I agree with you, the fact that Triple H may be the most effective Heel in wrestling history really works against him when his character is a babyface. He's so much better as a heel but it doesn't mean he's a terrible face. Once his character became "The Game" it officially told me that this guy was the King of all A-holes among wrestlers. So when he's a babyface it creates a feeling of like "Why is he a good guy?" But he has a good sense of humor and connects well with the crowd so he can make it work. It's not in his character's DNA to be away from the title picture for too long and that does effect him negatively. He should definitely not overstay his welcome but he's at the height of his popularity right now so he's not done just yet. Randy Orton is still on the upswing though so no worries.
