What's up beautiful people? Welcome to another edition of Main Event Plaza! Some show last night, huh? Waaaay too much action to squeeze into one blog, so I will just offer my opinion on a few things. Let's begin!

I would first like to offer my congratulations to Mickie James for defeating Maryse to become divas champion! During the tag match, I noticed that Beth Phoenix looked a little bitter. Maybe perhaps it is because she is no longer in the top spot and she's just not intimidating anymore.

Last night we also saw the return of The Masterpiece Chris Masters. Wow, long time no see. He faced MVP in the Beat the Clock challenge and wasted no time in applying the Masterlock. I don't think any of us were expecting the return of the well-oiled body of Masters, and neither was MVP.

Legacy. Legacy Legacy Legacy. Those two clowns have a very bad habit in interrupting good matches, and it's getting annoying. It's not cute or amusing. Sunday they interfered with the WWE championship match and cost John Cena and Triple H their shot at the championship. Last night, Ted DiBiase interfered with Triple H's Beat the Clock match and once again, cost him an opportunity at the title. Fed up, Triple H challenged the clowns to a match next week. And let's be honest here people, what is Randy Orton without his clowns? Nothing! I'll just say this. If you take out the clowns, the circus comes crashing down.

After 3 men failed to beat their opponents in 6:49, it was John Cena's turn. His opponent was the Miz. Now there's another clown with annoying habits! Miz talked smack as usual, saying that John wouldn't beat him and all this other b.s. But, as usual, actions speak louder than words. Another thing that has become typical, is that the Miz couldn't back up what he said. John slapped on the STF with plenty on time to spare and the Miz tapped out! So now, ladies and gentlemen, John Cena is your new No. 1 contender for the WWE championship at Summerslam!!!
