What's up beautiful people? Welcome to another edition of Main Event Plaza! RAW was great last night wasn't it? Definitely some surprises. I'll say this, we all started out loving our guest host, but things change. I won't cover all the matches, I'll just cover those that are more important. I've much to tell you, let's begin!
We were introduced to guest host Jeremy Piven at the start of RAW. He seemed like a cool host. He was then interrupted by The Miz, who admittedly was none too happy that John Cena beat him in 2 minutes last week. He demanded a rematch from our guest host. Then John came out. He accepted Miz's challenge, but he wanted to make it interesting. Piven then announced that it would be a Lumberjack match. Miz didn't think that was too exciting, so Piven did him one better. If the Miz lost to John Cena, he would be banned from Summerslam. Not only that, but he would also be banned from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. And to top it all off, if Miz lost to John Cena, he would be banned from Monday Night RAW!
Last week, Triple H challenged Legacy to a 2-on-1 handicap match because he was fed up with their antics. We all saw the match go down last night. Triple H put up one hell of a fight. But seeing as there were two members of Legacy and he was alone, he couldn't match up and Legacy picked up the win. However, after the match ended, Hunter talked about bringing back an old partner. He just needed to make one phone call. And then he told Legacy, "If you're not down with that, I've got two words for ya!"
As of last week Hornswoggle was 4-0 against Chavo Guerrero. This week, Piven told Chavo he would get a fair match against the leprechaun. The time for the match came, and Piven appeared on the Titan Tron. He said Hornswoggle was suffering from adult chickenpox. So Chavo would face his cousin, Mark Swoggle. With that being said, out comes Mark Henry! Wearing a red singlet and a green hat. He gave Chavo the beating of his life, and lost the match. Afterwards, the real Hornswoggle came out from underneath the ring and Tadpole splashed Chavo.
Public humiliation doesn't seem to sit well with the Big Show. After being embarrassed by Shaq last week, he went to Piven to challenge him to a match to redeem himself. Piven talked his way out of the situation and put Big Show in a match with Kofi Kingston for the U.S. title. The time for the match came, and Chris Jericho was doing guest commentary. By hearing Jericho describe the Big Show all throughout this match, you'd think he was in love with the man. It didn't matter what Jericho said about Big Show, because in the end it was Show's domination of the match that was his downfall. He got himself disqualified. And poor Kofi got one hell of a beating.
Per the order of guest host Jeremy Piven. John Cena and the Miz were to square off in a Lumberjack match. Before the match began, Piven came out and said that although he was a fan of John, he was a bigger fan of Randy Orton. He also said that he had hand-selected all the Lumberjacks personally. John had been double-crossed and there was not a single ally in the group Piven had chosen, including of course, Orton and Legacy. Well the match began, and when the Miz first got thrown out of the ring, Chavo checked on him to make sure he was alright. When John got thrown out of the ring, Chris Masters put him in the Masterlock and another time Orton and Legacy gave him a beating! Well that didn't matter in the end because John gave the Miz an Attitude Adjustment and picked up the win!
Afterwards, Orton and Legacy once again beat John, leaving him lying on the mat. That's when Piven decided to climb on the top rope and do God knows what. But John got up and caught Piven in midair. He then proceeded to use him as a battering ram against the rest of the Lumberjacks. Just them Dr. Ken hit John in the back with his cane. BIG MISTAKE. He tried to talk his way out of it, and ended up being picked up and thrown out of the ring onto the rest of the Lumberjacks. It's safe to say this. Piven and Dr. Ken have no business ever being near the ring again. And to quote Jerry "The King" Lawler after all this transpired, " John Cena just threw Jeremy Piven's goods all over Randy Orton's entourage!"
Well people that was RAW. All in all, a very good show. Never again with the annoying ways of the Miz be seen on Monday Night RAW, Summerslam, or the Staples Center. Next week, our guest host will be none other than Sgt. Slaughter! Well, that's all I got for right now. Thank you for reading Main Event Plaza! Take it easy.

What?! Nothing about Evan vs. Swagger? Hmmph. Now I'm offended. Jk. I love your blog, but I really do think Evan needs to stop being overlooked.
