    My 2009 Backlash predictions.

Saturday, April 25, 2009, 09:02 AM EST [General]

    "I QUIT" Match

    Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy

this match is probably going to be either brutal and bloody or just brutal. I dont think that WWE is going to let this one slip from their palms and be lame. This is the one thats going to define a brother vs brother feud and its going to get ugly. Matt Hardy has won a bunch from Jeff Hardy since Wrestlemania and i think he will win this one as Jeff Hardy hasnt really re-signed with the WWE since his contract expires in june or july. Jeff said he wanted to just do some things on the side hes been wanting to do. This would be a great way to let Matt's word stand that "I GOT RID OF MY BROTHER" and "IM THE SUPERIOR HARDY". If that doesnt happen, Jeff will just be gone for a couple of weeks or something. He's really showing promise to Vince that hes not into his former activities anymore.

    Winner, Matt Hardy

Chris Jericho vs Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat

Being that Backlash is kind of the "revenge" pay per view after Wrestlemania, with Jericho being the victor at Mania 25, I think that Steamboat will have his one shot at schooling Jericho and i think Jericho will lose this bout to Steamboat. I think if The Dragon can do this, it will knock Jericho out of that state of mind where he ultimately thinks hes better than everyone when he used to do that back when he started and had his foot shoved in his mouth. Im a huge Jericho fan, but this match needs to go to Steamboat as his last and final match altogether. Hopefully his son has signed with WWE and if he has, cant wait to see him start. OR EVEN, Backlash could see Jericho beating on The Dragon and his son MAKES HIS DEBUT and the save of The Dragon. That would be one hell of a Backlash in my opinion.

    Winner, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat

Santina Marella on the Khali Kisscam

Everyone knows what lengths WWE will go to to make their fans laugh hard once in the greatest while and if this kisscam segment happens, not only will it be gross, but it will be funny as anything  for anyone watching. If the kiss doesnt happen, its going to be Santina revealing himself to be a cross dressing freak and he tries to fight with Khali, and Khali will end this segment with a tree slam and thats the end of it.

Winner of the segment, The Great Khali

    CM Punk vs Kane

Some on this forum board have said this is going to just be a filler match. but matches like this have been put together in the past and have turned into a story. this is actually the way i like stories to happen. Its two guys who really dont have a problem with the other and then all of a sudden a fight of some kind EXPLODES in the face of the WWE fans. This match will most likely lead to another singles match in the near future but for the MITB briefcase. That is if Punk doesnt cash it in real soon. Im a very, very big Punk fan, as well as a Kane fan, but i think Kane will come out the winner and hopefully have a shot at being Mr. Money in the Bank

    Winner, Kane

    ECW Championship

    Jack Swagger (C) vs Christian

Okay, this has been going on long enough. Id say since what, Christian had his first match and first shot at Swagger. Well, its been a while since Christian has held WWE gold, and what better way to kick off his 2009 year and return to the WWE by winning the ECW Championship. Swagger needs to get off ECW and jump to another brand. Hes more than ready to hold mid card titles and after that, a world title of some kind. But this year will belong to Christian, he needs this more than anything. I hope that Christian wins and the title changes hands. Swagger has completed the ECW Developmental Stage.

Winner, and new ECW Champion, Christian

    World Heavyweight Championship

    John Cena (C) vs Edge

This match is probably going to be very well predicted. Edge will most likely leave World Heavyweight Champ. WWE needs to have a top prize on Smackdown! again. I like what they've been doing with all these titles being moved around, but SD! needs a top title back.

Winner and New World Heavyweight Champion, EDGE

    (Alternate Ending)

Edge wins a hard fought battle and Punk cashes in for the World title now that its been brought to Smackdown!, Punk could be champion.

    WWE Championship Match

    6 Man Tag Team Match.

Triple H, Batista and Shane McMahon vs Legacy (Orton, Dibiase and Rhodes)

This match has a lot riding on it A LOT. If anyone on Triple H's side wins the match, Triple H retains. However if anyone on Ortons side wins, Orton becomes the new WWE Champ. Vickie Guerrero also added that if Ortons team wins by count out or DQ, Orton can still become the WWE champion. Its definitely going to be interesting to see what happens and i think that if i pick a winner, its probably going to be Randy Orton. There are a lot of stips on his side and in his favor and someone like batista could slip up and screw it over for Triple H. I mean, he lost his last chance world title match to edge by being counted out.

