Hey guys, i dont plan on talking much about Cyber Sunday as i would like to talk about The World Heavyweight Championship!
Last night's show for me was average nothing spectacular but it was ok, i really enjoyed Undertaker and Big Show's contest, i thought it was very good and Taker sold like hell and it was good to see the choke back!
Triple H and Jeff Hardy was good, not as good as No Mercy, however Jeff losing again and being pinned cleanely didn't do him any good and for me didnt do Triple H any good either, surely Triple H should have let Hardy at least get a DQ win or something over him or has Triple H's ego got the better of him again?.
Now the main event, i thought the crowd in this match bombed, it seemed so quiet during the contest, maybe it was because everyone thought Jericho would retain (including me),Now for me Batista winning the title was the wrong move by WWE, i do not want to see Batista with the title at all at the moment, let him wait a little while longer.
The reason i have for my opinion's here is that The World Championship is being treated so badly by management, yes it was the title that was on the shows WWE rivaled with in the past but surely they must start giving the belt credibility, for me that title has changed hands so many times in quick successions in the last year or so, CM Punk had the title for a month and half, Chris Jericho who is the baddest heel on the WWE roster at the moment is given 1 month as champion, c'mon thats a disgrace Jericho has worked his butt off all summer with HBK, and he is given a 1 month reign, that makes him look extremely weak.
The last time for me The World Title looked creditible was when Triple H had it during his Evolution days and thats a long time.
Ric Flair, Bret Hart, Hul Hogan, Sting and many many more legends have held that title with pride and i am just saddened that WWE just keep changing title holders in quick succession.
As always guys i would really like your opinions on this, or is it just me who thinks this? or is their any folk out here who agree with me?- give me your opinions on WWE UNIVERSE or send me an email to Sevillecfc@aol.com
Hey Guys and welcome to my Cyber Sunday prediction column, whilst looking at the card for the PPV i really do feel that this event will deliver and we could very well be in for an evening of really good wrestling.
I am going to start off with my thoughts on The WWE Title match- i have a feeling that the public will go for Jeff Hardy to battle TripleH,however i would like to see a triple threat match but i dont see that happening, anyway after the beatdown Triple H got on Smackdown i am very sure he will overcome the odds and walk out still WWE Champion, now i don't see him pinning Jeff Hardy at 2 consecutive PPV's so i am going to go with Kozlov interfering and the match ending in a disqualification or a No Contest.
Prediction: Jeff Hardy wins by DQ.
I will go on to dicuss The World Heavyweight Title match between Chris Jericho and Batista next, now this match will be good, i also believe the public will vote in Steve Austin as special referee for the 2nd year running at Cyber Sunday. It's too early for Jericho to lose the title so i am going to go with Chris Jericho retaining the title with a little help from Randy Orton.
Prediction: Chris Jericho retains Title.
Undetaker v Big Show, should be a slobberknocker as Jr would say, i would like to see an I Quit match here but i think the public will vote for the Knockout match, Tonight The Undertaker will get revenge on The Big Show, and Undertaker will walk out the victor in this contest.
Prediction: The Undertaker
Matt Hardy will also defend The ECW Title at this PPV and i am praying it will be against Evan Bourne, infact their is no doubt that it will be Evan Bourne, i anticipate a very fast paced match between the two, i have a feeling that these guys will have good chemistry together,as far as my prediction goes, Matt Hardy will get the victroy over Evan Bourne and things may just hot up between the two in the coming weeks on ECW.
Prediction: Matt Hardy retains Title
Rey Mysterio will battle Kane at Cyber Sunday also, i did like their match at No Mercy apart from the ending of the match, i expect tonight the public will vote in a No DQ match here, so i see a lot of props being used in this match, Rey hasn't pinned Kane yet since this fued has started and i think the fued will end tonight with Rey Mysterio getting the all important win over the Big Red Machine
Prediction: Rey Mysterio
Tonight their is no doubt that Santino Marella will defend The IC Title against The Honky Tonk Man- this will be a very quick match and i am going to go all out and say that Honky Tonk man will win The IC title tonight then drop the belt tommorrow night on Raw!
Prediction: Honky Tonk Man (New Intercontinental Champion)
Tonight i believe that Priceless will defend their World Tag Team Titles against CM Punk and Kofi Kingston- i see a good match here and i am predicting tonight new World Tag Team Champions will be crowned.
Prediction: CM Punk and Kofi Kingston (New World Tag Champs)
I am also looking foward to the Halloween costume contest!, should be great seeing all these hot diva's in the ring together- not sure who to pick here but i am gonna say Maryse!
