What's up beautiful people? Welcome to another edition of Main Event Plaza! What a great show we had last night! Absolutely amazing. And we all have one man to thank for it. I've much to tell you. Let's begin!

Before he was fired by Vince McMahon, Donald Trump decided that he didn't believe in General Managers. Instead, he appointed a special guest host every week to run things on RAW. Mr. McMahon didn't exactly agree with this, but he went with it. And this week, the special guest host was none other than The Animal Batista! He went on to state that there would be a Night of Champions tournament, to determine who would face Randy Orton for the title in four weeks. The matches would be: John Cena vs. The Miz and Triple H vs. MVP. The two finalists would face each other next week on RAW.

Then, Dave was rudely interrupted. By Randy Orton. He told Batista that he shouldn't have come back, and asked him what was stopping him from coming down to the ring and beating him senseless. Dave said  that nothing was stopping him, except for the fact that if he even looked at him the wrong way, he wouls fire all three of them on the spot. And he went on to put Randy in a 3-on-1 gauntlet match against 3 of RAW's newest acquisitions.

Per Batista's order, Triple H faced MVP in the first match of the night to determine the No. 1 contender. Now, The Bash having been Sunday, Triple H was not 100%. His knee was still bothering him, bad for him, but good for MVP. Montel attacked the knee all through the match, but Triple H was able to pedigree his way to victory. And just a little bit closer to Orton's title.

What happens when you take two of the WWE's greatest egomaniacs and put them in a match for tag team gold? They win, anyway they can. Carlito and Primo had their rematch against Edge and Chris Jericho. At many points during this match, the Colon brothers were in complete control. Unfortunately, a small mishap involving Primo and Jericho caused Edge and Jericho to retain their gold.

Fresh off of a win at The Bash, John Cena was set to take on the Miz once more in order to advance in the tournament. Miz targeted John's surgically repaired neck the entire match. The Miz did seem quite angry last night, and was more aggressive than usual. It didn't matter, because John was able to slap on the STF. And much to my delight, the Miz tapped out. So next week, it will be John Cena vs. Triple H for No. 1 contendership.

To determine the No. 1 contender for the Divas championship, we had ourselves a diva Fatal Fourway match. It was Mickie James vs. Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Rosa Mendes. The match was great, even as Maryse looked on from the announcers table. In the end, Mickie picked up the win, and a shot at Maryse's championship. Looks like the days of avoiding Mickie are over, Maryse.

With an opportunity at the United States championship hanging in the balance, the Big Show went one-on-one with Kofi Kingston. The match was usual Big Show, manhandling everyone in sight. Unfortunately for him, the match ended in a double count out, when neither superstar made it back into the ring.

After the Bash and 3 Stages of Hell, Randy Orton could barely even walk straight :). His head had been bashed in with a sledgehammer, and he wasn't feeling too good. But he had to get his stuff together because he had quite a challenge ahead of him. His first opponent in the gauntlet was. . .Evan Bourne! Randy looked none too pleased when Evan came out, and with good reason. It's hard to keep Evan still during a match, let alone on the ground. Evan gave it all he had, but Randy picked up the win.

Orton's next opponent was. . .Jack Swagger. I was really hoping Swagger would give Orton a run for his money, but we all had something totally different coming. Swagger put Randy in ONE hold. Then he exited the ring and stood on the ring apron while the ref counted to 10. Randy had won by count out. Then Swagger proceeded to suck up to Orton. He said he always liked and respected him, and he was hoping to make an impression. To top it all off, he shook Orton's hand. Well, Swagger certainly made an impression. Within 2 minutes, he was hated by the entire WWE Universe.

I think by this time, Randy was begging for a miracle. Well, he didn't get one. Randy's final opponent was none other than. . . MARK HENRY!!! You could actually see Randy practically begging whatever he believes in for mercy. Mark lured Orton into a false sense of security by doing exactly what Jack Swagger had done. Only, when the ref reached five, Henry climbed back into the ring. Randy then proceeded to get on his knees and beg for mercy from the world's strongest man. He didn't get it. He was then beat within an inch of his life by Mark Henry. You're probably wondering where Legacy was. Batista threatened to fire them if they interfered with Randy's matches. Randy Orton was broken into a million pieces and then pinned. This earned some applause from Batista, and cheers of delight from the WWE Universe. Now that's priceless!