Winner and new WWE Champion, Randy Orton.

    (alternate ending)

likewise with the WHC, Punk could also cash in here and beat Orton for the WWE title and with the help of Triple H, Batista and Shane O' Mac taking care of Priceless to make it one on one. If Punk could win this, it would bring the WWE title back to Smackdown!

Thats my story, and im sticking to it.

    17-0?

Tuesday, February 10, 2009, 08:43 AM EST [General]

    17-0?

Well, the month of February has already begun and I know for a fact that right now, most wrestling fans are probably thinking ahead. Probably gathering up their money and getting it ready for Wrestlemania XXV. The one thing on our minds as Wrestlemania XXV is constantly plugged is, Will The Undertaker retain his streak and move it up to 17? Who will he face and defend it against? Will he or will he not have a title or compete for one? Many speculate or possibly want the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels to face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania XXV which would most definitely make it one hell of an epic match, the last and final HBK-Taker go-around for their careers.

Personally, I'd like to see CM Punk get himself a shot at that streak because Punk is one hell of an up and comer, he's most definitely going to stay within the WWE considering he is a Triple Crown winner. I know some haven't, but exactly how valued was Kurt Angle considering WWE really didn't fight to keep him? Some want Taker's streak to just end but in all honesty, I think that his streak, and to see if it extends to another double digit is why most fans pay to see Wrestlemania. Then, there are some who want his streak to just end because they feel it's getting ridiculous but you know what? Who cares what Taker haters have to say because in all likelihood, they are probably Gene Snitsky fans anyways.

If I had to name a few possible opponents, Here is how the list would go:

              1. Shawn Michaels

HBK and Taker need one more epic match before their careers come to their ends. Back when Taker was choosing after his Rumble win, HBK had wanted to face Taker and I think that it would have been a great match. Those two would tear the house down easily in a Brand Supremacy match of some kind. Maybe a HBK-Taker HIAC one more time??? Well, we can only hope right?

              2. CM Punk

I think it's time that Punk move up fast and head over to Smackdown! Because RAW is obviously given him everything he needs. Now it's time for Punk to head over to SD! And earn the WWE Championship or at least a few shots at it. Taking on The Undertaker would most definitely get him huge points especially if they had ever let Punk end his streak, which wouldn't happen but regardless, if he had lost to Taker, even at WM, it doesn't matter, points in Punks favor for hanging with the WWE Vet.

              3. Chris Jericho

I think with both their heads and creativity, Jericho and Taker could most definitely tear the house down in any type of epic match even at WM. Both are very great athletes and could amaze the hell out of the crowd.

              4. Jeff Hardy

This man has been on one hell of a road throughout his life and I think that if you pit Jeff against Taker again, especially after that ladder match they had once upon a time ago for the WWE championship, they tore down the house then, and I'm pretty sure they could do it again.

              5. Vladimir Koslov

These two. Koslove vs. Taker at Wrestlemania XXV. Streak vs. Streak match. Though The Undertaker would win considering, well, his veteran status with the company and many riding on the Undertakers band wagon and WWE giving us fans what we want to see (Takers streak extension), Koslov would be a great opponent for Undertaker and it would be very interesting to see what goes down considering Taker is undefeated at Mania and Koslov is just plain old undefeated.

              6. Ted Dibiase

This would definitely be a dream of mine considering I am a huge fan of his father, and Money, Inc. Though Ted Jr. is a bit new still, I am not so sure this could happen now or probably even ever but it would be interesting to see another "Old vs. New School" match and this time, with a newer superstar.

              7. Sim Snuka

One word. PAY BACK! Hahaha! Well, Taker did put the nail in the coffin on Superfly and it gave The Undertaker his first Wrestlemania win and I think to see a mega huge feud with Sim and Taker would be a great thing for the both of them and could bring Sim way up as far as stardom goes.

              8. Umaga

This was supposed to be something that was going to happen but I don't know how true it is anymore. But with Umaga's power, I would love to see both of these Super Heavyweights collide and throw down because Umaga is definitely one of those guys who could just pull it out and steal a win and make you get on the edge of your seat for something like ending Taker's streak.

