It was the WWE Draft once again on a special 3 hour Raw last night. On a funny note: I forgot it was 3 hours once the show started so I was wondering why the show didn't end at 10. I thought it was 11. Then I realized it was only 10 and thought that only one hour passed. When I went home(I was at my cousin's place), I remembered it was 3 hours which is why it felt like 2 hours were over at 10. 

Anyway, there were a few surprises and a few good drafts. 
Once again, Raw held the draft. Why wouldn't it? It's the dominant brand. How can we make ECW and Smackdown get higher ratings? Make it live. Put SD on Wednesdays. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and now Thursday Superstars. It could help a little. I hope the new show is good. Can't wait! 

On to the show:

I'm not gonna give you exactly what happened since you either saw it or probably read it somewhere else like wwe.com. But I'll give you my opinions. The first segment wasn't amazing. But it was decent. Cena has better mic skills than Batista. Why couldn't they get revenge together? In a 3 on 1 handicap or something right? They're fighting for who gets to get revenge? Well, like I said, this segment was okay...

We start the first match with Mr. 619 vs 'Air' Bourne. This should've been exciting, but it was short. I really wanted to see a Shooting Star Press. I guess it's only on ECW. Rey wins. A nice match. Raw gets MVP. A nice one although ECW would've profited more from MVP than Raw. But this is good to see MVP on Raw. That's definitely a new, fresh change.

Kane vs Brian Kendrick. Brian Kendrick is useless and it's not his fault. He needs to get a push. He just jobs to everyone but he has potential. Maybe he might get released? Kane wins, no surprise there. Big Show comes to Raw. This is a good change too. Nice new challenges and interesting storylines with Show. Hopefully they won't continue his love for Vickie now that she's GM of Raw too. Hopefully. 

Smackdown vs Raw Divas. Michelle McCool gets the win for her team(Maryse and Natalya) by pinning Mickie James and defeating her team (Melina and Kelly Kelly). SD gets draft pick and Melina goes to SD. Nice one too though I'd rather see Candice go to SD. Nonetheless, this was a good pick, though I wont miss Melina much. So far, the drafts aren't disappointing. BTW, how in the world did Mickie get fatter? She needs to lose weight fast cause she used to be one of the hottest. Now Maryse is the hottest but sometimes she is the ugliest too at different angles. =)

Cena has a segment with Swagger. He was actually funny. Until he stopped telling the jokes, then he got corny. 

Cena beats Swagger. Nice match. Raw gets 2 picks.  Matt goes to Raw. That is definitely nice. Matt on Raw and Jeff on SD. Amazing move now that he's heel. He can be one of the top heels if he tries. Hopefully won't turn out like Rey's move to Raw last year as it was just pointless and did nothing to Rey. Triple H gets drafted to Raw. Not a big surprise. Not an amazing one. I mean he's been on Raw for the last month or so anyway. But at least he won't be on SD. Jeff and The Undertaker can be on top.

Great Khali beats Santino. Santino is hilarious. Gotta love him. Santina is going to kiss Khali on SD. Interesting only because I know Santino is going to be hilarious. He might get drafted to SD in the Supplemental draft. CM Punk goes to SD. That is a great move. He can start fresh and have a better title reign if he wins the title after cashing in the MITB.

Kofi Kingston vs The Miz. Great match. Longer than I expected. Kofi wins by DQ. Miz goes to Raw. I thought it'd be Morrison. Miz betrays Morrison and attacks him. I wish he didn't get drafted yet only because a Miz vs Morrison feud would've been interesting. Maybe since the Dirt Sheet is over(damn it!) they might start their own internet shows and have a war online. Maybe...I hope Miz can do well on Raw. 

Tri-Branded battle Royal. Edge wins second year in a row. Not a great match. I was hoping to see people like Jeff Hardy, HBK, Undertaker and such in the match. At least Edge was in. Kane goes to SD. Nice as he was useless on Raw. Jericho to SD. That's an amazing move and possibly the best move so far I think because he can be the top heel on SD with Edge. I heard they were friends which I didn't know. Maybe now instead of Christian and Edge, it can be Jericho and Edge. Oh I hope that happens. The possibilities...Maybe Christian will be drafted to SD or Raw in the Supplemental draft. Hopefully to SD. 

Christian defeated Shelton and of course, he was the one person who could get ECW a draft pick. Kozlov gets drafted to ECW. A good move. It can help him and maybe ECW.

