    McCool's Universe Comments

Monday, April 27, 2009, 07:33 PM EST [General]

I may not be a complete expert in wrestling, however I have been watching it religiously for 25 years now.  I understand a lot of backstage politics that take place and I get that I am just a fan and all...but I can spot a poser when I see one.

Not since Ashley Massaro have there ever been a more complete poser than Michelle McCool.  I can't stand her.  For starters she looks like Sam The Eagle from the Muppet Show, and for the most part...she CAN NOT Wrestle!!!  She claims she can.  She even tells Diva's like Natalya that they need work  and gives them advice, when it clearly should be the other way around.

But this struck me as funny:

"Yes there are a lot of girls (on the WWE roster). Sometimes, entirely too many for my liking. Simply put, quarters can get a little cramped and I get tired of hearing about how they wanna do this and wanna do that. I have a great idea. How about learning how to work inside the ring and give me a little competition. How about that?"

Um... take your own advice sweetheart!  Learn something!!  Instead of going in the ring and executing a move and then STAND there thinking about what should come next, maybe you should learn to build a match, and work with the person you are facing off against instead of just working against them to make them look like sh**!  How's that for advice?  If you learn how to wrestle and lead a match and actually make the other person look good...then I'll have more respect for you.  just because you wore the "Diva's Championship" doesn't make you good.  For me, that title is meaningless.  An accessory that would come with Barbie or perhaps My Lil' Pony.  It's a toy!

There are Diva's in the WWE who are way better than you (except for Candice, Maria, Alicia, and the Bella's).  Women like Beth Phoenx, Natalya, Mickie James, Melina, Kelly Kelly, Katie Lea, Jillian, Gail Kim, and Maryse.  You will never be as good as them and you certainly will never be able to perform to the calibre of Trish Stratus, Lita, Ivory, Victoria or Molly Holly.

So STOP trying to B.S. your way through this business.  Because that McTool...Makes you a poser!

Matt Hardy is Number 1, and it's about time!!!!

Sunday, November 16, 2008, 04:33 AM EST [General]

My absolute favourite thing about the WWE is simply...Matt Hardy, the ECW Champion. He's performing to his absolute best these days, proving that this is what he lives for. Like CM Punk, Matt Hardy is a shining example of a lockeroom and company leader. For someone who has gained so much notoriety, and popularity, Matt Hardy has remained humble and true to himself. He's maintained who he is, maybe even found himself in a business where so many others lose themselves. I'm a proud M'fer, but more importantly I'm so proud of Matt Hardy. He really is a true inspiration to me. It's because of him that I keep writing every week, and watching wrestling even when it's hard to keep an interest. He gives me faith in myself, and faith that wrestling will get better once again. As far as I'm concerned, as long as Matt Hardy is there, it's perfect! Thank-you Matt Hardy! Speaking of Matt Hardy, I'm proud to announce that Matt Hardy is Number 1 on WWE's Weekly top 25. Great Job there Sensei!

Check out the rest of My Skirt Sheet over on MySpace.  I put together my own make believe "Dexter" hit list.  I get overly brutally honest but I can't help it.  TNA and WWE are messing with what was once great wrestling.  Check out what I said and who I held responsible.

It's Turning Into A Total Gong Show!

Tuesday, August 5, 2008, 12:38 PM EST [General]

It's been a while since I've wrote for WWE Fan Nation, but I think it has more to do that I have my own publication over on MySpace.  Yet it may also pertain to the idea that if you haven't got anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all.

So I will counter some bad points, with some good points.  It seems only fair.