Prediction: Maryse
And finally i expect Shelton Benjamin to battle R-Truth for the US Title. both men should actually be on the actual PPV anyway instead of wrestling before the show goes live on TV, that is why i do not see any title change on this one, they will keep a title change for either Smackdown or on tv at a PPV.
Prediction: Shelton Benjamin
Well guys thats my thoughts on tonights event, as always i would like your thoughts on my predictions, by either contacting me via WWE Universe or send me an email to Sevillecfc@aol.com

Hey Guys and welcome to another Smackdown Review- last night's show was off the charts from start to finish-everything on the show for me ran superbly and i'll now get into it with my thoughts.
Last night the show kicked off with WWE Champion Triple H- I liked this opening segment with the Champion- he looked as if he was pissed off last night and he was- he then went on to bash Vicki Guerrerro calling her a hag lol and so on and he says he doesn't like being told what to do- Triple H was referring to having to face The Undertaker tonight so he could give The Undertaker a bit of beat down to satisfy Vicki before Big Show and Taker collide on Sunday at Cyber Sunday- anyway after all of this Jeff Hardy and Vladimir Kozlov made appearances to stake their claim that they will be WWE Champion after Sunday's PPV- the segment ended with Triple H making a statement by giving Jeff Hardy a pedigree and the Game stating that on Sunday he will walk in and walk out still WWE Champion- good opening segment and good build up for the title match Sunday.
Next up we had a quick diva's tag match with Maryse and Nataylia v Michelle McCool and Maria- this match was to start the build up to the Michelle/Maria fued- during the match Festus came down to the ring offering Maria a rose with a sentimental orchestra behind him, it was like a scene from an Italian movie or something, very cheesy- anyway Michelle went to tag Maria but she was distracted by Festus and Maryse knocked McCool out and picked up a win for her team- a very funny segment and McCool now seems pretty annoyed with Maria as they had another backstage confrontation after the match with McCool telling Maria that she is going to have to focus more when she is in the ring, this has the making of a decent fued- and i also enjoyed Festus, he was entertaining espcially with the costume he had on.
Next up we had a cracking tag team match with Carlito and Primo who once again were so impressive taking on Chavo and Bam Neely- we all knew the outcome of this match from the beginning with The Champs picking up the win, this match was to continue the angle of Bam and Chavo having problems, all through the match both men were arguing with each other, the match ended when Chavo slapped Bam in the face and Carlito hit the backstabber to pick up the win, another very good match and a decent segment, although i thought Chavo was maybe going to turn face shortly but that appears to be scrapped.
Backstage Primo was flirting up Bria and then later he bumped into 'her' again- but this time the other Bria told him to leave her alone and Primo got all confused as she was up for it earlier!- it was a funny segment and a good way to get the Twin Bella angle sorted out!- after this Khali came up to Primo and Carlito and Ranjin Singh told them to watch the the next segment and they will see how a real man can get a woman- it was hilarious!
Next up we had another entertaining segment, The Khali Kiss Cam!- the segment began with Singh reading out fan letters everyone had sent to Khali, Ranjin read out a letter sent from a guy who says he wanted Khali! lol Khali's facial reaction's were funny and he was getting over with the crowd more and more as the segment went on, a Khali chant even started from the crowd to give the big man the confidence to Kiss this large girl who came into the ring- he then kissed the girl again and the crowd in Texas went crazy- another good segment and another good build up to Khali's face turn which has now happened.
We also had a good tag match featuring Mvp teaming up with Shelton Benjamin to take on R-Truth and Kung-Fu-Naki-Funaki has been repackaged and he came out dressed as the Karate Kid-he also impressed in the ring picking up the surprise victory when he hit MVP with a kick to the face and he got the pinfall- Funaki is finally getting a decent push and i am glad to see it- but poor MVP another loss for the ballin superstar- Gregory Helms kept appearing again all night at the side of our tv screens and once again he made fun of MVP- i would love to see a match between Helms and MVP it should interesting- i also find it funny that the announcers never seem to say anything about Helms when his face appears on the screen.
We also had The Brian Kendrick defeating Super Crazy in a squash nothing more to say on this one- I have to say Ezekial Jackson reminds me of Bad News Brown in the WWE in the late 80's early 90's does anyone remember him?- Ezekial sure as hell reminds me of him anyway.
We also during the course of the night had Triple H and Undertaker having a staredown backstage and also Undertaker giving a small promo backstage-saying that tonight him and Triple H will be going to the darkside but will both men leave?