Matt defeats Punk by DQ. Jeff interfered. Guess this feud is still on. Yay! I didn't want it to end so soon. Maybe Jeff will come out victorious in the end. Maryse to Raw. Nice. I liked this move and Maryse on Raw will definitely be interesting. 

Jericho beat Tommy Dreamer. Awesome match. Wasn't the best thought. The cdebreaker at the end was great too. Rey goes back to SD. Not surprising for me and not a big change as he was there before last year. Nonetheless, I am happy and ecstatic cause now we can see rey dominating Friday nights and go back on top.

I wish the handicap match wasn't the main event. But HHH wins. He faces Orton next week. Would've rather seen Shane for some reason. I hope Steph comes back soon...

I give this weeks Raw a 4.5 out of 5. Plenty of good matches. Nice draft picks. Hopefully more pleasant surprises on the Supplemental Draft. 

The people wh got drafted:

Raw: MVP, Big Show, Maryse, Triple H, Matt Hardy and The Miz. (I predicted HHH would go)

SD: Jericho, Melina, Rey Mysterio, Kane and CM Punk. (I predicted Jericho, Kane and Punk and I felt Rey would go)

ECW: Kozlov. (I predicted he would go) Hopefully they get Santino, The Great Khali, R-Truth and such...

The new WWE Superstars show is coming out on Thursday. Taker vs Matt Hardy. Should be good. Hopefully the show is successful. Unfortunately I don't have WGN.

Before I talk about Raw, I'm gonna talk about Wrestlemania 25. It was a disaster. Maybe that's a stretch, but, it wasn't what I expected considering it's the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania! It was decent. Great, amazing for any other PPV. Oh well. Matt vs Jeff wasn't as great as I thought. It was a great match, but I thought this would've been a classic. It wasn't the Extreme Rules I was looking for. The splash on Matt sandwiched between two tables was awesome, and so was the jump from the ladder. It was great, but not enough for Wrestlemania 25. There should've been more extremeness, and it cud be done without blood. Ricky Steamboat looked great, but Rourke made it look so fake when he punched Jericho. It was horrible. Santina won? He is hilarious, but and I love the dude, but come on. MITB was okay. In the end HBK vs Taker had to save Wrestlemania. It stole the show. It was just amazing and I remember just having a whole lot of fun with my friends while watching this. I was rooting for both guys. HBK kicked out of a chokeslam, piledriver and the last ride. Taker kicked out of 2 Superkicks. These guys exceeded expectations and are the people we can thank for making Wrestlemania 25 look like Wrestlemania for 30-40 minutes. At the end of this match, I only had one complaint: That the match had to end. I was having a whole lot of fun. Oh well! The triple threat match looked better than the main event and exceeded most of our expectations. It had some good spots. 

Anyway, let's move on to Raw!

Randy cuts a promo and wants a rematch. Vince comes out and says he won't give it to him. Randy challenges Vince to a match and he accepts. I loved hating Vince more than cheering for him. He is better off as a heel. Will he turn heel? Same with Triple H. He is so loving and caring it's just not him...Will he turn heel as well? Hopefully, cause thats when fans like him more, myself included.

I wish the Unification tag match wasn't a dark match at WM, but at least we still got to see it at Raw. It was a pretty good match. I like the Colons and I like M&M. So whoever is the WWE Tag Champs, I'm happy. The Colons retain. Their as good as M&M. 

Vickie is permanent GM OF RAW! Great! Well, I think it would help Raw be more interesting. I just hope they don't do more soap operas on Raw. Last man standing match at Backlash between Cena and Edge. I love these guys but haven't we seen enough between these two? At least it's Last man standing. And the WWE Championship is on the line between the 6 man tag match between Legacy and McMahons. The winning team's captain will be Champion. I don't know if that's a good idea. I mean Randy could just make DiBiase win to be champion, or Rhodes. But, we'll see. After his match with HHH at Mania, the hype and excitement for this rivalry went down. 

The All Star tag team match was really good and entertaining. Great to see Steamboat in the ring. He still has it. But, I think that was the last of him in the ring. Hopefully not! This match was in my opinion the Match of the Night with the Colons and M&M's match coming second!

Raw Divas vs Smackdown Divas. It wasn't great. The Divas faction is just going down every week. Vince needs to be that creative genius again. 