What's up beautiful people? Welcome to another edition of Main Event Plaza! WOW! Last night's commercial-free RAW certainly did deliver. New owner Donald Trump told everyone he was going to do things that were unprecedented, and that he did. You'll see what I mean. Let's begin!

Speaking of the Donald, we kicked off RAW with him. He welcomed everyone to RAW, and informed the RAW audience of a few treats. Of course, the RAW television audience would have a commercial-free telecast. The live audience however, would be getting a full refund for whatever they paid if they kept their ticket stub.

For almost two months now, The Miz has been mocking John Cena. Well John came out last night to confront The Miz. He told him that he was always trying to make a statement, but had not been able to. He then proceeded to tell him that he wasn't a reality show has-been, he was a WWE superstar never-was. Personally, I couldn't agree more. No offense to those of you who actually like the Miz. John told him that he would main event a pay-per-view for the first time ever when he faced him at the Bash. The bad news was, Miz is going to face JOHN CENA at the Bash.

 You all know by now that I love tag team matches. And last night, Trump treated us all to a great one. The team of Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio and the Great Khali took on the team of Edge, Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler. The match was awesome, plenty of power moves, courtesy of Khali. It also had plenty of high flying suicidal maneuvers, courtesy of Jeff and Rey Rey. In the end, Jeff Hardy pinned Dolph Ziggler for the win! CM Punk, who was doing guest commentary at ringside, climbed into the ring and lifted Jeff's arm in victory. Jeff thought it was the ref, and when he realized it wasn't he left the ring and gave Punk a disgusted look.

To build momentum toward their Unified Undisputed tag team championship match at the Bash, Cody Rhodes took on one half of the tag champs, Primo. Taking a page out of Randy Orton's book, Cody just barely scrapped a victory over Primo. Legacy certainly has some momentum going into the title match this Sunday.

Last week, the Donald told us that Triple H would face Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match for the WWE championship last night. There is an extreme amount of personal and professional animosity between these two individuals. As foreseen, this match was nothing short of amazing, but grueling. Early on in the match, Orton attacked the Game's knee, giving him a distinct disadvantage that would play out at the end of the match. Toward the end, Triple H gave Randy the Pedigree, out of what I think was pure instinct since his knee was hurting so bad. Unfortunately the move hurt Hunter as well as Orton. The ref was nearing ten, and the Game was desperately trying to lift himself up using a ladder, not being able to stand on his own. He was so close to making the count, when the ladder fell over, and sadly so did he. This caused the match to end in a draw.

Out of the "goodness of his heart", Trump was going to allow Vince McMahon to make a farewell address to the RAW audience. Well, Vince was nothing short of absolutely furious about the events that had transpired that night. He told the Donald in no uncertain terms that if he kept providing commercial-free telecasts and refunding shows, he would go bankrupt in about six months. He then offered to buy back RAW for double what he paid Trump for it. Never one to refuse a good deal, Trump accepted and RAW was back under McMahon ownership. Then Vince did something that I'm sure he's wanted to do for a while now. "Donald Trump, YOU'RE FIRED". But the Donald would not be outdone, so he slapped Vince across the face.

This did not sit well with Mr. McMahon, and much to my delight, he took out all his rage on Randy Orton. He informed him that he would face Triple H again for the championship on Sunday, in a 3 Stages of Hell match. The stages would be a standard wrestling match, a Falls Count Anywhere match, and a Stretcher match. We haven't seen this match in nearly 7 years! Vince must be angry.

