he started as a college football player, in 1991 he became a part of maimi national universety and became a national football champion

then he made a decision to become a pro wrestler like his father rocky johnson and his grandfather high chief peter maivia. later the rock came in the wwf and started with a nickname as rocky maivia and later as the rock. he was a former member of the nation of domination, the corporation and the rock and sock conecetion.

two years after he joined the wwf (now knowd as the wwe) he won his first wwf championship and became one of the most populair superstars in the company.

then the rock has done it all in the wwe, and started to focus on his acting career he made his first movie in 2001 the scorpion king