'Santina' is hilarious. I knew he'd beat Beth. Are we gonna see something come out of Rosa Mendes? She's basically invisible in that ring. Make her do something more. 

Finally the main event! Orton vs Vince. It was a nice entertaining match. Vince actually dominated a little. But, Shane interfered. Legacy came in. Triple H came in. He got beat up. Until, Batista finally returned. I love surprise returns. And I thought this was a great return. Some of the excitement for this feud went up a little again. Even though the six man tag match isn't a great idea, I think a six man match was coming between these two groups. I wanna see DiBiase and Rhodes in the ring fight Triple H and Batista. Hey, it's not that bad of a match if this rivalry is gonna go on for a while. I wonder when Steph will return. Then maybe she and Vince will join legacy or something cool like that. But, unfortunately we have to wait and see. 

Too bad we didn't get to see Shawn or The Undertaker tonight. I heard both their knees are in pretty bad shape. Same with Edge but I guess it's not that bad as he is still gonna fight at Backlash. Hopefully Taker and Shawn will make a surprise return like Batista. Maybe he'll join Triple H making DXEvolutionMcMahons against LegacyMcMahons(if the McMahons turn heel). But these are just wild predictions and what I think would be entertaining to see. 

The Draft is coming up next week and I wonder what surprises will occur. And I wonder if the new Superstars show will be good!

I give this Raw a 4 out of 5! At least we got to see more than 2 matches. 5 matches this week. That's great! And they were mostly entertaining too.

Welcome everyone.

This week's Raw started out bad but ended amazing. I loved the ending so much I watched it again online. But we'll get to that. 

It seems Creative is getting a little stupid recently. This is why:

• They still have not given Cena better lines to say
• They still don't try to change/add some more in-ring skills.
• They can't do any better than tag matches for the MITB participants.
• Same for the 25 diva battle royal. 

This is why I have a small doubt that the HBK/Taker match won't be the best of the night-Creative might mess it up

Anyway, the show started with the diva match. Faces won. Good to see Tiffany in the ring. Will we ever see any more diva matches like the Trish Stratus vs Mickie James at Mania 20 or 21(I forgot which).And then Santino had to come out in a 'mankini' It really cracked me up. I love Santino-he's so funny. But never again. And please don't put him in the Battle Royal. Santino should get in a serious rivalry with Regal or someone.

Chris Jericho beat Lawler. His match at Mania is my least favorite. I feel like I'd rather see Jericho vs Lawler at Mania than the handicap match. This match was ok, not that great. I still hope Stone Cold or someone will make an appearance after his handiap match at WM. Yeah, right. I think Sim Snuka should've been involved since Jimmy Snuka is. Is he released? I don't think he is.

You've probably heard this before and I say it too: Why put Rey Mysterio vs JBL for the title at Mania and then show it on Raw 6 days before it. Really? I was looking forward to it but since they already fought it out, they should take it out and put up an ECW Championship match, if it wasn't for the fact the IC Title hasn't been on the line at WM for a while.

Big Show vs Cena again? I was surprised that I thought this was the Match of the Night. And fortunately for all of us Cena lost, only 'cause even though I'm a fan of him, I don't like him to win every single time especially if he's gonna win at Mania. And Edge fought him at the end. I loved how he smiled. But, I think Edge has lost some of his heel personality...He's not that much of a sadistical freak anymore like with the Undertaker...Speaking of which...

Shawn Michaels had a funeral for the streak just like last year. Except I loved this year's promo more. It was great. I loved HBK's attire, made him look like he was cocky and that he thought of himself as the guy on top. Especially when he was walking backstage with his 'army' of pastors or whatever following him. He superkicked Taker again and did the crotch chop. I loved how when we all thought he was inside, he was actually under the casket. And how he smiled and just turned away when he was at the top of the ramp. Got under Taker's skin again. I like how it is one-sided because I know Taker is gonna win.

Another battle royal for the MITB. At least not a tag team match. I knew Kane would win. I don't know why. I just knew. It was alright. They could've done a promo again but that was actually good and not like in ECW.

