    SURVIVOR SERIES HIGHLIGHTS

Sunday, November 22, 2009, 11:19 PM EST [General]

    * TEAM MIZ def, TEAM MORRISON:

    — To the surprise of many in the WWE Universe, United States Champion The Miz, Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger, Sheamus & Dolph Ziggler were able to put their major egos aside and work together to take down the explosive squad of Intercontinental Champion John Morrison, Matt Hardy, Finlay, Evan Bourne & Shelton Benjamin in the opening bout of Survivor Series.

The match began with Raw rivals Evan Bourne and Jack Swagger squaring off in the center of the ring and quickly turned to chaos from there. Pinfalls quickly piled up as Superstars from each brand clashed, including a showdown between the tough Irishmen Sheamus and Finlay, which The Celtic Warrior won with a devastating front kick.

When the dust began to settle, John Morrison found himself alone and outnumbered against the seriously terrifying triumvirate of The Miz, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre. Throwing caution to the wind, The Shaman of Sexy attempted to overcome the odds with his explosive offense, but he simply couldn’t handle three vicious competitors at once. In the end, Morrison was slammed to the mat by The Celtic Warrior and pinned, giving Team Miz the victory.

The Miz has now racked up two consecutive pay-per-view victories over his former tag team partner. Obviously, this does not sit well with The Guru of Greatness and you can expect these two talented young Superstars to meet again.

    * Match Elimination Breakdown:

    * BASTISA def, REY MYSTERIO:

    - At Survivor Series, Batista unleashed the full extent of his unrelenting fury on his former friend Rey Mysterio, administering a merciless attack that left the official no choice but to stop the match.

Though the high-octane Mysterio showed the WWE Universe every bit of his heart from the opening bell, battling for the offensive with everything he had, the enraged Animal would eventually descend upon his prey with absolute havoc. In the final moments of the match, the fans erupted as Mysterio looked to be heading to a huge victory of redemption with the 619.  However, as Mysterio attempted to channel the late Eddie Guerrero with a follow up frog splash, Batista’s raised knees signaled the beginning of a shocking end.

The vicious Animal proceeded to level Mysterio with an earth-shattering spear, a thunderous spinebuster and three devastating Batista Bombs, never once going for a cover. It was clear that he had no interest in simply winning. He wanted Mysterio to be humiliated. Even after the official attempted to end the relentless punishment by signaling for the bell, Batista’s rampage continued with the execution of a riveting post match spinebuster onto an unforgiving steel chair. Mysterio was left in agonizing pain at the hands of a Superstar that once meant everything to him.

Standing side by side, the two former World Champions have won tag team gold  grieved the loss of a “family member”  and forged a powerful bond in numerous squared circle battles. But when both Superstars, along with  were selected to challenge World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker at WWE Bragging Rights in a Fatal Four Way Match, the fuse was lit for an explosive parting of ways.

In a match where every Superstar would be for himself, Mysterio stopped Batista from a possible pin over The Deadman. The Undertaker went on to triumph, pinning Batista with a devastating Tombstone. Only seconds later, in a horrific moment that the WWE Universe will never forget, The Animal suddenly snapped, attacking  the stunned Master of the 619 with an indescribable assault.

Five days later on SmackDown, Mysterio tried to mend the mighty rip in their heartfelt alliance, but Batista would have none of it. Convinced his closest ally cost him the World Title, the stone-faced Superstar walked out of the ring with more rage in his eyes than ever before.

When SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long made a match between the two former friends at Survivor Series, things went from bad to worse. At the official contract signing, The Animal demanded that Mysterio sign a “Hold Harmless Agreement,” preventing legal action against him for anything he might do to his opponent at the pay-per-view. After reluctantly signing it, The Ultimate Underdog proceeded to humiliate his newfound adversary, flipping the signing table onto him, adding insult to injury as he stepped onto it while making his exit.

Two days before their pay-per-view showdown, after Batista cost Mysterio his match with Tyson Kidd by disqualification, the masked Superstar found an opening to dish out another embarrassing hit-and-run attack on the man he once called a brother. An irate Batista failed to catch Mysterio and was left with nothing but egg on his face for the second week in a row.

Though Mysterio was bound and determined to show Batista a side of him he has never seen before at Survivor Series, in the end, his heart was not enough to overcome the furious bite of The Animal. And now that Batista has released his insane wrath upon a Superstar he once called family, no one on SmackDown is safe.

