honestly...who cares? who really gives a damn? i mean, what did Foley even do in the company that made him a star at all other than falling off a 16 foot cell? when he became the then WWF champion, did anyone care? no. we could hardly wait for Triple H to beat him cause most of us fans knew that's what was probably going to happen. Foley is everything Ric Flair called him on an episode of RAW one night, a Glorified Stuntman. he's done nothing at all that has really impressed us as Mick Foley. as Mankind, he gave us some great matches with Kane and Taker. that was probably it. he did Rock n Sock connection but i mean, how much did that actually mean to anyone? sure it was a great tag team and they were the tag champs at one time but honestly, Foley did nothing but job his entire career and he's most likely had all these attempts at being number one in the WWE and he didn't take them. now he's mad cause of his position he had on Smackdown!.
a guy that could basically ask the boss for pretty much anything and he picks "teaching" the younger guys or he jobs to the younger guys to get them over. he should have just stayed deranged and as Mankind cause honestly, he was better then as Mankind than he was as Mankind in 1999 when he won the WWF championship the what, second or third time? cause he was WWF champ in the early 90s when he was feuding with Taker. he did better then, in all honesty.
if he wants to make the jump to TNA, thats fine. but dont expect to bring that company any success whatsoever and i hope that TNA doesnt expect any either. simply because if he wasn't purely successful in the WWE, like he could have been, then no one is really going to give a shxt when he's in TNA. if you can't do it in one company, you wont be doing it in the other. most to all fans will just assume you sold the WWE out and their ratings will plummet as they did when Angle, Christian and Booker made their jumps.
so if he goes, he goes. i wont miss him. i really wont.
CM Punk over JBL - so last night, WWE put on, yet, another Cm Punk vs JBL showdown. this match seemed very close to be in JBL's favor and it was also the same in Punk's corner. i honestly thought it was over when JBL hit the clothesline from hell but that wasn't the case as Punk looked for, and pulled out the victory in a match that i thought was sort of back and forth. it wasn't bad at all really. Punk is definitely earning his stripes on RAW, the "flagship" show of the WWE.
Mike Adamle comes out and shows us what happened to Cena at SummerSlam, and has pulled Cena from the Scramble match at Unforgiven because of that injured neck of his. no wait, 'injured'. lol maybe hes hurt, maybe hes not. who knows for sure right? i highly doubt any of it was because of the batista bombs lol well, Adamle then announces that there will be a replacement for Cena. I'll get to that soon.
(i know i know, but if you are reading this, then i gotta keep you reading lol)
next Kane is talking about what he did to Rey Mysterio, blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda. who cares anymore? this feud died before it got off the ground. so expect Batista and Kane to come out of this and go on at No Mercy.
Another interview with Carlito's very talented brother, Primo Colon. it was basically an apology interview for what he did the week before just ignoring him for Cena. that was craptastic and very bad. but he got his apology and Primo is most definitely better than Carlito. way better. then comes HBK, just kind of stares and walks off.
Kelly Kelly over Beth Phoenix (non-title) - this was a very good match. Kelly, (oh so hot) is doing an amazing job and she's definitely getting better everytime she steps into the ring. this win came because Santino interfered FOR Beth but didn't work out to her advantage or the win. I really would have like to have seen this match with the title on the line, it would have definitely made the crowd pop even louder than they did when Kelly got only a win. and Beth probably would have beaten the shxt out of Santino. XD good stuff.
Primo Colon over Charlito - This was really funny to see. Charlito lol. Primo did an amazing job, he was excellent as far as talent goes in the ring. the hurricanrana and the cross body from the top was nice. Primo definitely has a future in the WWE and a bright one at that.
HBK comes out and basically tells us he isn't done (thank God) and now at Unforgiven, it's HBK vs Jericho. again. well, this time the rivalry is a lot more heated than it was when they started it. i honestly thought that it might have turned out to be a last man standing match which would have been a great idea. those matches are awesome. but what may happen, Jericho is going to get the worse end cause HBK will most likely tear him apart. well, in kayfabe.
