I'm sure right now there are people in the WWE corporate ladder who can not figure out why ECW continues to bottom out in the ratings. The whole it's not the real ECW ship has sailed a long time ago so as much as you figure the ratings are tanking because its not the ECW we fans remember, it's not.

The reason the show is getting 1.1 ratings and in the 1.0 to 1.4 range is because the show sucks. You might as well call it Smackdown Light because thats all it is. Where is the distinction between the brands. Why should I care about ECW when it's clear its "parent company" doesn't even care about it. I mean the best angle to carry the show right now is Miz N' Morrison vs. Kane and Punk. Why are Kane and Punk going for the WWE Tag Team titles. Clealry they are above being in the tag team division yet on Judgement Day there they are in a tag title match.

The other big angle on the show is the whole Colin vs. Armando saga and that angle has been done to death. We've seen it with Austin/McMahon. Triple H vs. McMahon. Shawn Vs. McMahon. On Smackdown we're seeing it now with Vickie vs. The Undertaker. Here's an idea...if you want the ratings to go up (well as much as they can for a Tuesday Night) come up with something original

Me personally, I skip ECW because there are other things on Tuesday Nights at 10 PM. I am a devoted Law and Order SVU Fan and Stable & Benson take priority over ECW. ECW is really going to be screwed when The Shield comes back on FX because I can guarentee a good portion of ECW fans are Shield fans and Vick Mackey is a much better character then anyone on ECW.

It's a shame ECW is in the tank because Kane deserves better as a Heavyweight Champion.

I think I've made my point. I could also call ECW Head writer Chris DeJoseph a schmuck, but I think we all ready know that. I mean you have to be to become a walking rib like Big **** Johnson..

So last night I watched most of Smackdown. That in it self was an accomplishment since I haven't been to keen on it since JBL left for RAW. But at the end of the show I have to say the screw job on The Undertaker was a bit much.

There are so many ways it could have gone. They could have said if he uses the choke again then he's stripped. Is it so hard just to keep the belt on The Undertaker for a while? I mean my God WWE your starting to reach into TNA territory with this kind of stuff.

It's fairly obvious its going to be rigged by Vickie so Edge can win the title back. Now normally I'm all for a heel doing that, but with this it was just annoying. Plus you managed to get my father who's been watching the WWE for over 30 years to say the hell with it. I mean it was cause of fans like him that Bob Backlund was so over as a champion.

Vince, you want the ratings to go up will here's a thought. Stop giving the green light to stuff like this. I'm pretty sure the brain trust at creative can think up something more then this.

Of course I could write a whole thing on what should be done, but I don't do fantasy booking for free...anymore anyway.
