You all may hate me for this, but it needs to be brought up and discussed. I feel that there is too much of a religious influence in wrestling. I am an agnostic/borderline atheist, and I have noticed a lot of christian propaganda over the years. Like at Backlash 2006 when Mr.Mcmahon put Shawn Michaels in a tag match with god as his partner. Or just earlier this year when HBK claimed to be a holy light and read scripter. Im not saying that Those who are religious in the wwe should stop it, Im just saying that stuff like this should be kept private, and that wrestling does not need to make religious refrences to be intertaining.

I'm a Christian, but I definitely agree with you. I think during that particular time, that Christianity was being exploited. I think if you are going to portray any religion as silly, or bizarre in any fashion, you should just leave it alone. The only person who had my blessing to talk about religion was George Carlin. I do agree with this just like I disagree with TNA for having the SHIEK ABDUL BASHIR caracter playing the persecuted Muslim just as I did when WWE did so years ago with the MOHAMMED HUSSEIN caracter. Cultere and religion are things that shouldn't be exploited in the advancement of a storyline.
