This is a very late night review of Wrestlemania. Thanks to working until 10 pm, I ordered the rebroadcast. Here is my opinion:

Miz and Morrison vs. Carlito and Primo- This wasn't on the ppv but Carlito and Primo won. We have to wait until the dvd to see it. It's a shame because I thought it would be a good match.

Money In The Bank- For me, it was just okay. I thought there would be more exciting spots. The match had some but not as many as I had hoped. I'm also a little disappointed that CM Punk won. I don't hate Punk but I was hoping Christian would win.

Divas Battle Royal- Next!

Jericho vs. Piper, Snuka, and Steamboat- Wow! Does Piper kiss his family with that mouth? lol  Steamboat was better than I thought he would be. (A very bad back forced him to retire) Overall it wasn't bad. Jericho winning and the showdown with Mickey Rourke was predictible.

Hardy vs. Hardy- I liked this match. However I think they could have gotten a little more extreme than they did. With that said, the twist of fate with the chair to Jeff was nasty!

JBL vs Rey (The Joker) Mysterio- With JBL promising that dominant win didn't we know the outcome? Congrats to Rey. I'll miss JBL.

Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels- Easily the best match of the night! They actually had me thinking that the streak might end tonight. A very solid performance by 2 definite future WWE Hall of Famers.

Big Show vs. Cena vs. Edge- Who didn't know Cena would win? He's not my favorite but my jaw dropped when the had both Big Show and Edge on his shoulders. Remind me never to get in a fight with Cena.

Triple H vs. Randy Orton- The match was 0kay. I thought they both could put on a better show than they did. Maybe Legacy or McMahon interference would have helped. Not a bad match but not great either.

This blog has nothing to do with wrestling but I hope you read it anyway. The fact that you almost wouldn't have had the chance to might intrigue some of you. Last week around this time my face was swollen and my tooth was hurting pretty bad. I delayed going to the dentist. That was a big mistake. My tooth was abcessed. I found out that had I waited just one or two days I would most likely be dead now. If you don't treat an abcessed tooth, the bacteria from it could spread to your heart and/or lungs and that would not be good. I'm not ready to go yet. There are so many things I want to do before that day comes. Like I did with my tooth, I put them off. After this, I say never again! I am making a "bucket list" (from that movie with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman) I urge all of you to do the same. Come up with at least one thing you want to do before your time is up and do it!  I don't know if I will get the chance to go on a date with a WWE Diva but it's going on the list. lol Be happy and safe and enjoy the time you have left. I know I will from now on.

Do you have friends that aren't wrestling fans? What happens when they find out that you are? What's the first thing they say to you? Most likely, they ask "You know it's fake right?" For some reason, they will look at you as not being very bright. I'm not going to go into details but I'm a long way from being stupid. So are many of the members of Fan Nation.

Sure the wrestling outcome is predetermined and many of the punches are pulled, but wrestling is not fake. The ring ropes? Pretty much chain covered by plastic. It feels harder than it looks. The mat floor isn't as soft as it looks either. The chairs are real. The chance for getting injured is high. A few of the wrestlers are pretty banged up. This is why Edge "went to Hell"  It's also why the Undertaker was "banished"  The wrestlers work through pain. They don't sit out because of an injured toe.(like an NFL player)  Because of this, I respect everybody that wrestles whether I like them or not.

Most of the members of Fan Nation realize the sacrifices the wrestlers make to entertain all of us. Sure some of the gimmicks are stupid (Gobbledy gooker anybody?)  Are some of the tv shows any less stupid? I think not. What it boils down to is that this is a refuge for people that are looked down upon for liking "wrasslin' "

As of now, I have the most popular Melina group and the second most popular Mickie James group. It would not have been possible without you! I'm open to any suggestions you have for making either group better.
