Hey guys and welcome to my Raw Review column, Raw started last night on the back of a very good PPV in WWE Backlash and last night was the 1st night that the WWE draft came into fruition.
Randy Orton and The Legacy for me is a fantastic team, the 3 members gel so well together, Randy Orton is our New WWE Champion and i have absolutely no problem with that, the man has been the star of Raw for the past 5 months and indeed it is his time to be champion, last night he cut a magnificent promo slating all the fans and once again announcing that he wiped out all the McMahon family and including in that also was Triple H, and i now suspect Triple H will take some deserved time off and rest his wounds, and i do believe that when Triple H returns he will obviously have unfinished business with Orton, however his main priority will be Batista as he was the man who cost him his championship at Backlash.
Anyway during Orton's promo MVP made his first official Raw appearance as a Raw member, MVP is really over with the crowd and he will fit in really well to the Raw brand, i liked MVP's interaction with Orton and The Legacy, it got me thinking back to a few years ago when Randy Orton won the Intercontinental Title whilst in Evolution and i really do believe that we will see Ted Dibiase step up and win the US title sooner rather than later and that move will evolve Dibiase into a main player as he really has the potential to be something big.
Ill go right on to the match between Orton and MVP all i can say is that it was a great match, these two going at it for the first time brought a lot of freshness to the Raw broadcast, the match ended in a no contest or a DQ win for Orton after Shane McMahon interfered and took out Orton with a kendo stick and an elbow from the top rope and these two will go at it next week on Raw where i believe the McMahon/Orton fued will come to an end, maybe with a shock and by that i mean a possible McMahon heel turn and the 4th member of The Legacy.
Last night i was actually happy with Vicki Guerrero on Raw as our new Raw G.M, i have always been a fan of Smackdown especially when she was on it and last night it felt as if i was watching Smackdown minus The Undertaker, so i am happy that she is Raw General manager, she is still very over with heat from the crowd and now that she is on live television i see that heat getting even more louder, anyway she made a No1 contenders match for Judgment Day pitting Big Show against Batista.
Kofi Kingston defeated The Brian Kendrick in a good match, if this match had been given longer it would have been better, i am a big fan of Kingston and i am looking foward to see where he goes from here, it's a shame on The Brian Kendrick, he was being pushed on Smackdown but he made some sort of mistake backstage to WWE management and he is still in the dog house, i only really see him being a jobber on Raw for the forseeable future.
The Divas match was over so quickly, the only point i really want to make here is why is Kelly Kelly out their when she is never used in the ring during tag matches?, why does Mickie James no longer get decent ring time?, WWE should scrap the Santina angle and let the actual real Divas show off their skills and get into some interesting programs that the fans would like to see, Vince really has let down the Womans Division in the last 2 years.
Carlito and Primo defeated Chavo and Jamie Noble in a good match, The Colon's are on a roll and its good to see them on Raw, i suspect a Priceless v Primo and Carlito feud happening shortly as well, my only problem here is the way Chavo Guerrero is being used, this guy is a great athlete and he deserves so much better by WWE management, his aunt is more in the spotlight than he is and that is just wrong, The Guerrero's are a great wrestling family and Chavo deserves a push or even a re-package in his character.
Matt Hardy beat Goldust in a squash, Matt Hardy is doing a very good job as a heel and i only see better things for him happening shortly on Raw!
Last night the Miz who has improved so much in the last year cut a good heel promo calling out John Cena, Cena didn't appear and Miz declared himself the winner, i actually liked Miz last night he has really stepped up his game and he says he is their to be a top player on Raw, will this happen? unfortunately i dont forsee it and John Cena is going to make him pay when he is ready to return to the ring, i wish Miz would have been able to call out someone else rather than Cena as it's so obvious what will happen to Miz next.
And finally the main event, it was ok but nothing special Batista beat Big Show via countout when John Cena appeared to distract the Big Show, i did like Cena and Show's stare down to end the broadcast but i am not really interested in seeing these two going at it again at Judgment Day, we have saw it so many times in the last 2 months, Anyway Batista is the No 1 Contender for the WWE Title and will meet Orton at Judgement Day!
Anyways Raw was a very decent show and i am looking foward to the next broadcast to see what happens when Shane takes on Orton and what sort of condition will John Cena be in?.
Top marks last night for me go to MVP he overall had a great night as a member of Raw Roster.
As always i would like any opinions on this column either via WWE Universe or send me an email to sevillecfc@aol.com
THE CHOSEN ONE

very good summary, since all that happened...
triple-dwwe monday night raw general manager, vickie guerrero came into the ring, proud of her husband edge, who became new world heavyweight champion, and introduced new wwe champion, randy orton. randy orton came and speaks, then mvp step up the plate. vickie guerrero made an announcement, the big show vs. dave batista for number one contendership match for wwe championship and randy orton vs. mvp. kofi kingston pinned brian kindrick.
4-on-4 divas tag-team match. matt hardy pinned goldust. randy orton vs. mvp end in no contest, when shane attacked randy orton with kendo stick. the miz called out john cena and announced himself as a winner by forfeit. carlito and primo colon defeated chavo guerrero and jamie noble, when carlito pinned noble. dave batista defeated the big show by countout, john cena appeared on stage, the big show was an angry giant, who stares down at john cena at the end of the boardcast.
much shorter than you did, it is more like a raw debut, and i agreed that mvp takes a bow, but end up on the floor outside the ring, so it sounds like shane mcmahon just hit and ran upstairs and made randy orton so livid. Orton/McMahon fued is far from over, it will not be over soon. There is the predication is that next week on wwe monday night raw main event randy orton pinned shane mcmahon, but randy orton wants to punt shane mcmahon to wipe all out, dave batista will attack randy orton before he even punt on shane o mac, that will lead up to Judgment Day. Legacy will interferred, then surprise when mvp comes in and be on batista's side.
I do not think that shane mcmahon will become the 4th member of legacy, shane hates randy, because what he did to his father and himself, also his sister. Shane McMahon wants Randy Orton to pay.