Good:  The Dirt Sheet with The Miz & John Morrison...  I love it!!  I never really watch the live broadcasts that much because I have to dig out ear phones since my laptop speakers blew a long time ago.  But I did listen to a recent Dirt Sheet and I was hooked.  I've watched every single one since then and I think they are hilarious.   I will admitt that at first I wasn't crazy about the Miz, but I am now.  I've always been into John Morrison, more so since he dropped the Johnny Nitro gimmick.   These two have a lot of charisma between the two of them and they have one of the most sexiest traits in a man, and that is, humour.  Those two have it in spades.  In fact I was so impressed with the Dirt Sheet that over on my blog on MySpace, I renamed my Dishin' With Diva, to the Skirt Sheet.  I would love to see more from the Shaman of Sexy and The Chick Magnet in the ring and on the mic live at ECW Events.  In fact tonight (or Friday here in Canada) that's exactly what The Miz & Morrison are doing.  They are taking the Dirt Sheet LIVE!  I can only imagine what those two will have in store for the ECW Champions, Mark Henry (who btw, I hate and have always thought had no talent), and the incomparable, Matt Hardy.  I guess we'll all have to tune in to see.

Bad:  Mike Adamle as GM of RAW...I honestly have no bloody idea what the WWE were thinking when they gave this position to someone who can not only get the wrestler's names messed up, but has no idea what the terminology means.  Um...duh!   I'm gonna be honest here, if the WWE was going for shock factor, they succeeded.  Because at first, with the way Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr were speaking before their match against Lawler and Michael Cole,  I was going with The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase as GM.  Then Cole got booted out so to speak and Adamle came down to the ring.  I groaned, but I was still certain that it was the elder DiBiase.  It wasn't until Jim Ross showed up at the announce table that I started to think that maybe it was Good Ol' JR who was going to be our new General Manager.  It isn't excatly a surprise that he wasn't happy to be over on SmackDown (though as of now I prefer to watch SmackDown over RAW, since a lot of my fav stars got stuck over their, and it doesn't have John Cena).  Then low and behold I look up during that last segment and Adamle is in the ring and I was like, What the Fuh-da-ga (fudge)!!!!    If it was any clearer that Vince McMahon is trying to subconsiously destroy his business, than he's on the fast track to doing so. What the hell kinda bad crack is the WWE smoking? And of course that is opposed to good crack since bascially all crack is bad. But regardless of the quality of crack being smoked. WTF? This is a horrible decision to put someone so clueless about the business he's currently working in as a General Manager. The only thing they did right here was that if they wanted someone the fans would **** all over, then they succeeded. As a commentator he was about as good as Ashley Massaro was at wrestling. Hell, a fart could call a match better than he could. And don't even get me started on actually knowing the business. He's like toe-jam with acne on top of it. I'd rather eat my mother's meat loaf than have to live through this. Wouldn't Candice Michelle make a better GM than this retarded weed-f***er? Seriously this has to be the dumbest move the WWE ever made. So in the words of Stephen from Big Brother 10 on this matter... "SUCK IT BI***ES!"

Good:  Beth Phoenix & Santino Marella...I was never a huge fan of Santino but was always a MAJOR fan of Beth.  Beth because she basically is restoring my faith in women's wrestling.  She's making it OK not to be a dumb-big-boobed-woman-who-can't-wrestle.  She's curvy, strong, beautiful, and actually has in-ring ability.  But anyways... enough about that.  I was probably the only person happy to see Beth get in the ring against Santino.  I was thinking, that for this to work, Beth had to beat him.  And when she did, I was happier.  We all know it's not the first time since a woman wrestled a man, but they never made it look strong and legit.  This time, they did, and it worked.  It worked in both Beth and Santino's favour.  The kiss (kisses) work as well.  Because unlike say the first kiss of Matt & Lita, or Stacy & Orton, these two made it look more realistic.  You know that nervousness of the first kiss where it's almost awkward and then even though it happened your totally unsure of what it meant?  That's excactly what these two did, and their facial expressions right down to their body language sold it amazingly.  Santino cracks me up, and with this "storyline" is adding a bit more dimension to the Glamazon as well.  It's kinda fun to see where this will go.  As long as they don't pull a Mark Henry/Mae Young, and Beth doesn't give birth to a body part, we'll be just fine.