Priceless over Lawler and Duggan - this match was very late. very. this should have happened right off the bat when Lawler slapped Cody in the face. or was it Ted? well, either way, it shoudl have happened then and not this week. it was still okay to watch, it was just very late.
after that match, Priceless basically demanded their "borrowed" tag titles back and at Unforgiven, it will be Priceless vs Cryme Tyme for the World Tag Team Championship. i think that this match might actually be really great considering...well...IT IS NOT NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS OR RAW AND WE FINALLY GET TO SEE A TAG TITLE MATCH ON A PPV!!!! i will definitely pay attention to this one. let us please welcome back, THE TAG DIVISION!!!
silly white boys....(XD nuff said)
Batista gets interviewed and nobody could have a care in the world.
Santino over Kofi Kingston for the Intercontinental Championship - this was kind of a waste of time. if someone as talented as Kofi isn't the IC champ and isn't defending it against Primo, then i could care less. i still like Kofi. then came the big kiss again between unibrow and Beth. same shxt. different night.
then it's the Smackdown! your vote from the WWE. Matthews and Candice. it's great to see WWE doing it again every year. but the one thing i have to say, i think Candice is going to Smackdown!. i dunno, it just seems that after she was at their free show, being seen on the flyer, needed more ring time and better ring skills, she might be destined for a short time on Smackdown! for that divas championship. it needs credibility. and not from McCool.
Adamle is then spotted on the entrance way again and has announced that Mysterio is Cena's replacement. i thought that this was going to lead to something maybe next month. i thought that he'd come out and say, "well, i can't really tell you tonight now because, i want to make it a surprise" and then keep telling us until a week in september, he could have announced Psycho Sid. that would have been great. or Orton, but he's at home fathering his child and caring for his family. i think he's going to come back at Survivor Series. well, RAW's scramble had a chance at being great, and that is no longer the case.
Batista over Kane by DQ - blogging about this would be pointless. so i'll make this short and sweet. either this feud will continue after Unforgiven and into No Mercy as both these guys going head to head or Mysterio is going to join forces with Batista against Kane at No Mercy and they'll all put on a handicapped match for us. OR, these three will be considered for the World Heavyweight championship spot on a RAW episode by doing a triple threat match or something.
my questions for RAW or WWE fans
Where did RAW go wrong? What is wrong with RAW and how would you fix it? and YOU CANNOT HATE against Cena. the person isn't the problem. something else about the show is.
can you point out what's wrong? without saying CENA or BATISTA. just take those and put them on the side and point out something else or more.
I'll return with an ECW review most likely tomorrow afternoon after i've watched it.
Takeshi Morishima over Jamie Noble - well everyone that watched Smackdown! didn't get to see this match because it's a dark match but from what i've watched on youtube from Takeshi, he's very good in the ring. I think that he might still be with Ring of Honor, but don't count this fact out of any question, WWE will probably try their hardest to sign him.
Friday Night Smackdown!
so at the beginning of the show, Vickie is basically trying to suck up to the Undertaker after all the hell and bullshxt she and Edge put him through. then she announces the apparent 2 qualifying matches before Unforgiven and Smackdown!'s Title Scramble. there were obviously more than two matches.
Maria over Natalya - Maria won this match due to Maryse running down and attacking Maria resulting in a win by dq for Maria. after that, Maryse and Natalya attacked Maria and McCool made the save. I think that at Unforgiven, there should be a Divas Championship match with all four of these ladies because if that title is going to have a spot at all on the SD! show, it needs to be defended. There is no point in having a championship on a show and not seeing it defended at all. by the way, Maria looked very good last night in the ring (minus that horrible broncobuster), and well, you get the rest lol. dont worry, Natalya did too.