    * TEAM KOFI def, TEAM ORTON:

Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Matches are always competitive, but rarely are they as closely contested as the epic battle between Team Kingston and Team Orton. Though each of the 10 competitors fought hard, ultimately, it was Team Captain Kofi Kingston himself that carried the day, pinning his nemesis, and last remaining competitor, Randy Orton to win the match for his team.

    Match Elimination Breakdown:

Randy Orton def. Mark Henry by pinfall
CM Punk def. R-Truth by pinfall
ECW Champion Christian def. Ted DiBiase by pinfall
MVP def. William Regal by pinfall
Cody Rhodes def. MVP by pinfall

UNDERTAKER def, THE BIG SHOW AND CHRIS JERICHO TO RETAIN THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:

The Unified Tag Team Champions could not work together to take down Undertaker. Instead, the World Heavyweight Champion locked Big Show in Hell's Gate to retain his title.

Although Big Show and Chris Jericho both hold Unified Tag Team Championship gold, they want something more – Undertaker’s World Heavyweight Title.

At WWE Bragging Rights, Big Show started laying the foundation for his quest by turning his back on Team Raw. And although he suffered the wrath of fellow Raw members just a day later, by Friday Night SmackDown, The World’s Largest Athlete had already secured a signed contract to face The Undertaker at Survivor Series.

On that same edition of SmackDown, Chris Jericho defeated Kane to also qualify to face The Phenom – officially making it a Triple Threat Match.

Since winning the Unified Title at Night of Champions, the tag team champs have been on a roll, tearing through a slew of formidable opponents. But now, they must face not only each other, but their greatest challenge of all – The Demon of Death Valley.

Ever since winning the Heavyweight Title at Hell in a Cell, The Undertaker has showed no signs of letting up. At WWE Bragging Rights, the champion overcame the odds and successfully defended his gold against CM Punk, Batista & Rey Mysterio in a Fatal Four Way Match.

If The Phenom can take on three opponents and win, surely he can do the same against two. But, at 485-plus-pounds, one could argue that Big Show counts as two Superstars.

Can Jericho or Big Show find a way to topple The Undertaker? Or, will The Phenom make his opponents regret even stepping in the ring with him? He already did.

    * TEAM MICKIE def, TEAM MICHELLE:

    - Mickie James, on one hand, escaped the Verizon Center a searing survivor. The smart, sexy and powerful Diva, on the other hand, left yearning for further retribution.

Captain James, along with her partner and Divas Champion Melina, prevailed in Sunday’s Divas Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match despite Beth Phoenix not accepting her elimination. The Glamazon assaulted Mickie before the official finally forced her to exit.

In the preceding weeks, Beth, along with Layla and team captain and Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, affronted James with vicious insults. The devious trio, in fact, labeled her a “pig,” causing the former four-time Women’s Champ to cry on SmackDown.

Despite it being a bittersweet triumph for the two awesome in-ring performers, Mickie and The Red Carpet Diva demonstrated why they are each top-ranked Divas.

Melina, for one, showed how versatile she can be when she pulled off an incredibly acrobatic sunset flip on Michelle to conclude the match. Mickie, meanwhile, can certainly expect a crack at the Women’s Title at some point soon after her impressive performance, which included eliminating Beth and Alicia.

The two dazzling Divas, nevertheless, will likely employ action against their bullies in the upcoming weeks to get some extra desired revenge.

    * Match Elimination Breakdown:

Kelly Kelly def. Layla by pinfall
Michelle McCool def. Gail Kim by pinfall
    Eve def. Jillian by pinfall
Beth Phoneix def. Eve by pinfall
Beth Phoenix def. Kelly Kelly by pinfall
Mickie James def. Beth Phoenix by pinfall
Mickie James def. Alicia by pinfall
Melina def. Michelle McCool by pinfall

    * JOHN CENA def, DX TO RETAIN THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP:

WWE Champion John Cena delivered a memorable performance against Randy Orton at WWE Bragging Rights to capture his seventh World Title. The Champ, however, will have no time to rest or celebrate as he will have to defend his gold against a pair of allies, DX’s Shawn Michaels and Triple H, in a Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series.

Unlike most Triple Threat Matches which generally feature three existing foes, this extraordinary contest carries a much different outlook.

Cena, for one, will be forced to resist punishment from two former World Champions and future WWE Hall of Famers. The Game and HBK are two of WWE’s most illustrious all-time ring warriors, and unquestionably, each expect to reclaim the title.