So who will Undertaker face at WrestleMania XXV? Will he retain or will his streak end? In time, we will see what's going to happen from here and when it comes, we will see.

    Now, your thoughts.

Jeff Hardy and the WWE Championship

Tuesday, December 16, 2008, 05:16 AM EST [General]

lol this entire story is everywhere.

Congrats to Jeff on winning the belt. now lets hold onto it. lol. hes a great athlete and hes very deserving of this accomplishment. some might disagree with me, but thats why they whine first, then read what some of us have to say about it being the best damn thing wwe has done all year and then they try to whine again and this time try to elaborate what we write and turn it into a very dull argument they wont later win.

but now that Jeff has this belt, i think its time he have his lengthy title reign, and you know, pick it up a few times. i think that this is WWE's chance to push more mid card guys and let them get a taste of the gold. i know everyones going to say "NO GUYS LIKE KENDRICK AND R-TRUTH DONT DESERVE IT YET!" when in solid fact, they do. Triple H and the Undertaker arent always going to be there to pick up the belt and please us. they are as human as you and i are and their youth is running out. its time to pass this title torch onto the new comers.

i am a huge fan of taker and h but its simply time for them to pass it on and i think thats what WWE might have done here when Jeff won the title. Jeff got into the business at 16, illegally and just wanted to wrestle. but you cant just always want to wrestle, you gotta want more for yourself and these big names, they gotta let you want it and let you work your @$$ off for it.

I'd really like to see some title matches between Taker/Jeff, Triple H/Jeff, Edge/Jeff, being that Jeff is on the title side of things this time around. as well as maybe R-Truth and Jeff, Kendrick and Jeff, Mvp, you get the picture.

im glad this move was made. its time we had a new face and a new champion.

    my RAW review for 9/1/08

Monday, September 1, 2008, 10:24 PM EST [General]

the opening contest of the show before RAW was Jimmy Wang Yang over another new piece of talent and i could barely even catch his name. Wang Yang picked up the victory.

then the 5 second tribute was aired for Killer Kowalski. that's going to be really hard for the wrestling world for those who are in or getting in. I miss the guy and ive only seen a few of his matches. one of the greats and can never be forgotten. he has given us many to watch and enjoy, like Triple H. Thank you for helping pave the way for the wrestling business Killer, may you eternally rest in peace. I cannot imagine how hard it was to lose him cause i didnt know him personally but the wrestling world has lost yet another chunk of greatness. but he will rest in peace and watch over the youngsters that are in the business, i am sure of it.

RAW starts with Randy kicking the show off and when i was there in the seats towards the top, listening to everything he had to say, minus CM Punk being world champ (i knew that was starting as a feud the moment his music hit) but he was absolutely right. Priceless let the tag titles get stolen, santino sucks as IC champ, and Beth is just a joke as womens champion. i really wish Orton would reclaim RAW and the world title but then again, i dont want Punk losing the title. but whatever happens, happens. this feud in my opinion is red hot and could most likely bring the ratings for RAW to a newer high.

JBL came out and gave his cinderella speech again and the crowd could have cared less to hear it. JBL will most likely not be the winner of the WHC this sunday at Unforgiven. Kane comes out and cracks a joke on JBL's clothesline from hell and i laughed my @$$ off! that was funny and the crowd laughed theirs off too.

Batista comes out to pretty much spear everyone and leaves the ring. making his presence felt.

an over the top battle royal is announced for the participants in the RAW championship scramble for tonight.

Kofi Kingston over Charlie Haas - this was a huge and unexpected joke. they pulled one on the fans. but it ended up being Kofi the dominator and Charlie the joke.

Long and Adamle agree to an ECW over the top rope battle royal for tonight.

ECW Champion Mark Henry over Finlay, Miz, Hardy, and Chavo - this match was overall okay. not bad. i do believe that at Unforgiven, Henry is dropping the title to Matt Hardy. its been long awaited and Henry dominated and won the match and sometimes, the one that gets the upper hand last before the ppv, usually loses. im not saying that that is entirely true because it isnt, but its happened a lot in the past.

Jericho is shown signing the legal papers for his match with HBK at the ppv.