10 man Battle Royal. Winner advances to the Title Scramble - so this one definately had a lot of complaints from a lot of people. this match was definately pointless because the winner was, not Brian Kendrick, but THE Brian Kendrick haha. this guys is very good to watch in the ring and it's something Smackdown! has been in need of for quite some time now. yeah, hes still an up and comer and should be in the mid card spot but if you think about it and take a good and hard look at the Smackdown! roster, there aren't too many main eventers. I think that this was WWE's way of saying that guys that we've been watching for so long like Triple H and Taker won't always be in the main event spot all the time and that it's probably time to pass the torch on to the younger crowd. say what you will about The Brian Kendrick, but regardless of what you say, he's moving up the bar and he's moving fast. i didn't like the fact that Show wasn't a part of that match but i honestly think that after this, Show might try to find a way to be apart of it or become the number one contender somehow. what i'd like to see at No Mercy, WWE Championship match between Show, Taker and Triple H. that in my mind is a complete money maker and would definately draw fans to buy the show and enjoy it. but back to the topic, the one thing i did like about this match was when Zeke caught Kendrick in mid air and practically saved him from being eliminated. that has never been done before, at least ive never seen it and ive been watching this company put on shows since Undertaker's debut in November of 1990.
MVP over Festus - well this one was obviously a time filler or Festus really had a chance. I really would like to see Hankinson knock this off if the creative team is going to do nothing with the Jesse and Festus thing and i would like to see Hankinson (festus) do something more with his career, as i would like to see Gordy (jesse) do the same. the Gordy name is a legendary family name inside the WWE and Ray Gordy (jesse) is obviously carrying the name on and definately in the memory of his father Terry. so if WWE arent going to let them get a tag title to their credits, then let Ray become something more like move to RAW and join up with the other family faces like Orton, Dibiase, Jr, Rhodes, Deuce (SNUKA JR!!!!) but back to the topic, i still kind of like this bell ringing and Festus going crazy and going normal. i find it hilarious still and Jesse and Festus deserve to be tag team champions but this was obviously a time filler for MVP to get his win and advance to the Title Scramble.
Shelton Benjamin over Finlay - this was the best match of the night. this match actually had some wrestling to it and it was so amazing to watch and it looked like a real rivalry could have been created and it looked like they were about to actually fight each other and i think that both Benjamin and Finlay pulled that one off as a really good match or fight and then low and behold, the pointless and roster cuttable, Mike Knox came down to the ringside area and basically pooped all over this great match and ruined it for everyone. minus Knox, the match was great and Benjamin advanced to the Title Scramble.
Jeff Hardy over Khali - this was kind of a rocky match. boring and then interesting and it went back and forth and we finally saw something on Smackdown! that we hardly see, THE USE OF A STEEL CHAIR!! thats right! thanks to Triple H, utilizing the chair shot to Khali and Jeff Hardy advances to the Title Scramble.
after the match, Triple H gave us one of the greatest promos ever, why? cause it, in my opinion, was the old evil Triple H letting everyone know that celebration time isnt what anyone should be doing, but instead he basically told them that you should worry about playing The Game and that celebrating wont help you win. just because they're in the title scramble, doesnt mean they've won anything yet. then we got poor kenny dykstra coming down and complaining to Triple H about how he should be in it its his time for everything and he gets the pedigree for his troubles.
The Apology from Vickie Guererro - well this went well. La Familia comes down, introduces Taker's return to Smackdown! and all but Vickie gets laid out for their troubles. I'm glad to see Taker up and running again from all those injuries and he doesn't look to be in bad bad shape anymore. he looks good, better, healthier and even more ready than before. Vickie though, she thought she had all this in the bag and in her corner and that obviously wasn't the case. you piss the deadman off and then expect him to say "i accept your apology"? you're in for some real hell and La Familia took one for her and i was glad to finally see the cut throat and eyes rolling into the back of his head again. great way to end the show and id really like to see where Taker is going next.