The prominent question, though, will relate to Triple H and Michaels’ motives. Will the effervescent duo work as a team to ravage The Champ? Or, in contrast, will each DX Superstar focus on their individual quests to repossess the WWE Championship?

The WWE Universe has witnessed many allies throughout WWE’s storied history get into scuffles when the title is on the line. Most recently, for example, even longtime friends Batista and Rey Mysterio divided at WWE Bragging Rights during their Fatal Four Way Match when The Animal blamed his former buddy for his own defeat.

While DX asks Cena if he will be ready for Survivor Series, it’s also imperative for The Cerebral Assassin and The Showstopper to ask themselves if they will be ready. It will be uncustomary for the two partners to be opponents – something they haven’t done since DX’s fallout earlier this decade.

Cena, meanwhile, has stepped up to every challenge throughout his career, including proving he was the ultimate champion in his unforgettable rivalry with The Viper. The esteemed gladiator also has plenty of experience battling Triple H and Michaels. In fact, the 12 Rounds star defeated The Game and HBK, respectively, at back-to-back WrestleManias in 2006 and 2007.

Retaining the gold, however, may not be in The Champ’s control. The first man to pin one of their opponents will be the champion.

All three combatants realize what they are up against, and it will be up to each of them at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. to show to the WWE Universe that they are Monday Night Raw’s most electrifying champion.

HBK superkicking Triple H set the tone for this Triple Threat Match, which saw DX brutalizing each other, allowing WWE Champion John Cena to capitalize with an Attitude Adjustment and retain his gold.

THE MIDNIGHT HOUR #21 (SMACKDOWN HIGHLIGHTS

Friday, November 20, 2009, 11:44 PM EST [General]

    * Mickie James def. Layla: For the second week in a row, Women’s Champion Michelle McCool made Mickie James’ existence miserable on Friday nights. After Mickie soundly defeated Layla, she was quickly introduced to Michelle’s personalized video version of “Old McDonald,” designed to degrade the new SmackDown Diva with its starring character “Piggy James.” The insulting stunt left the former Women’s Champion crying in the ring. But who will be shedding tears of defeat when Team Michelle takes on Team Mickie at Survivor Series? * Drew McIntyre def. Finlay: Despite an aggressive attack of pure retribution by The Belfast Brawler for McIntyre’s shillelagh assault one week ago, The Scottish Superstar used a quick jab to the eye to set up his Double Arm Underhook DDT and walked away with the win. Could McIntyre’s ruthless tactics be enough to grab triumphant for Team Miz this Sunday? * CM Punk’s Straightedge Intervention: The Straightedge Superstar carried out a one-man Straightedge intervention on the WWE Universe, attempting to show them “how to survive” by disposing of cigarettes, prescription pills, and alcohol into a metal trash can. However, his efforts came to a sudden halt when R-Truth decided to carry out an intervention of his own. After knocking Punk to the ground, the rapping Superstar emptying the contents of the trash can on top of Punk before using it to bash The Second City Saint in his rib cage. Who will chose the correct path to survival when Team Orton faces Team Kofi at Survivor Series? * Intercontinental John Morrison def. Dolph Ziggler in 2-out-of-3 Falls Match for the Intercontinental Championship: Despite suffering a major rib injury, The Guru of Greatness heroically rallied back to overcome Dolph Ziggler 2 falls to 1. Despite another impressive effort from his confident challenger, “The A-Lister” closed the door on the hard fought battle for the gold with Starship Pain. Will The Friday Night Delight and the rest of Team Morrison survive on Sunday against Team Miz? * Tyson Kidd def. Rey Mysterio by Disqualification: While Batista emanated silent intimidation from the broadcast table, Mysterio went round and round with Tyson Kidd. But seconds after The Animal cost his former comrade-in-arms the match by disqualification, the masked Superstar found an opening to dish out another humiliating hit-and-run attack on the Superstar he once called a brother. A completely enraged Batista failed to catch Mysterio and was left with nothing but egg on his face for the second week in a row. Will Mysterio’s actions be his undoing at Survivor Series as the two former World Champions collide? * Batista def. Matt Hardy: An irate Batista roared onto SmackDown, focusing the full force of his relentless fury on Matt Hardy. After executing three consecutive spinbusters, The Animal hit a vicious Batista Bomb for the decisive victory. He later declared that Rey Mysterio, the source of his anger, would never again embarrass him the way he did last week, promising to decimate his former friend at the Survivor Series. * World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker & Kane vs. Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show ended in a No Contest: The Brothers of Destruction, two legendary forces of indescribable mayhem, remerged as one to take on Jericho and Big Show. However, the intense mega match between four of WWE’s elite Superstars was destined to descend into absolute bedlam from the beginning. When The World’s Largest Athlete stormed into the ring to break up The Deadman’s dreaded Hell’s Gate, he drew the wrath of The Big Red Machine, igniting an all out free-for-all that left the official no choice but to declare a no-contest. When the smoke finally cleared, the squared circle anarchy had taken its toll on all four combatants. And with both The Phenom and Kane down, Jericho seized the moment and delivered a surprise Codebreaker to his own partner. The first-ever Undisputed WWE Champion snatched up the World Title and held it high above his head, sending a definitive message that this Sunday’s pay-per-view will truly be every one for himself. Could this be a prophecy of things to come in the World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series? AND NOW THOUGHTS FROM THE MAN OF THE HOUR:: – With Survivor Series just 48 hours away, all of SmackDown's Superstars were looking looking to be the last one standing amidst a feverish rampage of brotherly destruction, animalistic rage, championship frenzy and Straightedge intervention that rocked Friday night to its very core. THE MIDNIGHT HOUR (BLACK FRIDAY)

