Raw was watchable this week. I enjoyed the MVP/Orton angle. MVP can really work a mic.
Big Show/Batista was alright.
The Colons made TV this week! Almost didn't recognize them.
So what was the point of having all the divas great dressed and ready for action when only like three of them competed (excluding Santina; which is making me sick). Did you all here the ovation for Mickie James? She is without a doubt the companies MVD (Most Valuable Diva). And WWE let her stand on the ring apron for the whole match.
Raw was ok but not great. They could have done much better. The good thing is they got the rosters right and only had Raw members appear on Raw.
I was very much in favor of all three title changes that occured at Backlash. To be honest, I think both HHH and John Cena should be taken off TV for a while to give someone else a shot at the gold.
So we passed up a decent Divas match for the whole Santino/Santina/Beth stuff. Boring!
Kane/Punk----Yawn!
Jericho/Dragon was pretty good.
Hardy/Hardy was very good everyone.
Backlash was ok. Not too much to complain about however we are moving on to Monday Night Raw. I would hope that we leave the Smackdown talent and ECW talent on there respective shows to allow raw talent to shine. The smart thing to do is let HHH and Cena off Raw this week to sell there injuries. This would allow Randy Orton and Legacy to engage Batista.
Carltio, Primo, MVP, and Maryse have het to debut offically on Raw so Raw this week is crucial to these talents making an impact. I can see the Colons and Batista against Legacy in the main event. This could give Dibiase and Rhodes an entrance in the tag-team title run again.
MVP can use Raw to establish his fist feud on Raw and make his mark on his new show.
Maryse needs to start making new enemies with the Divas title. Mickie James would be the ideal canidate for this. She has been "out of the loop" on the womens title for a while now. With Maryse on Raw, Mickie can get a fresh start now.
I hope WWE can make Raw exciting again with the new talents. We will see tonight.
What a horrible episode of Smackdown....I mean Raw this week. I got confused when I was watching the show because half the Smackdown roster made Raw. Why? Leave Smackdown wrestle on Smackdown and Raw wrestle on Raw. Let's talk about the worst episode of Raw I have ever seen. I have full respect and admiration for all the WWE Superstars and Divas but not for the ****s that are writing this ****. And for upper managment who think these storylines and angles are a good idea.
I work for an independant wrestling company and the stories that come out of there are better than the WWE's.
First off, Batista beat Chavo in like a minute. The jobification of Chavo Guerrero continues.
Second, why is Kane ****ed every week. He lost to CM Punk like that. What purpose does Kane have anymore? He is not scary. WWE makes him look like a joke week after week and it's ****ing sucks.
Number 3 is why did it take longer for Big Show to beat Mysterio then it took Punk to beat Kane? In reality, the Big Show shouyld have walked into the ring, punched Rey in the face, and then leave.
MVP didn't even make the show. Maryse didn't make the show. So basically, the champions of Raw were left off for the champions of Smackdown. Even Carlito and Primo were left off. Backlash is Sunday and the Raw before blew big time.
No Mickie James this week. All we had was Beth Phoenix vs. Melina. Didn't Melina get drafted to Smackdown? So why was she on Raw this week?
Does the draft mean a ****ing thing?
We saw Cena/Jericho part 27 tonight. How many times do we need to see these two wrestle eachother?
HHH/Orton was nothing special. I was this fued in 2004 and in 2007. Everything is this is producing has been done twice before.
So the draft is over and it was so predictable for the most part. Here are the thoughts I have:
I agree with the drafts of both Big Show and Chris Jericho. Both men need a change of venue. Jericho has been on Raw for a long time so his draft was a good one.
Vladimer Kozlov drafted to ECW. Nice knowing ya Kozlov. He will be buried now. Man did ECW get the shaft or what?
I knew that as soon as MVP and Melina were drafted; Maryse and Mysterio would be drafted as well.
So Maryse is now on Raw. I hope she doesn't choke. I was glad that Mickie James was not drafted. Unless she get screwed in the other draft on WWE.com, she is in the clear. I would rather Mickie compete for the Womens title but if the price for her staying on Raw is competing for the Butterfly belt then I am ok with it. if she escapes the WWE.com draft and stays on Raw. I will shut up.
HHH on Raw--We all knew that one.
Matt Hardy to Raw is ok.
Kane is Smackdown. In three years Kane went from Raw to Smackdown, Smackdown to Raw, and now Raw to Smackdown.
CM Punk to Smackdown is ok.
I am sad to see the end of Miz and Morission. We will see what the Miz can do on his own.
Not a bad draft but it is not over yet I hope Mickie makes it through it all. I do think Candice Michelle should go to Smackdown and Michelle McCool to Raw.
We are coming up quick on the 2009 Draft and I am really worried this year. I urge the WWE to play this draft smart and do what is best for the fans.
I beg WWE not to move Mickie James off Raw. Personally I think all the girls that can wrestle should be on Raw. The Raw Womens Division should consist of Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, Jillian Hall, Melina, Gail Kim, Rosa, Natalya, and Katie Lea. The remaining girls Candice Michelle, Maria, the Bella Twins, Kelly Kelly ect should compete on Smackdown/ECW for the Hanna-Montana Championship Belt aka the Butterfly Belt. Keep James on Raw where she belongs. It's bad enough I do not get Smackdown. I would be worse not to see Mickie on Raw anymore. It would be an absolute disgrace to see Mickie as the Butterfly Champion or Natalya for that matter. I want to see a womens wrestling match between james and natalya.
I think WWE should unify all the titles in the company and make one set period (excluding the ECW title). It should be the WWE Championship, the WWE Tag titles, the Intercontinental Title, and the Womens title. All four titles will be defended and represented by all three brands. Competition would be created and maybe prestige would be restored to the titles.
I think Cena will go to Smackdown and HHH to Raw switching the World titles again. I also want MVP on Raw and Rey Rey on Smackdown.
