U hit the nail on the head here. I have come across some people that get very defensive for whatever reason. Why? I don't have an answer.



I haven't come in contact w/ it personally, but I've read blogs of people who r b*tchin' about others who r mean to them. I think the whole thing is really stupid. I was under the impression that this was supposed to b a fun thing for wrestling fans to do. We get to visit w/ people f/ across the planet that love this great sport as much as we do. If somebody is really ridin' u and is bein' a d*ck about everything, fine, block'em and move on. However, if someone is just simply expressing their personal views about a certain subject....get over it. Part of the fun is meeting opposing view points and havin' civil discussion.



To me, it's called Fan NATION....we r a nation of fans who can't get enough wrestling in our lives. This should b somethin' that brings wrestling fans together, not tears them apart. For instance, I am not a John Cena fan. But u don't c me seeking out Cena fans and tearing them down. I have my reasons for not liking Cena and I expect that everyone will respect that, coz I respect the fact that they like him. It's just like u said, everyone's different w/ different opinions.



Now that I've said my piece, I just wanted to say that I love CM Punk. No bullsh*t, I watched his debut match on ECW and instantly liked him. I miss the Anaconda Vise:( The GTS is awesome though. I think he deserves every bit of success he's got, coz he earned it.



I also wanted to mention that John Cena is starting to grow on me. I HATED him coz they shoved him down our throats. They kinda said, "okay fans, here is ur top guy and u'd better like it." Now I know how Hogan opposers felt in the 80's!! Since he returned f/ his injury it seems like they haven't done that as much. I was gonna sh*t a brick if he won the title @ WM this year. They tried to make him into some superman, but it seemed forced. There will never b another Hulk Hogan. It just doesn't work these days. Wow, I shoulda just made this a blog of my own:)

You make a very valid opinion. I believe that this was something drastic for the WWE to keep in contact with their fans and at the same time it was the best thing for them too. I know it sounds weird but that is my opinion.



I won't lie I am very opinionated in my blogs and I have pretty much joined just about the same time as yourself and I find I just speak my mind on the one sport that has not left me when I was growing up or even now. I do a lot of reflecting on the sport as a sport and pretty much say what I think you know. I don't let other people's thoughts offend me. But that is just me of course.

i agree we are all free to express our opinions we all have one thing in common we are all wrestling fans and we all have our wrestlers that we consider our heros so everyone speak up