Then we had our MAIN EVENT- The Undertaker v Triple H- i have to say i havent saw these guys compete against one another on tv for at least 6 and half years- if memory serves me right the last match these guys had was back on Raw in 2002 and if Triple H defeated Taker, Taker had to leave Raw and go to Smackdown and thats exactly what happened and The Undertaker has been on Smackdown ever since!- anyway last night we did get a fantastic 20min contest between the two- it was great seeing both guys competing with each other again, the match was great from start to finish with both men using all their in ring repotoires- this has been one of the best matches i have seen in free tv in a long time i have to say- both men worked their socks off- The match ended with Big Show interfering and taking out Undertaker causing a disqualifcation,Show pummeled Taker with right and lefts in the corner, Triple H who had just recovered from a last ride then got a chair and tried to take out Show but Show didnt feel the chair shot and he took The Game out with a powerful chokeslam and then hitting Taker with a few more chair shots before leaving- this made me now believe that Taker will be in a vengeful mood this Sunday at Cyber Sunday- great build up to the PPV here.
We then came back to Triple H who is just trying to pull himself up after the beating he took from Show and Taker and then Kozlov came out and took Triple H out again-the show ended with Kozlov standing over a fallen Triple H- Triple H certainly took a beating last night- so i am certain he will retain his title this Sunday at the PPV against whomever he faces.
Overall a magnificent Smackdown i would give it a 9/10 and i cant wait for the ppv this Sunday!

Hey Guys- i didn't manage to write about this weeks Raw on Tuesday, as i thought the show stunk from Start to finish- the week before a PPV i would have liked to have seen so much more build up- i thought Raw was just thrown together so quickly on Monday and that is as far as i want to go by speaking about it.
Be back at the weekend with my Smackdown Thoughts!
Hey Guys and welcome to a very quick Smackdown review column, i wasnt able to post over the weekend because of other things that were going on!
Anyway i want to start with the start of Smackdown, The Big Show's promo for me was poor and you could tell the crowd were not into it, it was ok to announce the 3 match stipulations for his match at Cyber Sunday against The Undertaker, by the way i am hoping for an I Quit match, as i would like to hear one of those participants say I Quit as that has never been heard of in regards to these two participants- the only thing that would have made this opening segment good would have been if Chavo Guerrero done something to annoy Show and to let the fans know he is annoyed with the treatment he has been recieving, i think a Chavo face turn is in the reckoning.
We saw a quick but veryy good Tag Team title match between Primo and Carlito and Hawkins and Ryder- i like this team with Carlito and Primo they bring so much to the tag team division, they picked a good win here, i would also like to see Hawkins and Ryder be given more exposure, maybe a lot more mic work, these two guys have got talent but i just dont think they are being used properly.
It looks like Funaki is now Kung-FU Naki- funny stuff!
Mvp and R-Truth put on a solid match, once again Mvp lost his match- i am just awaiting Gregroy Helms to appear to start a fued with MVP- Helms return to Smackdown is due very soon and i think MVP and Helms will put on a really good feud if it happens- my only complaint about this one was that Shelton Benjamin didn't make an appearance to continue his fued with R-Truth- Banjamin is the US champion and he hasnt even won a match in weeks, WWE need to give this guy more in-ring time and also i would hope very quickly this US Title match happens between R-Truth and Benjamin- WWE should give us a match on PPV- i am totally suprised nothing has been announced for these two at Cyber Sunday.
I loved that Maria won the Divas pole match, it's about time she got a push and got involved in the Diva's title picture- Maria v Michelle will be a good match- i also liked their confrontation backstage-McCool for me hasn't been booked good at all by creative since winning the title- so hopefully this fued with Maria can help her elavate herself and bring some much needed credibility to the title.
Is Maria going to go out with Festus?- interesting and humerous stuff.
Next up we had Undertaker in action on Smackdown, good to see the Dead Man finally competing on Smackdown its the first time he has competed on Smackdown since his 'banishment' in the summer- anyway he took on The Great Khali who is ready to definetly turn face which is a good thing, the match ended in a no contest with Big Show interfering, delivering a chokeslam to Taker then Taker got the upper hand hitting Show with a chair-this fued is beginning to get a lot better- and i am looking foward to the battle at Cyber Sunday between the two.
And finally we had a quick main event with Kozlov defeating Jeff Hardy in a decent contest-Kozlov picked up the win and him and Triple H had a stare down as the show went off the air, this ending was a teaser to try and get the fans to vote for HHH to battle Kozlov at Cyber Sunday, i am still not sure what the fans will vote for, ideally we would like a HHH v Hardy match again as you cant see Hardy losing to the game at 2 consecutive ppv's- but i wouldnt mind a triple threat match- anyway was a good ending.
Next week we have HHH v The Undertaker- i am looking foward to it but i guarentee the match will last at least 10mins and it will end with interference.
Overall another decent Smackdown which i would give a 7.5 out of 10.
As also i would like your thoughts on this blog either via WWE Universe or leave me an email at Sevillecfc@aol.com