Wednesday, November 18, 2009, 11:50 PM EST [General]

Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away and, as we all know, that means Black Friday, the craziest shopping day of the year is almost upon us!

It's the nickname given to the Friday after Thanksgiving and the unofficial start to the holiday shopping season. Though Black Friday is commonly referred to as the busiest retail shopping day of the year, it does not always have the biggest sales volume.

However, it usually ranks among the top three days in customer traffic to stores, along with the Saturday before Christmas and December 26th.

This year, Wal-Mart will keep its stores open 24 hours and take new crowd-control measures on Black Friday.

Last year, at a Wal-Mart in Valley Stream, NY, not far from my hometown on Long Island, an employee died on Black Friday after he was trampled to death by a mob of shoppers.

Hundreds of people lined up outside the store and as soon as the doors opened, a stampede ensued and ended with one dead and four injured. This year, in addition to being opened 24 hours, Wal-Mart plans to place its hottest sale items far apart from each other to prevent crowds from gathering and avoid another stampede in the frenzy of Black Friday shopping.

Personally, I like to avoid the chaotic crowds and do my shopping around 8 or 9 AM on Black Friday, which is much less hectic than going in the afternoon or waiting for the store to open at the crack of dawn. But whenever you join the Black Friday masses, you can count on amazing deals all day long!

    THE MIDNIGHT HOUR #20

Tuesday, November 17, 2009, 12:05 AM EST [General]

Good evening and welcome to "The MidnightHour". Tonight I'm going to bring you the highlights from "Monday Night Raw":

    * "Live from New York ... it's Monday Night Raw!". That was how Raw's special guest host, none other than "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, officially kicked off the broadcast from a place he knows well, The World's Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden. And boy, the WWE Hall of Famer sure wasn't kidding

    "Rowdy" Roddy Piper opens Raw:

Before greeting the WWE Universe to another edition of Raw, the WWE Hall of Famer welcomed New York actor Luis Guzman, who has had memorable roles in Boogie Nights and Traffic and can be seen in the upcoming comedy Old Dogs. Piper announced that the two would be joined by a Guzman favorite, Iron Chef Bobby Flay. Unfortunately for the Puerto Rican actor, a mix-up produced not the Iron Chef but The Iron Sheik.

After telling Piper that his favorite WWE moment from The Garden involved Hulk Hogan, Sheik flipped his head dress, rambling angrily and mimicking beating up on Hulk with a pair of action figures.

With that, the WWE Universe welcomed another wild and crazy edition of Raw to The Garden, complete with a rockin' new opening theme song compliments of Nickelback.

    * "Rowdy" Roddy Piper challenged Mr. McMahon to a street fight; Randy Orton attacked, Kofi Kingston rushed to the rescue:

Raw's special guest host, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, has beaten cancer and cheated death on numerous occasions. One mountain he hasn't climbed, though, is tackling Mr. McMahon in a street fight, which is why the plaid maniac challenged The Chairman to such a battle earlier in the evening.

