I don't go to Curves, but I know people who have. From the feedback I have received, it seems as though there is that initial weight loss and then a plateau. I think adding in more weight training would help break the plateau, but it is not the kind of weight training offered by Curves. Curves is helpful because it really burns fat and gets your metabolism going, but it doesn't provide enough weight training to tone muscle effectively.

    Hello,

Just wondering if anyone goes to Curves here or not. If they do how do they like it?

Personally, I enjoy it. I don't have to wear make-up and look perfect in a $200 excercise outfit like people usually do in gyms (Around here anyway). I also like it because I lost 2 dress sizes and about 5 pounds (I KNOW ONLY 5 LBS!) in 3 weeks. Mind you I work my ass off in there.

Anyway, my predicament now is it seems like I've somehow plateaued! I'm 150 lbs and I'm 5'3... 21 years old. I've added extra excercises in like walking for 45, etc. and watching what I eat, but nothing is working!

i remember my mother doing this back in the 90's when i was younger :) she did lose some weight on it, but its more fun to do with a friend, (or maybe your kids too) he turns exercise into something goofy and fun