Smackdown! has definately been getting very rocky again. at first after the draft, it was everything big and still is and thats definately because of Triple H being moved over there and i really cannot wait til Smackdown! makes its move over to the MyNetworkTV spot. i think the debut is October 3rd, but that thursday, WWE will be airing Wrestlemania 24 in it's entirety and what's very interesting to note about that is that TNA's Impact is aired on thursdays so there will definately be a huge, huge ratings plummet unless they move the show to a different day in order to save their ratings. seriously, are you going to watch IMPACT and not Wrestlemania? i wouldn't. besides, Impact has been blowing more wang than a gay guy at a gay bar with angle, joe and booker being the cancer of the company.
This was fun doing this review and i'll most likely do one next week.

[General]
Alright so in my blog post today, i am gonna talk about RAW/ECW this week, The Hardys, and the new talent in the WWE.
RAW - This week's show seemed a bit dead don't ya think? it was like...someone died and everyone was quiet throughout the entire show. Kane debuts a new theme which was ok in my opinion. it makes his unmasked character a lot more sinister than the finger eleven song did. to also add to that, it makes Kane's character a lot creepier now that he's used the mic a bit more and the music just adds too it. other than that, they need to go somewhere with this story on him and rey mysterio.
the new match concept called the Title Scramble (isnt that it?) is kind of a neat thing. i thought that this would be a RAW thing but according to the spoilers for SD!, that isn't the case. but anyways, i really think that Jericho should have had a spot in that along with maybe HBK or something. if Cena wins this, ill be angry. if Roidtista wins this, im gonna stop watching RAW, if JBL wins this, eh, it will do. I really want either CM Punk to retain or for Kane to finally capture a world title. its been exactly 10 years since he's held a world title. (the ecw title does not count)
ECW - I think that the only thing i really cared to even see was the new talent in Gavin Spears (Shawn Spears in FCW, WWE's Developmental Territory) he's very impressive just like Ortiz and Evan Bourne.
New Talent in WWE - not only are ECW getting all of this, but Smackdown debuted Colt Cabana last week on SD! as Scotty Goldman. Ryan Braddock is another as well. another this week was Carlito's younger brother, Eddie (Primo) Colon. I honestly, really like all this new talent coming in because it is going to definately give us new fueds to watch. Although im sorry for Eddie Colon, not getting his 3 minutes of limelight, he will soon and he wll definately prove to the RAW fans and WWE fans that he isn't going to back down. one thing id like to see, another Colon brother defeat John Cena for his first win. now that would be a blockbuster for the rest of the month haha
The Hardys - alright, so i honestly don't really like the idea of Matt Hardy becoming the ECW champion and Jeff Hardy surrendering to the mid-card status of the WWE. these guys are so over as main eventers and WWE is not utilizing them properly. I also HATE! when stupid WWE fans out there are like "these two are definately not ready to be main eventers or world champs on RAW/SD!" and you know what those people are full of? yeah, you guessed it. im sorry, but im not so sure Jeff and Matt are going to wear tights and/or trunks in order for them to get into the main event spot. thats stupid, annoying, and they are who they are. their gimmicks or dress style fits them so perfect i dont think its possible for them to slip into tights or trunks and fake the rest of their career in front of their fans. WWE creative is just going to have to go with the flow on those two and accept the fact that nothing like that that has ever fit Undertaker or Triple H or The Rock or Kurt Angle is ever going to fit The Hardys. They are ready, more than ready i should say, to take the World heavyweight championship and/or WWE championship. its about time they do, and i will wait it out til it happens.
Ok, so the only thing im going to really talk about for the RAW portion are the Batista and John Cena, Mike Adamle, Kelly Kelly and the HBK-Jericho thing.
HBK-Jericho - Well this fued has been going on for quite some time now and frankly, some of us are rather annoyed that it isnt living up to the stuff they did before WM19. Lately, this "eye injury" is an alright story its just, they need to get to the point or just stop it or make it as interesting as it was to watch back in 2003.
Kelly Kelly - The tag match was alright i suppose. but what i actually want to talk about is her match with beth the week before. Kelly is obviously getting better in-ring wise and its going to be something to watch in the coming months. Honestly, they should have moved her over to Smackdown! because she isnt exactly ready for a Womens championship and i think that the Divas championship would give her more credibility as an in-ring star rather than just a pointless run to kick your career off.
