Hello everyone and welcome to My Opinion on Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling. This was a request from a few weeks ago, by my friend ®TMRandyTM® at http://fans.wwe.com/rileyfan but this is my 1st My Opinion on... in a while. Many others have also asked about this and I told a few of you, but now I'll tell the rest of you. In case any of you haven't seen it or heard of it, it comes on weekly on CMT and here is a promo for it :
Being a former pro wrestler, I was always taught to ALWAYS stick to kayfabe (stick to storyline AS REAL) with the public. Seeing as how WWE has destroyed that by allowing over 98% of you all, to know that it's choreographed and only entertainment, then what's the point. So I think this new reality show is great, as far as, it shows the public some of the training (just not to the extent) we go through. The MANY hours of taking bumps and running the ropes. You see just a glimpse of it. For you all to see us in a 10 minute match, you don't realize the months (some, even years) we had to train, to know just what to do, how to do it, when to do it, and how to make it look good, while doing it. Not to mention, being able to draw heat or pop from the crowd and either get over or put someone else over.
I really think Hogan could've picked SOME better celebrities though. No offense to Frank Stallone, but he's 58. Come on now. For a man, his age, he's in great shape, but having to take hits & bumps at that age, is a no, no. I mean, Hogan isn't taking them anymore, why does he think someone else, his age, should. Rodman, great crowd control, but again, I'd rather see someone younger. Same with Tiffany, teen rocker from the 80's. That says it all, FROM THE 80's! I feel that a younger generation would put more effort into it and make it more entertaining. To be HONEST, I haven't watched the last 2 shows, but I picked Danny Bonaduce to win, from the beginning. I know he's up there in age too (They all are, except Screech and the Price is Right girl), but Like Hogan said, Danny really missed his calling. He has great crowd control and heel work. It wouldn't take much for him to maybe have been a WWE, WCW, or even TNA Superstar, if he could've trained earlier in his career. As always, that's my opinion. What's yours?

I watched it the other night with my mom and was actually pretty impressed with it. My pick is also Danny Bonaduce. He did one heckuva cross body that I was really impressed with. It's funny to me how polite Dustin Diamond (Screech) is on here! He was a royal pain in the ARSE on Celebrity Fit Club. So it is hilarious to see him toe the line when around the wrestlers, LOL!
