Major RUMORED WrestleMania 25 Plans Inside *Spoiler*

Wednesday, February 18, 2009, 01:39 PM EST [General]

There are only three matches all but confirmed for WrestleMania 25  Triple H vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship, Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy, and Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker

(which will be set up by JBL vs. Michaels on RAW next week).

Though Mickie Rourke is going around telling people that he won't be attending WrestleMania 25, WWE is expecting him to change his mind after the Academy Awards on Sunday.

If that isn't the case, WWE is setting up a possible match where Chris Jericho will face a number of legends that he's confronted up until the 'Mania PPV, including some possible surprise legends.

This would lead to a likely match between Jericho and Hogan if Rourke doesn't come through after Sunday night. It's basically a wait and see game right now.

However I'd think we'll see Austin vs Jericho, as Jericho's insulting all the ledgends and this would set up an ultimate ledgends show down.

    No Way Out.. WOW

NO WAY OUT... WOW NO WAY OUT

Sunday February 15th may go down as a landmark day for WWE programming and booking.

For this was a great PPV that showcased the talent within WWE except for Kofi Kingston (but we'll get to that later).

The future is certainly bright for the premier wrestling organisation.
    How will WWE top this?

Well we'll see at WrestleMania 25 and in the future oncoming Raws and SmackDowns to come.

    NO WAY OUT.
It was a surprise to see the first Chamber match at the start of the show.
However, in hindsight a great move.
No surprise for the winner in The Game, new 13 time champ.

To see Edge eliminated quickly by Jeff Hardy shook the fans and got them on their feet, for what was defiantly one of the surprises of the night.
Edge's early elimination went on to help the match as Undertaker and Triple H went on to be the final to and their subsequent stare-down and brawl, was a big moment that seemed to be steeped in history and was reminiscent of past main events, with stare downs and brawling like The Rock and Austin or Hogan and Warrior.

Even Kozlov did well in this match and Big Show helped to show case Kozlov's character as a "Goldberg" unbeatable monster.

    Randy Orton vs Shane McMahon
What seemed about to become a squash, was handled well by Orton and he did a lot to get over as a heel.
He did well to carry Shane and the interference from Priceless only helped to get them all over as a heel group.

WWE ran the risk of having Orton, a blatant heel, becoming a face much like Austin did in the late 90's. Vince tried to make Austin Heel but no matter what he did, Austin kept getting cheered.

With legacy's interference this only helps to keep Orton in that heel persona that he does so well.
No surprise, Orton Victory. But a FANTASTIC match.

    FINLAY vs SWAGGER ECW TITLE
The only average match of the night.
No one got over as any kind of heel or face.
It's almost confusing as to what Finaly and Hornswoggle are.
Heels usually have outside interference, but finaly did, and this cost him the match(due to the Leprechaun).

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out as no one would want to see a near 350Ibs man/"father" square up to a dwarf. Or would they?

    HBK vs JBL.
I thought I knew how this was going to go.
However, through a lot of this match it didn't seem so clear cut.

After a massive beating that did get JBL over as a big heel, (although if you weren't already aware of that, you need your head checking).
Rebecca slapped JBL, which got over with the fans in a big way, the match was all HBK and all over.

This is coming to and end for Shawn and it'll be a sad day to see him go.

    Lastly the RAW Chamber match.
This was a chance for Raw to show off it's future as a "brand", and the future of it's young but very inspired talent.

There was a lot of criticism towards Knox and Kingston's participation in this Main Event, (mostly from marks and even myself) but Kingston was taken out in his entrance by Edge(the ultimate opportunist).

I actually looked forward to Kingston's involvement as the night progressed,
but this did get Edge over and could be a new interesting angle for Kofi as he can come up and be a big player in the future.

As I've said this was a Great PPV that showcased it's new stars and their potential.

So we see Edge now taking part in the RAW Elimination chamber.

We all knew that Cena would enter last, win the match, go to Mania and lose to Orton right?
Wrong. Jericho and Mysterio start, with Kane coming in and out in the first 6 minutes then Knox coming in to tear every one down.

It's hard not to see what J.R. and Vince see in Knox.
Knox is what Snitsky should have been.

But he went then, Edge and Cena came in.
What a surprise to see Cena taken out in less than five minutes.
The final two, (after Jericho went from a Mysterio pin) were Edge and Rey Mysterio.
The crowd was very hot all night and very hot for Rey.
They pulled out some great spots for this match, with tense near falls.
But The Ultimate Opportunist got the win.

How will this play out the next night on Raw or WrestleMania?
It gives Orton two titles to play for now, so this is a very interesting time within the wrestling world that we all love and follow closely.

As fans we all want to be entertained.
This does however play an angle similar to CM Punks title win after Night of Champions almost a year ago.
That angle was very exciting but could have been executed better.
    Maybe now it will be.

Here's hoping for the best Mania and an exciting future which WWE sorely needs right now.

    Mike.

    Well, Well, Well...

It looks like I was right again.

    I said Jeff wouldn't win.

I said that Cena would (Still don't see why he deserved it)

I also said that Edge would return either at or around S.S.

    AND

Don't ever trust WWE.com ever again. They broke the story of Jeff Hardy being taken to a hospital. Which was a LIE!!!

I found out 6hrs b4 the show that it was not only a LIE but a "work".

    So,

Here's the predictions I can make for the future of WWe:

Jeff, Edge, Kozlov and HHH /rivalry. Most likely to see Edge as champ for the next few months, Triple HHH to have time off for the birth of his 2nd child returning at Royal Rumble or just B4. He (HHH) will take the Title to WrestleMania 25 face Jeff Hardy (Royal Rumble winner)

Armagedon We'll definatley see Edge, Hardy maybe a Triple threat, depending on the progress of HHH/Stephanie's Pregnancy.

MVP vs Kahli will happen but quickly peeter out.

Cm Punk for the Intercontinental Title. (why?)

R-Truth to be US Champ but not for long. Benjemin to min it back quickly.

    Batista, Orton at Armagedon.

I think you'll see Batista remind eveyone and especially Shane about his re-match he never got as Jericho cashes in his rematch clause.

Seeing these 2 in a match for the No1 Contender at Armagedon. This will Piss Orton off, who'll get involved but wont challenge at Armagedon, due to his previous injury.

It can take months to even get to full fitness, he's only been back 3 weeks, and his injury took longer han expected.

MY PREDICTIONS, LIKE WWe, ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE, AS IS THIER CREATIVE PROCESS. BUT ANY PREDICTIONS I MAKE JUST B4 A PPV OR TV SHOW WILL BE SPOT ON.

    100% I'M ALWAYS RIGHT...
