  (FYI... I'd be thrilled to be proven wrong!)

While I'm on the subject of almost's...can ya stop giving Natalya a Tyson Kidd and a set of keys?! The woman is NOT a valet! Does the phrase "fun to watch" make any vague bells start to tinkle? I don't care whether she's taking Eve to the Hart School of Face the Music or making McCopycat look like an even better wrestler - get the woman between the d**n ropes!!! Natalya ought to be the Beth Pheonix of Smackdown, minus the Italian attache case, of course. And since I've brought up McCool (again), I've figured out her problem.  She doesn't know who the H**l she is as a heel.  She doesn't even know why she's a heel. ("Uummm, like I think it has something to do with losing MY belt, JR").  Okay, 1) the last time I checked, the belt said "Divas" not "McCools"  2) we know why she's a heel.  She's a heel because she was as exciting as re-heated cafeteria spinach as a face.  Maryse is the sexy heel.  Natalya is the kick a$$ technical wrestler heel, or would be if we could find her (flashlight, anyone? Or perhaps Jack Sparrow's compass?).  Michelle is simply perpetually PMSing.  Look, I appreciate the identity crisis, sweetheart, but could ya figure it out on sabbatical in the Himalayas and not make us all suffer through it with you? (P.S. Don't borrow John Morrison's coat when you go; the yaks will be jealous). 

And before I make ya'll think I'm the one PMSing, let me get on to happier topics:...have the gods listened? Is there really an MVP/ Shelton Benjamin feud gliding toward us on gilded wings from the horizon? Oh sing praise and pass the Hallelujah! Second to lastly, I need to travel all the way back to SD 2/6 because that Tag Team match was something extra special.  From a wrestling standpoint, the match was just lovely - fast paced..all the guys hitting right on (aside to Kozlov: ask Edge for some tutoring on Snake Eyes!!), but beyond that, each one of them made the most of the comedic opportunities (e.g. HHH to UT "You want him?" Response "I want him" + HHH's tag & grin = priceless.  Big Show to Edge (after the almost Pedigree (and p.s. what an AWEsome way to segue into that move from the spear)) "That was close!" = hilarious.  Edge's first punch to Taker...followed by a classic Jack Sparrow-esque "I didn't mean it ..I didn't mean it" = rotflmao.  Edge's selling of Big Show's right (roll of eyes +keel over = brilliant) )... just a tremendous job in that match by all concerned.  Great job, guys.  That one gets four, count 'em, FOUR Tips of Stetson.  Never done that before. Lastly, minor props to the cameraman who caught the water spit right in front of the WM 25 sign. Sweet!.  That's dvd footage 4 sure.