Bad & Good:  Matt Hardy Losing the United States Championship to Shelton Benjamin...  I was really perturbed at this. Just ask my Fatal 4-Way Buddies and my Sister. She was with me when I, amazingly as this sounds, controlled yet expressed my displeasure about Benjamin becoming United States Champion in a calm and collective manner. Now ordinarily I wouldn't give a **** but he beat my man! However, I do have to say, that the turn around on the Tuesday night after the GAB, helped smooth out the situation (at least for me). Matt Hardy defeated, The Miz, John Morrrison, and Finlay to become the number one contender for Mark Henry's ECW Championship. My guess, and I really sincerely hope I don't jinx Matt, is that the WWE has bigger plans for him. I mean why take one championship title off the waist of one of their most popular stars so soon? Unless they were plannning on putting an even BIGGER title around his waist? Huh? You feelin' me?  The WWE did their duty, they fulfilled their guilty obligation of giving Mark Henry a championship to shut him up about Michael Hayes' comments back at WrestleMania 24 weekend, just as they most likely covered their **** by awarding both Kofi Kingston and Shelton Benjamin titles as well. Now it's time to award the ECW Championship to someone who actually deserves the recognition of his hard work. And HARD is the root word of HARDY! Ahem...that sounded extremely dirty...but I like it!

BAD:  Michelle McCool... It's no secret that on the Fatal 4-Way on MySpace that I HATE her!  She is SOOOOO  not Cool!!!  The odds of a real fight between the Diva Search reject and the 3rd Generation Hart Family Member would never result in McCool winning.  She would be friggin' squashed!!!  Have you ever really truly watched her "wrestle" (and I use that term loosely), she is thinking her every move.  Wrestling isn't about thinking, it's about instinct and pre-planning.  Watch McCool's eyes next time she's in the ring, you can see the uncertainty there.  It's like she can't remember what move she was suppose to do next so she's thinking about her opponent and what they are doing so that she can remember.  The Diva's Championship is  a joke anyways.  With nine other championships floating around the only belt that didn't have an equal belt, was the Women's Championship over on RAW.  Now with the sister belt on SmackDown, it sort of takes away the credibility of the Women's Championship and all who deserved it before the Diva's title appeared.  If the WWE was seriously going to build up the Diva's Championship to be a serious title, then put it on Victoria or Natalya's waist, those are the only two over on SmackDown who can actually work a match.

Good:  More Women built like Women and Less like a Barbie Doll...  Since Trish and Lita left, there was only two women who was capable of working a match, and they were Mickie James and Victoria.  With the Diva Search contest injecting a boat load of talentless spotlight hogs such as Ashley Massaro, Layla, Maria, Michelle McCool and Candice, the Women's division was looking fairly bleak.  Melina quickly established herself as a legitimate player in the ring and thus giving women's fans a third person to look to to leading the Women's Division back up from the groud where it plummeted.  Jillian Hall is one of the most over looked women wrestlers in the entire WWE, and she still is.  Victoria right now, is basically stuck.  And stuck in a spot where she doesn't deserve to be.  The women that were now parading around the WWE couldn't carry a match if was mapped out on a Twister mat.  I mean, Kelly Kelly, Layla, Brooke, Candice, Trashley, Maria, Michelle, Cherry, and whoever else I may have forgotten, sucked!  Granted, I've seen vast improvment lately in Kelly Kelly, and even in Maria (but not much in Maria), they still aren't legitamte players in the ring.  Never in my life was I more happier to have seen the return of Beth Phoenix.  She was big, strong and gorgeous and not to mention could actually work a match and make it look good and make her opponents look good (except Ashley since no one could make her look good).  Then we get Katie Lea, yet another woman who is strong, curvy, beautiful and a damn good wrestler.  Then one more... Natalya.  Probably the most anticapted debut for me since Trish's retirement.  Again, Strong, Curvy, abd beautiful and an even better wrestler.  See there's hope.  Hope that a Barbie Doll or Porn Star or Escort, won't be running the women's division.  Hope that a real woman who came to the WWE to BE A WRESTLER and not a MODEL, can lead the division back to the top where it had once been.

Ok that seems to be quite enough for me this time. I'm sure I will have either made tons of you agree with me or really pissed off a lot of people.

My Dish on Night of Champions!!!

Saturday, June 21, 2008, 02:37 AM EST [General]

Well this is sort of a preview of my blog piece for the Fatal 4-Way over on MySpace.  Actually it's my entire blog piece for this weekend.  I wasn't planning on writing for the Fatal 4-Way this week as I really desperately need a night off but here it is...