John Cena and Batista - When this little dinger was happening when Cena accidentally hit Batista, i thought of it as, "ok, they are taking both guys careers in a different direction this month" and as i was thnking about my theory of John Cena becoming the new Hulk Hogan (which will be my next blog post here in a bit) something hit me so hard i was speechless for a minute, but if you think about it, this match kind of looks like Hulk Hogan vs Ultimate Warrior in a way. I'll explain this in my Cena/Hogan post here soon.
Mike Adamle as RAW GM - this is a real new start for GM's and i know how bad he's done on ECW as a color commentator but i'm going to give credit where credit is due. This guy looks more promising to me than ever because, if you think about it, every line he's ever spoke in the WWE whether it be on ECW or when he was sent to RAW this past Monday has been told to him to say on the broadcasts. Honestly, i think this guy has more talent than we know about and i think what Vince is wanting to do is build him from the foundation and up and i honestly think something is going to happen with him and its going to be good. if not, i apologize but just because someone "doesnt know what hes doing" on tv for wrestling doesnt mean he doesnt know it. its scripting and you fans know it. hes not stupid, he isnt dumb and hes had so much experience in the past. i just think that Vince is trying something new as far as direction goes rather than just feeding the true greatness to you as a whole.
SMACKDOWN!
So this week, i noticed that the entire show is getting better. What made me want to watch it are these names right here. Kennedy/Shelton, THE Brian Kendrick w/ Ezekiel, R-Truth and the HIAC match for Summerslam.
Kennedy/Shelton - this match was definately a rare treat for SD! fans and WWE fans altogether (as stated by ChaCha, previously) because it was definately fresh, the bronchitis thing is either real or something that might make Shelton get way over as a better heel by cheating his way out of a title win or something and thats definately how a heel would do it. that looked completely old school WWF Attitude or Triple H-wise or something.
THE Brian Kendrick w/ Ezekiel - This is honestly a very very great idea because it too, is very very fresh and i think that WWE is going somewhere with this. Kendrick, looks and sort of sounds a lot like Brian Pillman but looks more like than sounds. like some have stated in the forums, this combination looks like HBK and Diesel from the 90s. i like this and this is one of the reasons why i tune in to watch Smackdown! every single week.
R-Truth - I'm just ready for this guy to come up to Smackdown! and take over! Ron Killings is a very talented athlete and its about damn time he came back man. From what i have HEARD, and this isnt solid news, but when he gets to Smackdown! we're suppose to see a very big push behind R-Truth. I'm just happy that he's back and when he gets to Smackdown!, you can bet that i wont be doing anything else but watching the show on tv.
Hell In a Cell: Undertaker vs Edge at SummerSlam - When i first read the spoilers for the show, i thought to myself, well Mick is involved and i thought that it was just Edge being Edge and doing stupid things to piss Foley off or as we saw, pretty much manhandled Foley. But when i watched it last night i have to admit, something is being cooked up for this match and i am starting to lean toward that this PG thing may not be what we think it is, i think that they might do something very entertaining in that match and Foley was just the prelude to some type of destruction that we saw back in 98 between taker and foley. i dunno, when i watched their segment on the cutting edge, i thought to myself, "they are going somewhere with this and its going to be huge." i dont think that this hell in a cell match is going to be anything like the ones we've witnessed before.
ECW
the only thing i want to address about this weeks show is the Brayden Walker/Matt hardy thing. it is just going to be a question. are we going to see a classic program where the new star is going to accompany and pretty much bodyguard the bigger star where matt wins the ECW title at SummerSlam and then Brayden Walker all of a sudden turns heel and knocks matt out and holds up the ECW title as a sign that he just wants title and hes no longer going to sit back and watch Hardy bask in all the glory?
one more question, Anyone watching Saturday Nights Main Event? lol
So i just want some thoughts on anything above if you feel like posting at all. any and all thoughts are welcome.