We also had some diva tag team action last night. Mickie James and the Bella Twins took on Maryse, Beth Phoenix, and Rosa Mendes. It's been said that Maryse is trying to avoid Mickie, and I have to agree. Maryse never tagged in when Mickie was in the ring. Then Mickie did something I'm truly proud of. She nailed Rosa Mendes with the greatest superkick since Shawn Michaels! This allowed her to pin Rosa for her team's win!

The Big Show has has a problem with John Cena since Wrestlemania. He's always attacking him like he has something to prove. Last night, he was once again in a match with John. All throughout the match, Show attacked John's ribs. He almost got a win over the Big Show, until the Miz interfered and cost John the match. Not to worry, the Miz will get what's coming to him this Sunday at the Bash.

Randy was making his way to his car with his luggage after the show, still in a lot of pain :). Triple H then attacked him from behind, and put Orton against the trunk of his car, and slammed the hood against his back. Hunter then sat down next to him and told him "This isn't over". "You're going to Hell".

Well people, that was RAW. All in all, an unprecedented exciting show. I don't know about you, but I am very much looking forward to the Bash this Sunday. Well, that's all I got for right now. Thank you for reading Main Event Plaza! Take it easy.

What's up beautiful people? Welcome to another edition of Main Event Plaza! This won't be a regular review blog, but I will express my opinion on a matter that requires some attention. Let's begin.

As you all know, last night on RAW, Mr. McMahon came to make an announcement. It was assumed that he was going to appoint a new General Manager for RAW since Vickie Guerrero quit last week (CHAMPAGNE, FIREWORKS, & CONFETTI!!!). Well, we soon learned that Vince was going to let another person make that announcement. He also proceeded to inform the WWE Universe that he was selling Monday Night RAW. Nobody expected Vince to say that, I certainly didn't. My immediate worse thought was that he sold RAW to Eric Bischoff. But we all had another thing coming. Something that Vince himself said that there used to be "no chance in hell" of.

RAW's new owner was going to be announced right after the WWE championship Fatal Four Way match. Vince came to the ring, and told us that he had sold RAW to none other than. . . . . . Donald J. Trump. Talk about no chance in hell! I didn't know what to make of it, but during his video satellite visit, the new owner of RAW began to tear into Vince. He told him that he was cheap, selfish, that he didn't care about the fans. He then told Vince that he was going to do something that Vince had been too cheep to do in 17 years. Next week, he said RAW will be commercial-free.

That being said, we proceeded with RAW, although many people (myself included) were still shocked that Vince sold RAW to Trump. After the 10 man Battle Royal to determine the No. 1 contender for the WWE championship, Trump paid us another satellite visit and said that instead of having the WWE championship match at The Bash, we were going to have next week on RAW's commercial-free telecast. As if that wasn't enough, it was going to be a Last Man Standing match.

As for how I feel about this, I really don't know. Vince came up with the concept of Monday Night RAW 17 years ago to prove to the world that WWE was on top. He turned it into a prime time event that was going to go head to head with Monday Night Football, a whole slew of sitcoms, and later on, Monday Nitro. RAW was Vince's brainchild and became the crown jewel of sports entertainment. It also became the flagship show of WWE. More importantly, I think it became a part of Vince himself, an extension of his vision.

To sell it, especially to someone like Trump, might as well be selling part of your soul. I can understand Vince's business reasoning, but what I can't understand is why it was Trump. True, RAW's gone through GM's like a car goes through gasoline, but I don't think selling was the best solution. If I was in Vince's position, I would've put Pat Patterson, Gerry Brisco, and Sgt. Slaughter in charge of the show until I found a decent GM. They work with the guys backstage and it would've made sense to put them in that position.

And I have a few things to say about Donald Trump. Here is a guy who wants to make money, and would buy anything. This man would buy Heaven from God and Hell from the Devil! He wants to own everything. My biggest fear is that he might buy the rest of the WWE. Four generations of McMahons have run the WWE, and that is the way it should stay. As far as I'm concerned, Trump should go back to Trump Tower, be with his trophy wife, and deal with the many misgivings and controversies caused by a certain Miss California and her nude pictures on the internet.