As Piper waited in vain for Mr. McMahon to show, Randy Orton emerged, wanting a fight of his own. Just as The Viper attacked the WWE Hall of Famer and had him on the ropes, Kofi Kingston charged into the melee. As the respective Survivor Series captains of Team Kofi and Team Orton, Kingston and The Legend Killer share a resentment-fueled history, which includes Kofi trashing Orton's customized NASCAR automobile and slapping him across the face - twice! The two scuffled outside of the ring, trading blows amongst the WWE faithful. The action intensified when Kofi slammed Orton across the head, opening up a nasty gash and leaving The Viper lying hurt atop a table. The dreadlocked dynamo then climbed atop a railing and hit a Boom Drop onto Orton, severing the table into two and leaving his nemesis in gut-wrenching pain.

United States Champion The Miz def:

With his smarmy tone and taunting smirk, United States Champion The Miz makes it oh-so-easy to dislike him. Which is why it's too bad the guy just keeps winning. This week, he defended his title against MVP and emerged victorious, despite The Franchise Playa having The View's Sherri Shepherd cheering him from ringside. The bout may prove to be a primer for when Miz leads his team this Sunday against Intercontinental Champion John Morrison, also the captain of his team, in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match.

    * Santino Marella def. Chavo Guerrero And Triple H Pedigreed Hornswoggle:

The week prior, Chavo Guerrero wanted to fight Santino Marella, but, thanks to a misunderstanding, he ended up battling boxing great Ricky Hatton and getting knocked out by the special guest host. This week, he got his wish. Instead of trampling The Italian Stallion, however, the self-proclaimed "Mexican Warrior" fell short when Hornswoggle distracted him.

While the leprechaun, clad in DX gear, disappeared under the ring, the real DX emerged to quell rumors and settle matters once and for all. Triple H and Shawn Michaels informed the crowd that they will indeed fight one another at Survivor Series in their Triple Threat Match with WWE Champion John Cena, but that competition will not be their undoing as a team. They also called out a reluctant Hornswoggle to, as they put it, include him in DX. When the little guy showed up wearing neon green and performing DX chops, though, he suffered a damning Pedigree at the hands of Triple H in an extreme effort at thwarting the little imitator once and for all.

     * Divas Champion Melina def. Alicia Fox:

Judah Friedlander never had it so good. The 30 Rock actor and comedian was honored as special guest ring announcer for the match between Divas Champion Melina and Alicia Fox. Friedlander announced that the bout would be a Divas Championship Lumberjill Match then happily looked on from ringside.

While Fox has showcased amazing resilience in recent weeks, Melina's gutsy performance proved too much as the Latina lovely retained the golden butterfly.

    * Sheamus attacked Jerry "The King" Lawler:

His Irish temper has already claimed one victim, Jamie Noble, who retired last week after suffering a severe beating at the hands of The Celtic Warrior. This week, Sheamus issued an open challenge to the Raw roster, which no one accepted. Apparently, in a need to satiate his wicked ways, the Irishman attacked Raw's timekeeper and then went after ring announcer Jerry "The King" Lawler, leaving the WWE Hall of Famer lying motionless.

    * Jack Swagger def. Evan Bourne:

Jack Swagger - rarely has a name seemed more fitting. The cocky collegiate All-American wrestler appeared to lose a bit of bluster last week when he dropped a match to high-flying Evan Bourne. In their rematch this week, Swagger wasn't about to allow his strut to be stripped. He grounded Bourne's aerial assault and proved that he will be a force to contend with when he joins Team Miz this Sunday at Survivor Series against Bourne and Team Morrison.

AND OF COURSE MY FAVORITE MATCH...

    * WWE Champion John Cena & World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker def. Triple H & Shawn Michaels and Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show in a Non-Title Match:

Madison Square Garden has been witness to some of WWE's most amazing Superstars throughout its storied history: Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant and Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka to name but a few. Rare, nonetheless, seems the time when such legends converge at once. That was inarguably the case, however, as WWE Champion John Cena teamed with World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker against Triple H & Shawn Michaels and Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match.

Looming large in the subtext was Survivor Series, during which The Champ will face The Game and HBK in a Triple Threat Match while The Phenom must battle Jericho and Show in a three-man affair. Tonight, though, all six Superstars would compete in one colossal clash.

In the end, the two World Champions would prevail when Cena secured the victory for his team. As if to let the WWE Universe know that he needs no assistance, The Deadman suddenly turned on his partner and Tombstoned Cena, leaving the WWE Champion razed and confused.