Just a warning, I get a bit crass in this blog.  I'm kinda mean!

    _______________________________________________________

Yeah, so I kinda fibbed here. I know I said I was likely to take the week off. And many of you are probably groaning that I didn't. But I plan to cash in soon enough with weekend off. As it is, it's a bit of a struggle tonight to actually think of something constructive to say. So I thought I would get a bit premature here and go with...The Night Of Champions, pay-per-view, formally known as Vengeance. Yay for a name change. What I figured I would do is do a run-down of the matches for next weeks Pay-Per-View, so that I can do stuff on the Draft next weeks since I can't do anything more about the draft than **** and moan about it and I've already done that...twice! With the pending Draft happening this Monday night, I'm not convinced too many titles will actually change hands. But I guess we'll see.

Kane is set to defend his ECW Championship against The Big Show. The Big Show was a former ECW Champion back in 2006 before he left the company to do things. Like lose weight and rehab his back and knees. This is a tough match to call. Both men are giants, Kane is no slouch at 7'0 326-pounds, but Show has about 115-pounds on Kane at 441-pounds. It's the match of the giants. To see who can strong hold who. Kane has held the title since WrestleMania, and Big Show has yet to hold a Championship since his return at No Way Out this past February. I think this may be the one time that the Championship would change hands, except I think Kane will retain by way of Disqualification. Meaning, Big Show gets DQ-ed!

The Miz and John Morrison will defend their WWE Tag Team Championships against "father and son" team of Finlay and Hornswoggle. To me this would be a no contest but that little person is a feisty bugger and you never know if Horny could actually become WWE Tag Team Champion with his pseudo father, Finlay. Face it, The ****...err...I mean the Miz and John Morrison have had the WWE Tag Team Championships for some time now. Seven months to be exact. They're cocky and arrogant but maybe they have a reason to be. That's why they're still champions. I believe that John Morrison and The Miz will retain their Tag Team Championships.

Now for the Match I'll be waiting for... Matt Hardy will defend his United States Championship against former ECW Champion, Chavo Guerrero I'm not looking forward to a Chavo match as much as I am for it being a Matt Match. I'm probably one of the biggest M'fer's out there and support Matt Hardy 100% in his career. I'm totally on board with campaigning to get him to the World Championship, but for now, we need to make him one of the strongest United States Champions since MVP. Chavo Guerrero is an excellent wrestler, and an even better antagonist. Matt Hardy has his fans, his health and his drive to get him to the top. He's a harder worker and has a stronger head on his shoulders. Matt Hardy will retain his championship, as I think Chavo Guerrero will be disqualified due to outside interference by Bam Neely.

The World Tag Team Champions, Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes go up against a third generationer, Ted DiBiase Jr and his mystery partner, rumoured to be third generationer DH Smith, or TJ Wilson. One or the other. We have yet to see the Million Dollar Heir in the ring, so it's hard to speculate how this match will go. As far as my extreme distaste for Choda Boy Rhodes goes, I have to remain unbiased. He and Holly have had decension within the ranks of their team lately. Holly doesn't like younger talent, he's always made that well known, but does that include his partner? Choda thinks that he's capable of making team decisions without discussing it with his more experienced partner. If Cody Rhodes makes business decisions like his old man, Dusty Rhodes, than this team is sunk! If DiBiase's partner is indeed, DH Smith, we can count on a decent match up. DH Smith may lack the size his father, The British Bulldog had, but he's a good wrestler. After all he does have those Hart family genes running through his veins. If it wasn't for the first look at the Million Dollar heir in his debut match, then I would have deemed this match as the "GO PEE" match of the night. I believe a title change will happen in this match and Mystery Partner and Ted DiBiase Jr will walk out of this Pay-Per-View as World Tag Team Champions.

