I am the self-proclaimed #1 fan of Super Crazy and as many people know, I have left countless replies in forums regarding him and his underused talent. For months I have been creating Super Crazy threads or just turning other threads about Super Crazy. I do firmly believe that he is the best in ring performer I have seen. Super Crazy is the main reason I tuned into ECW, in hope of him possibly getting fight. It rarely happened... So many times I sat back and wondered why I was being force fed superstars like Ricky Ortiz, Kelly Kelly, and Mike Knox when Super Crazy was getting a pretty good amount of cheers every time he compete. Well, I don't know really who to blame in Super Crazy quitting. Maybe I should blame the children who drink all the Kool-Aid that they are served. They end up actually believe that Super Crazy is just terrible because he can't win matches. Maybe I can blame WWE for promising him pushes and never following through. I can see why that could be very frustrating. All in all, I can say that Super Crazy quitting (I can't stress enough that this was his decision) is for the better. He said that he just wants to be able to wrestle to his best ability and I cannot say anything bad about that. It is very admirable. I will always feel this way even if people were to somehow read this and say that I'm obsessed or crazy (no pun intended) to think this. Super Crazy is talent and I hope I get to watch him perform again one day.
Why I Watch WWE
Now, first off I would like to say that I understand that WWE needs the big time stars like Cena, Triple H, and Edge to survive, but for me they need the other smaller things, also. I do not necessarily watch Raw to see John Cena or Triple H. Lately (but not anymore) I would watch hoping that Super Crazy would be competing, even though he usually gets forced into squashes against Snitsky or BOTH Burchill siblings. I still enjoy Raw nonetheless, but seeing the lower card stars would be an added bonus. Also, on SmackDown, I really enjoy the referees. I don't know why, I just do. Charles Robinson is hands down the best referee WWE has. He is so good and so funny sometimes and I will never forget his heroic run to the ring at WrestleMania 24. He ran like 50 yards in 8 seconds! Thank you Charles Robinson! Jimmy Korderas is pretty awesome in my book too. I think I enjoy ECW so much because most of the hour is low-profile match ups. I can see match ups I have never seen before. I can see the new up-and-comers like Evan Bourne. I can hopefully see Super Crazy on TV more. All in all, I just really like the little things that go into WWE programming and I hope that the fans help out WWE by cheering for the less popular guys, because most of them (like Jamie Noble etc.) really do have talent and maybe more than the main eventers. And no I'm not dissing the main eventers. Most of them deserve to be where they are. Thank you.