THE MIDNIGHT HOUR #19 (SMACKDOWN HIGHLIGHTS)..

Friday, November 13, 2009, 11:53 PM EST [General]

Good evening and welcome to "The Midnight Hour". On tonight's show, I will be talking about two different topics. The first topic is the Smackdown highlights:

    *Beth Phoenix def. Local Athlete:

For the third week in a row, "The Fabulous Firebird" decimated a local competitor, showing the full measure of her dominance before finishing off her unlucky prey with the earth-shattering Glam Slam.

Will The Glamazon's superiority lead Team Michelle to definitive success against Team Mickie at Survivor Series?

    * Drew McIntyre vs. Finlay ended in a double disqualification:

Two weeks after McIntyre viciously attacked Finlay before the bell, the Superstar that Mr. McMahon personally signed to SmackDown continued his rampage through Friday nights. After the official stopped his return match with Finlay because neither Superstar would separate at his command, The Belfast Brawler attempted to call on his fateful shillelagh. However, McIntyre quickly countered with an effective kick, delivering a menacing shillelagh assault of his own.

Could McIntyre's aggression be the difference when Team Morrison meets Team Miz at Survivor Series?

    * Natalya def. Mickie James:

Thanks to the treacherous actions of Women's Champion Michelle McCool and Layla, Natalya triumphed over Mickie James. Just as it looked as if Mickie was gaining the upper hand over The Hart Dynasty Diva, the devious duo appeared, proceeding to destroy Mickie's ring attire. Natalya used the distraction to lock in the excruciating Sharpshooter, giving her opponent no choice but to submit.

How will things continue to heat up as Team Mickie prepares to face Team Michelle at Survivor Series?

    * CM Punk def. R-Truth:

One week after a fast count by aggravated WWE official Scott Armstrong

cost CM Punk his match against R-Truth, The Straightedge Superstar overcame the rapping Superstar with a little help from his surroundings. As R-Truth was escaping the GTS and attempting a counter pinfall, The Second City Saint suddenly dropped down upon him, clutching the ropes to secure his three-count, just outside the official's view.

What effect will Punk's victory have on the momentum of Team Kingston vs. Team Orton at Survivor Series?

    * Intercontinental Champion John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler ended in a double count-out:

Blinded by the pure intensity of battle, Dolph Ziggler hurled both himself and The Guru of Greatness off the top turnbuckle and out onto the floor. The impact of the fall assured than neither Superstar would be able to answer the official's count.

The WWE Universe later learned that Morrison and Ziggler will return to settle things next week during a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match, with The Friday night Delight's prestigious Intercontinental Championship once again on the line.

Who will walk into their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match with the gold around their waist?

    * Survivor Series Contract Signing between Rey Mysterio and Batista turns volatile:

Batista demanded that in addition to the standard Survivor Series match contract, Rey Mysterio must sign a "Hold Harmless Agreement," preventing legal action against The Animal for anything he might do to his former comrade-in-arms when they meet at the Nov. 22 pay-per-view. After reluctantly signing it, The Ultimate Underdog proceeded to flip the signing table over onto Batista, adding insult to injury as he stepped onto it while making his exit.

    * World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker def. Unified Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho:

For the first time ever, the self-proclaimed "best at what he does" went one-on-one with The Phenom

. And in the climatic finish of an absolutely brutal battle that kept the United Kingdom on the edge of their seats from the start, Undertaker ultimately reigned supreme with the dreaded Hell's Gate. When Jericho's partner-in-gold, Big Show, attacked after the bell, the double-team drew the Big Red wrath of The Deadman's brother, Kane.

As a result, Mr. McMahon revealed that next week, Jericho and The Big Show will face the reunited Brothers of Destruction.

What effect will the monumental main event have on the Survivor Series Triple Threat

    Match just 48-hours later?

    AND NOW THE SECOND TOPIC...

    * LINDA MC'MAHON AHEAD OF CHRIS DOOD IN U.S SENATE RACE:

A Quinnipiac poll shows Democratic Senator Christopher Dodd in trouble of losing his seat to a Republican challenger. Dodd trails Robb Simmons by a 49% to 38% margin. The poll also shows that Dodd is also trailing former WWE CEO Linda McMahon 43% to 41%. Also running for the Republican nomination is Former Ambassador Tom Foley, stockbroker Peter Schiff and state Sen. Sam Caligiuri.
