What's up beautiful people? As you know, NOC is the one night of the year where every championship in the WWE is defended. I would like to express my opinion on the title defenses. Let's begin!
Divas Championship (Mickie James vs. Maryse): By now we all know that Maryse is seemingly afraid to face Mickie James. Mickie has had some recent victories over the divas champion, and I think she has a good amount of momentum going into NOC this Sunday. Besides, Mickie actually has a move set. All Maryse does is flip her hair. My Pick: Mickie James
Unified Tag Team Championship (Chris Jericho & ? vs. Legacy): As far as "mystery partner" goes, I think we all have a pretty good idea of who is going to be Jericho's partner. I think, as I'm sure many of you do, that the partner is Dolph Ziggler. He and Jericho have been very friendly as of late. As far as Legacy's chances, I'd say it's a 50-50 spilt. Although, Jericho can be very aggressive when he wants to be, but we've also had a taste of what Ted DiBiase can do. I'd say both sides have significant momentum, so it'll be an interesting match this Sunday. My Pick: Chris Jericho & ?
ECW Championship (Tommy Dreamer vs. Christian): Tommy Dreamer spent months chasing after the ECW title, with that same determination it took to win the championship, Christian's going to have a hell of a time trying to take it away from him. Both of these men are extremely talented, and this should be a good matchup. However, don't think that Dreamer's going to roll over and play dead for Christian because you can be sure Dreamer's not going down without a fight. My Pick: Tommy Dreamer
WWE Women's Championship (Michelle McCool vs. ?): As of right now, McCool's opponent has not been announced yet. I assume her opponent will be announced on SD tonight. However, I believe it will be Melina, and I'll be very surprised if it's not. Melina wants her title back, and she's not going to rest until it is back around her waist. Expect one hell of a fight ladies and gentlemen. My Pick: ? (Possibly Melina)
United States Championship (Kofi Kingston vs. MVP vs. Big Show vs. Carlito vs. Jack Swagger vs. The Miz): With this match, you can expect plenty of action. I can guarantee 3 things. 1) The Big Show will senselessly beat anyone he can reach, 2) Jack Swagger will go for MVP, and 3) The Miz is NOT going to win. Kofi has his work cut out for him, even more so by the fact that he doesn't necessarily have to be pinned or made to submit to lose. He has to be on his toes, because in the blink of an eye, he could lose the championship. Besides Kofi, I think MVP has a pretty good chance of leaving with the title. My Picks: Kofi Kingston or MVP
Intercontinental Championship (Rey Mysterio vs. Dolph Ziggler):This is one match you can be sure will include Dolph Ziggler. Although, it wouldn't be the first time someone competed in two matches in one night. I'll just say this, a PPV is NOT the time to be cocky. We've all seen this before, if you go in with a swollen head you're not going to be focused and you'll most likely lose. Dolph Ziggler better put his arrogance aside and really focus on Rey. Rey, especially in a championship situation, is going to bring it. If Ziggler's not careful, he's going to get nailed with the 619 and lose. My Pick: Rey Mysterio
World Heavyweight Championship (Jeff Hardy vs. CM Punk): At some point, you've got to know where to draw the line, and stop judging people to make yourself feel better. I don't know what is going through Punk's head, but whatever it is he has his work cut out for him. Jeff Hardy put on a spectacular performance when he beat Edge at Extreme Rules. And I, like many other people, feel that Punk stole the championship from Jeff's hands. Like I said, at some point, you have to draw a line. Punk is not going to be able to stop the match, with a so-called "eye injury" this time. Jeff will bring everything he has to the table to beat Punk this Sunday. And it's not going to matter how either one of them lives their life. Because in the end, the only thing that matters is the show you put on in the ring. My Pick: Jeff Hardy
WWE Championship (John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Randy Orton): By now I'm sure you've realized that whenever John Cena is in a match, he's my favorite to win. Well this time is no different! It is very safe to say that Orton has been playing with fire, and he's about to be burnt. Triple H is a very dangerous enemy to have, and when you throw John Cena into the mix, you're getting one hell of a beating. I'd say this is a challenge for all three competitors, but Orton has been known to back down from a fight. John and Hunter haven't. This is not the time for Orton to get cocky to be off his guard. Punches are going to be thrown left, right, and center in this match. John Cena proved this past Monday night on Raw that he has what it takes to beat Orton. There is mutual respect between John and Hunter, so I think this should be an interesting and very good match. But I do think Randy's bitten off more than he can chew with John and Hunter. My Pick: John Cena
Well people, those were my predictions for NOC this Sunday. I would like to emphasize that these are just my opinions and were not meant to offend anyone. All in all, NOC should be a very good show, full of action and with surprises around every corner :) That's all I got for right now. Thank you for reading. Take it easy.
