In my opinion, RAW was quite lackluster this week. I'm not one to constantly complain about the shows, but it has been a bit off lately. Aside from the featured match, most of the contests seem to last no more than 2-3 minutes. Would it kill them to have at least a 10 minute match once in awhile? Give some guys who don't always get a chance, an opportunity to develop.
There have been some good moments at times, but a lot of wasted air, to tell the truth. Nice job by Stephanie, it looked like she hit pretty hard. Take one for the company.
Also the JBL-HBK story is working, but could soon be in danger of repeating itself soon. If they want to drag it out beyond No Way Out, they will have to bring other characters into the fold. In a related note, Vegas odd makers have surprisingly set the odds at 3:1 that Michaels will indeed slip on a banana peel and lose to JBL. Who would have thought? You could have made some big money if you had bet that HBK would be able to not crack up when JBL was poking him in the chest. Almost, but not quite broke out in laughter. It did make for interesting facial expressions.
Forget about Vickie's nude photos, Mike Knox must have some incriminating pictures of the McMahons. How else would you explain his rise?
Isn't it amazing how William Regal has fallen? He was poised to be a huge bad guy, maybe even challenge for the title before he was suspended under the wellness policy. His feud with Punk should have been great, but sadly has been boring. At least he didn't wear his top, it makes his outfit look like an elderly ladies' bathing suit.