And now comes the best part. Orton is talking. Says there was no IED. At least he's not a wuss anymore. And Vince comes out. He still walks like that even when he is angry. And then comes the money...Shane O'Mac. And then Triple H. A perfect scene right there when they were standing together. Loved this scene. Could've been 10 seconds longer. I didn't think Vince would be back. When he was back, I didn't think Shane. When he was back too, I thought Steph. But she didn't come. Oh well. If HHH is gonna win I think they should've put Orton kissing Steph this week. But this was perfect. Also, on a sidenote, while Orton was talking during his promo(which was pretty good) he reminded me of HHH and Obama). I also love how Rhodes and DiBiase are exposed and made to look like they're good, cause they are. Orton is awesome as a heel. But when Mr. McMahon came back, it was like someone who could match Orton.

The ratings might have been low cause 1) No one knew Vince would return and 2) the first hour sucked so they might've turned the TV off right there.

Overall it was a good Raw only cause of the HBK/Taker and the ending segments.

I'm sorry I couldn't post this sooner. I'm really busy these days. This is gonna be a short, sweet blog 'cause I don't have the time. 

I thought the Jericho/Flair altercation was interesting...But it still doesn't make me wanna see the handicap match at Wrestlemania! I just hope Flair is fine. Wonder how is match with King next week is gonna turn out.

Great to see Jeff back on Raw. A Short, sweet match with Dolph Ziggler. Have you met him? Really can't wait for Hardy/Hardy Extreme Rules at Mania. Jeff wins. 

Is Santino for real? His dream for Wrestlemania is to be MISS Wrestlemania. But of course, it was funny. And he couldnt beat Mickie with a hand tied up behind. Mickie wins. WOW Santino. 

The 8 man tag match was actually good. Christian, Punk, MVP and Kofi wins. How many more of these same matches do we have to see before Mania?

John Cena was doing good but he went back to lame jokes. I dont hate him. I blame Creative...Give him better moves and jokes guys. Come on. This feud isnt that amazing any more. Do you realize no one cares about the two big titles. No one cares that they're on the line. Well not me anyway. I wanna see if Cena wins and what happens with Vickie. Same with Orton and HHH. It's a personal issue, not for just the title. Match ends with DQ.

Rey vs Regal was decent. I do wanna see his match with JBL at Mania. Rey wins. 

Shawn is serious now. You probably heard this a million times but of course, Taker showed anger. Amazing! But I felt like Taker should be playing mind games.

The Handicap Match was Match of the Night. Great ending. Randy kissed Steph. HHH must've been boiling with rage. Awesome rivalry. Randy has grown to be awesome.

All in all, I thought Raw was decent. They need to drop something big next week to keep everyone happy before Mania.

What's up WWE Fans? As you all know, The Road to Wrestlemania looks good. But, I'm not impressed considering it's the 25th Anniversary. HBK/Undertaker and Hardy/Hardy- The exceptional matches. But let's be optimistic and hope for the good. Remember, Wrestlemania isn't the Superbowl of Wrestling, Superbowl is the Wrestlemania of Football! =)

The opener was really good. Shawn seems to take on a heel turn but I was happy that he got the loudest cheers of the night. Kicking Undertaker in the face. Bold and Brave like no other.

The 25 Divas tag match seems good. We all wanna know which past divas are gonna show, which is why it seems interesting besides being crowned Miss Wrestlemania.

Triple H is smart. Bringing down the Steel cage and everything. This storyline is getting hot and I love it. Randy Orton is not the wuss anymore since he didnt press charges, but the sadistical freak. I love it. And Steph seems to be back. Maybe DX too after Mania?

Rey Mysterio vs JBL looks like a great match for Mania. And the IC title on the line too. It's good. Dolph is back. Who hasn't met him yet? Maybe some life will be back in the IC title soon.

I was disappointed when I heard Jericho vs 3 legends. And I got hyped up about Austin or Hogan comin back. At least Rourke please? These legends are old and I don't hate them but I was hoping for something better. Anyone else. The Rock? Yeah right.  At least they could've made him fight Christian or Bourne at Wrestlemania. Would've been good.

The 6 man tag match was pretty good. Christian and Finlay at ringside took my attention away from the match at times. Hopefully the MITB match will be better than we think. 

And of course, Cena vs Edge. Alright but this storyline is not as hot as I thought it'd be. I have ideas on what can be done to make it better such as involving Batista but I don't wanna jinx it by sayin them here. The guy who scripts Cena's moves need to understand that he needs more moves so that people'll at least give credit to Cena as a decent wrestler.

All in all, I give this Raw a 4/5. Not a good one since it's leading up to Mania. Something big should happen fast to make it interesting again like bringing back a McMahon(hopefully the Chairman).