Jaime Noble over William Regal - well, Layla is back and this was just to move this story along i think. the story you know? where layla doesnt like losers lol

Candice Michelle, Mickie James and Kelly Kelly over WWE Womens champ Beth Phoenix, Katie Lea and Jillian Hall - with Candice getting the victory. Im just proud that my dreamgirl is back :) i love Candice Michelle, madly lol

promo for the contract signing is shown.

WWE Intercontinental champ Santino Marella over D-Lo this match was stupid. D-lo should be utilized way better than this.

Miz and Morrison vs Cryme Tyme - this was clearly just a scam to distract Cryme Tyme so that Priceless could get their beatings in and get their titles back. nothing too flashy but i guess to some, going into the title match, the belt sitch will make sense again.

RAW Battle Royal and Kane over Batista, JBL, CM Punk - after the match, Rey Mysterio showed up and beat on Kane a lot. great to see lil Rey Rey back ^_^

the contract signing took place next and both parties signed, had their words and HBK was looking to get ambushed by Lance Cade cause Jericho cant touch him and HBK layed Cade out. a few kicks to the face as Cade layed on the apron. i would also like to say, HBK, i do not think was injured whatsoever. he didnt look nor did he leave injured. so until its absolutely WWE legit and worded by them and them only, its not believeable. i was there, witnessed it all. he was fine. but the way Michaels stared into the camera on the ramp was great. great ending to the show. loved it and i loved how they timed his music with it too.

TNA and why WWE guys have gone there recently

Tuesday, August 26, 2008, 03:39 PM EST [General]

so TNA seems to be collecting old and leaving WWE talent these days. well, we know the older names go there because of the lighter schedule and they couldnt make it in the WWE before some did, and some didnt.

but now we got guys leaving the WWE to give TNA a try. why?? because, well, this reason.."WWE just doesn't utilize me right"

okay so let me take a minute and point out why they don't utilize them right. they think that after all these years, they should be in the main event spot or need to be pushed better or something and that was Cage's problem. well, what he DIDNT realize is that in order to make a name for yourself in this business, you have to...MAKE THE NAME FOR YOURSELF. you can't just expect WWE to say "okay, im picking you to carry the show" thats not going to happen and Christian felt that that is what they should have done, i think. he was in the company for years, and wasn't being utilized in the main event correctly and he's a great talent. dont get me wrong, im a huge fan of Cage but lets just think about all of it right now.

you have to make that name for yourself. you have to go out there, as a heel or face, whichever you are, and you gotta either piss that crowd off to the point where they hate you and will wanna see what you do next or you gotta make that crowd love you and make them come back to see you. you cant just say "ive been here working for you for years, use me correctly in the main event" or at all for that matter. you have to make it on your own. Vince isnt going to baby you. same for Foley, Booker and Kurt, well, a little less Kurt. hes a **** and a liar so i wont even go near his stupid stories.

and when they complain about this and being burnt out for nothing because they've hardly done anything to make their career elevate even higher (minus foley and angle, they had their fun) they go to TNA. and heres what i think they say

"DIXIE! VINCE WONT MAKE ME A STAR CAUSE I CANT DO IT ON MY OWN! GIVE ME A TITLE SHOT ON YOUR SHOW PWEEEZ??"

(Dixie) "Ohhh sweet child of mine. come here, ill give you gold on this show cause Vince wont on his show. its okay baby, come here. mommas gonna .."

exactly why i dont like TNA. the stars that didnt make it in WWE, they get babied. they get a damn bottle of formula from management and whine cause Vince wouldnt utilize them. lets see, he's been in the biz longer than any of the management over in TNA has and he knows when someone needs work and when someone is more than ready. TNA just babies the stars that jump over from the WWE.

that's just the way i see it. i mean, guys like Jarrett, Hall, Nash, and other names on their level, they've done all they could in the WWE. going back would be great for them and will definitely land them a spot in the hall of fame soon. its just, these other guys that jump, that werent exactly decorated or did much, they need work. and sometimes, i wanna believe that's why Christian went to TNA. and now that he's molded into a better main eventer, he might return sooner or later to the WWE. while that cant be confirmed, i as a fan, can sit and only hope for it.

but that was the name of this rant of mine, TNA Babies their WWE led Stars.
