Hey Guys and Gals it has been ages sicne i last wrote a blog so i thought i should probably give everyone an update, also i thought i might share my thoughts on wrestlemania with you all, a sort of review if you like lol.
Well life is good at the moment i'm on a two week break from college so have some time to relax and catch up with friends and such like. I've finally found myself a decent guy who makes me very happy and i am very much in love with, he is the best thing that has happened to me in such a long time, i can't even begin to explain lol XD The only bad thing at the moment is my hip quite sore, i have no idea what i've done to it but i do know it is killing me XD
On to wrestlemania........
Wow, wrestlemania 25! It is certainly one i will never forget, i already cannot wait for it to come out on DVD so i can watch it again more closely! I think the Money in the bank match was certainly a brilliant opening match it got me pumped for the rest of the evening, some of the moves Kofi Kingston was pulling were awesome!! The jump through the ladder to kick finlay was probably my favourite :) I am very happy CM Punk won i think he deserved to win, he put up an awesome fight and the briefcase definitely looks good in his hands ;D
Next up, the 25 diva battle royal. Hmmm. Don't get me wrong it was entertaining but i can't help feeling a little disappionted about it, i would have liked to actually have seen a real Miss Wrestlemania crowned. I liked the way that they brang back some of the "retired" divas, definitely the best idea involved in the match.
The 3 on 1 elimination match was good, entertaining and awesome to see more of the legends again. Disappointed that Jericho won but happy with how Micky Rourke took care of him :) Still haven't seen his movie "The Wrestler" yet but him taking on Jericho like that has made me want to see it even more, just because he did XD
Got to be one of the most emotionally charged matches of the night, Brother vs Brother, Jeff vs Matt. I hate watching them fight each other, and this match was worse than any they have had before. It was epic and i don't think it will be forgotten anytime soon, the moves they were pulling were amazing as always, high risk and breath taking to watch. Jeff's leapfrog over the ladder was AWESOME although i was cringing when i knew what he was going to do it was still brilliant to watch. Then Matt's follow up with the twist of fate in the steel chair...ouch. That was crazy. Brilliant but devestating. I'm not really sure what i think about the result. I love both of the Hardy brothers, they are my inspiration in life, the people i look up to, the people who encourage me to be me day after day but this storyline disturbs me. I'm happy Matt won but I'm really sad for Jeff at the same time and i think part of me wishes Jeff won instead, i hate Matt's attitude as a heel, but i will always love his wrestling. Jeff put up an amazing fight as ever and his performance was more thrilling than ever and i could feel the emotion in it from both brothers. Its one i will watch again and again but i don't know if will ever be able to enjoy it as it enjoy other matches.
Rey Mysterio, what a legend. 21 seconds to defeat JBL. It was brief but exhiliratingly so. I am very happy to see Rey with the I.C belt its about time he held some gold again. And the added bonus of JBL quitting was cool. Strange but cool. I don't really understand his reasons for quitting other than nothing is really going right for him at the minute.
The Undertaker was EPIC!!!!! I will never forget this match. The amount of super kicks he kicked out of was amazing. I kept thinking oh my god this it but something told me to willing him on and not to let my faith faulter and he came through, he won! The streak continues much to my elation, 17-0, the best sounding stats ever to me right now. The moves that he was pulling were awesome, the mix of his old school stuff and his more up to date stuff was brilliant as always and worked really well. It was the match of the night for me. It had me clinging to the seat, off my seat, biting my nails, screaming at the televsion screen and jumping for joy :D It was the most intense match of my life. I was so desperate for Undertaker to win and he did and wow i just cannot put into words how happy that makes me. He is the ultimate in wrestling, he is the man who got me into wrestling. He like the hardy's inspires me and amazes me and gives me chills when he enters the ring. He is Wrestling to me. He personifies it for me.
And of course, the penultimate match, John Cena vs The Big Show vs Edge. What a match. John Cena came through for the fan nation and won the belt to bring back what they were really wrestling for, not someones heart but love for the sport, love for what he was doing. He was always the champ to me but now for all the people who said he wouldn't win he can prove it with the belt around his waist. Many thanks to Cena for that match and that victory.
The final Match up, Triple H vs Randy Orton. Brilliant match no doubt but i was definitely gald to see the king of kings victorious. Not just because of what Randy has been doing to the Macmahons, i honestly really am not bothered either way about them, i think triple H is definitely the better wrestler and although i think he has held that belt far more times than is necessary i am glad he has it.
I kind of went on a whole lot there didn't i? lol. Well wrestlemania 25 was a big thing for me so i didn't want to make a half hearted review. It was an historic night and deserved a legthy detailed and probably a little bit too opinionated response. But i hope you'll appreciate my thoughts and i'd like to know if you agree with me or not so feel free to leave comments :) Okay well i think i am done here for now, hopefully it won't be so long before i update again but incase it is I'm sorry in advance ;D
Love to all xoxo
