First off I have lived in the world of drugs so I know how easily seduced into it one can become. Jeff has lived through some hard times and unfortunately at times like that it becomes even easier to fall into situations were it would seem like that would be the easier road to take. I in no way condone what he did and am upset about it as well but you also have to remember his home burned to the ground in wich he lost everything he owned and worse even he lost his beloved dog in the fire. If you put yourself in his position you would be quite upset yourself and more than likely end up doing something that you would also regret. You can disagree all you want, but before you point fingers and **** about someone else's mistakes take a moment to think about the things that you have done that are less than satisfactory in your life.





Secondly in the WWE contract that he had to sign before getting hired there is a 3 strike rule and ALL the WWE superstars are randomly drug tested. In the event that they would fail 3 drug tests he/she is then fired.



So before you run your mouth KNOW THE RULES!!

I am aware of the 3 strike policy in the WWE. I don't like it because:



1). It takes a man to be a man. Jeff Hardy needs to grow up. I see C.M. Punk as the standard (Straightedge), for my children to have as a positive role model. I am a teacher and an Aunt, who is raising 5 nieces and a nephew (ages 4 to 16). They are young an impressionable and I do not need a Jeff Hardy role model. The children in my class all talk wrestling at school(6th grade). Who would you want your child taking up as their hero and role model?



2). I have been in a situation that required a life choice, like Jeff Hardy. Unlike Jeff Hardy, I chose to live for the rest of my life in pain, but drug free!



3). I pity Hardy, but too bad . . . he is not the only one with problems. With 1.5 million dying in Myamar, almost 9000 dead in China and over 20 dead in our southern United States, (This is not to mention job losses and home foreclosures). Jeff Hardy has very little to complain about in problems.

I can Agree with what you are saying C.M. Punk has (supposedly) been drug free his entire life which is great that he has done this. The thing about C.M. Punk is that he wants to be a role model for the kids, Jeff is an Entertainer through and through. He didn't ask to be a role model, I know that doesn't mean that he isn't I just mean it isn't his fault if someone does something stupid on his account. Also to answer your question (I actually have 2 kids of my own) I would like my kids to look at someone as a role model that wants to be a role model and I for one plan on seeing to it that I am able to teach them how to tell the difference(not saying that you haven't).



You also said that you have had a life changing experience so, you know how difficult it can be. I'm not asking you to agree with his actions nor am I asking you to condone them. I just ask that you be a little more understanding, not to THAT he did drugs just to the WHY he did the drugs. Jeff is a really good guy. His heart is in the right place but unfortunately his head isn't always.