This is an unlikely match. Mickie James will defend her Women's Championship against Katie Lea Burchill. Katie Lea last week got a clean win over the Women's Champion. Original rumours had this match as a Ladder Match with Beth Phoenix and Mickie James. I guess that has been put on hold. Too bad because I was seriously looking forward to that. However, in Ohio Valley Wrestling in 2007, it was former Women's champion, Beth Phoenix taking on Katie Lea in a...you guessed it, ladder match. So could we see that coming either at Great American Bash next month or at Summer Slam? I only hope we do. I just need to say that it looks like Katie Lea pilfered Lita's pre-Hardy Boyz wardrobe. You remember the days when Lita worked with Essa Rios? You don't? Then I don't blame you. Haha!!! Anyways, I predict that for now Mickie James is safe and will keep her Women's Championship.

Edge will defend his coveted World Championship against The Animal, Batista. Edge has the backing of an army standing behind him. His engagement to the General Manager, Vickie Guerrero, her nephew, Chavo and his body guard, Bam, as well as Hawkins and Ryder all in his corner. Is that miniature Army going to be enough to stop The Animal from taking that Championship away from Edge? Probably. Not to take anything away from Batista, but all the muscles in the world is not going to help you when you're up against one of the smartest Canadians ever to grace the WWE. Yeah it's true, we're generally better lovers than fighters, but Edge has proven (time and time again) that he's both. He'll fight for what is his and right now, what's his is the World Championship. Whether or not Batista actually comes out on top, he won't be leaving with that title belt around his waist. SmackDown General Manager will see to that. However, I predict a sneak attack and a cashing in of a certain Money In the Bank opportunity by CM Punk. The Straight Edge taking on The Cutting Edge, it what may just prove to be the upset of a lifetime. However that is a long shot, and I believe that CM Punk will keep his Money In The Bank brief case close to his side for the time being. Edge will walk out with the World Championship still around his waist. After all, Undertaker is due back soon and he'll need incentive to go after Edge.

Groan! Not this again... The King of Kings, Triple H, will defend his WWE Championship against what Sarge refers to the Cat Killer, John Cena. It's true, every time Cena wins, God kills a kitten. John Cena goes from defeating JBL right back at the top to take on Triple H for the WWE Championship. No doubt the belt will end back on Cena's waist eventually as it's still the tacky Spinner Style title. Yeah its kinda cool to look at but it's a novelty belt. It takes the importance out of the championship. OMG I totally just got that!!! When it is around Cena's waist the importance is already gone regardless, that's why it's a novelty belt. OMG I must have been on drugs not to have figured that out sooner. I do not look forward to yet another Triple H vs. Cena match. In fact, I may not stick around to see this match. With any luck it'll be last so I can leave for work early. You can only tolerate so much eye pain. Cena has been walking around making an ass of himself by referring that he and Triple H are 2 of the Best Wrestlers of all time, well he's half right. Triple H IS one of the Best, but Cena, he's funny!!! C'mon! Lmao!!! He's a good joke teller. Thinking he's one of the Best. Hell thinking he's a wrestler at all is rather hilarious!!! What the douche has Cena been smoking? Anyways, Triple H will walk out Champion.

And one more thing? There's a belt missing. Hell if you wanna get technical, there are two belts missing but since the Cruiserweight championship is nowhere to be found lately, there really is only one prominent championship missing. The Intercontinental Championship. The question is, will Chris Jericho be defending his Intercontinental Championship against the ultimate ****, Shawn Michaels? HBPray might not be ready to return. I'll admit that I haven't been paying attention to his antics this time around since he's basically full of **** that I haven't believed a word out of his mouth since the Screw Job back in '97. Lets say for the sake of things, that Chris Jericho IS defending his Intercontinental Championship against Shawn Michaels. I would have to say that Shawn Michaels will win the match by disqualification or Count-out, but will not walk out Intercontinental Champion.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like all good comedy routines and self-righteous opinionated writers, it's time to end this ball-buster. There could have been so much more potential in this years Night of Champions Pay-Per-View, but as I sat here running it down, I couldn't help by feel a major disappointment. I'm not sure spending $39.99 for just Matt Hardy's match is worth it. I guess we'll never know until next weekend whether I bite the bullet and get it.

Take care and happy Summer Dayz to you all!
