The second taping started with Edge vs. Kung Funaki. Funaki started with offense, quite a bit actually, but then Edge dominated and won with a spear.
Promo time with Edge and Vickie Guerrero, but you could barely hear her. HHH and Jeff Hardy in a tag team gauntlet match was announced.
Michelle McCool vs. Maria was up next. It was back and forth offense, a normal diva match. Maria wins with schoolboy.
Maria was shown in the back. The divas congratulate her but McCool comes in and kicks her. I think Carlito says, "That's not cool."
Big Show does a promo backstage and announces a steel cage match. Then there was a video package of Big Show beating up Undertaker. Show says they are both going to hell and only one will come back .... Big Show.
MVP said if he didn't have bad luck, he'd have no luck at all. That led to MVP vs. Gregory Helms. He was called Hurricane Helms. He returned with long hair. Helms did not show much ring rust. It was back and forth offense. Hurricane chants filled the arena. Helms hit a flying crossbody and a spinning kick for the win and MVP's losing streak continued.
Next up was Jeff Hardy and HHH backstage. HHH told Hardy to stay out of his way and Jeff said he's sick of HHH and said that he'll see him out in the ring.
HHH and Jeff Hardy ran the gauntlet. The Edgeheads vs. Hardy starts off. HHH tags himself in. HHH hit a spinebuster, then a pedigree then when HHH goes for the pin, Jeff does a swanton for the win. Out next is John Morrison and The Miz. The chick magnet throws his shirt at HHH, who wipes his sweat off with it. Miz and HHH started off. Morrison came in and it was pretty basic with HHH dominating. HHH slapped Jeff on the shoulder to tag himself in. HHH came back in and Morrison took him down. Jeff came in and got a bit of offense on Miz and Morrison. Hardy slingshot outside taking everyone out. HHH started to beat up Hardy Your winners as a result of a count out are Morrison and The Miz! The refs restrained HHH and Hardy. The end???
Edge cut a promo in the back with Vickie. They were interrupted by Jeff Hardy. Edge said HHH attacked Hardy Sunday morning (in the WWE.com angle). HHH came in and Jeff immediately jumped on him until security broke it up. Edge and Vickie kissed.
Matt Hardy vs. Chavo Guerrero was next. Chavo hit offense to start the match but Matt came back. Matt hit a a bulldog. Hardy and Chavo traded offense. Vladimir Kozlov ran in and knocked out Hardy. He then tied Matt up in the ropes so the winner by DQ was Matt Hardy.
The red carpet is out and there are Christmas wreaths and stockings on the ring. You'll never guess who Santa is.... The Great Khali. Ranjin Singh is an elf and with a kiss cam. Singh introduced Santa's little helper, which is Eve. Then Khali hung mistletoe above Eve and kissed her.
Finally, they did the dark Steel Cage match. Big Show dominated and then missed a Vader Bomb. Taker got him in between the cage and ropes. Show battled out they battled back and forth. Show went and hit a superplex from the top and a near fall. Show tried to escape but Taker knocked him down. He acted like he's going out but did the throat slash. Then he does an elbow off the cage and missed. There were lots of near falls for both men. Finally, Show chokeslammed Taker for a near fall but then fell into The Devil's Triangle!!!! Show tapped out.

Dark Match, I believe. "The Foundation" Nattie Neidhart with TJ and DH Smith vs. Carlito and Primo Colon. Carlito hit some impressive springboards. Carlito and Primo got the win off a Backstabber on TJ.
Vickie Guerrero comes out. You can barely hear her as she introduces her husband Edge. He's shooting about jeff's problems... Edge and Vickie get all lovey dovey. Jeff runs in and goes after Vickie. She's in the ring and security breaks it up. Then HHH runs in and Vladimir Koslov gets on mic. He says he is here to get the belt.
There are Beat The Clock matches for the Number 1 contender's match at Armageddon.
Jeff Hardy vs. THE Brian Kendrick is next. Kendrick was going in and out of the ring to stall time. Jeff was completely on the offensive. Hardy hit a couple near falls. A Whisper in the Wind attempt was blocked. Kendrick did a a lot of chokes. Hardy hit The Whsper in the Wind. Then and a Swanton for the win at 12:13.
The Bella Twins and Michelle McCool vs. Maryse, Natalya and Victoria is next, with Maryse winning after a pin on Michelle when Brie accidentally clotheslined her.
Next was lots of video packages.
Vladimir is in the ring vs. Matt Hardy. The beat the clock time to beat is 12:13. Matt kept running in and out of the ring to waste time to help his brother win. Vlad didn't pin him within the time so Jeff Hardy's time still stands.
Jesse and Festus took on John Morrison and The Miz. The heels used the bell against Festus and ended up losing by DQ.
Next was Shelton Benjamin vs. HHH trying to beat the clock time of 12:13. HHH immediately tries for the Pedigree but Shelton had some offense. Shelton hit a really nice looking DDT but HHH followed with his normal move set. He hit the Pedigree but the ref was down. Time ran out but ref counted 3 at 0. A second ref came out. They argued and showed it on the TitanTron. Then they said that Jeff and HHH both had the same time and Jeff came out.

Cena The Heel?
So after being about 30-40% booed at Survivor Series upon his entrance and the way he acted on Raw, the question comes up and maybe just me but still it has to be asked.
Should John Cena turn heel?
Following Raw Monday night, it makes you think that maybe it's not such a bad look for him. The intensity he showed last night and him being so relentless and unforgiving towards Jericho and Jericho basically just taking it gives some foundation to the idea.
The idea has both sides for and against if his actions are leading towards a heel or just solidifying him as a deserving champion rather than the comeback kid (which I'm sure, he wouldn't mind being dubbed). Could it be his adreneline and his willingness converted into a relentless and unforgiving character which would put him closer to earning the respect of alot of people in the " WWE Universe " as a superstar who could leave his mark on the WWE for not only his new era style of wrestling.
If you do turn him heel, do the fans stop turning out? Not saying that they all go to see Cena but the children Cena fans are heavy in numbers so do you take that as the reason not to or do you do something that not too many people are even thinking about and promote the comeback for over the last month and flip the script?
Maybe it's just me but I feel as if Cena turns heel, he could launch his career further and be able to last as long as a HHH. Just think, what champion has not been a HUGE heel and a HUGE babyface? My opinion, the WWE has huge heels in Jericho and Orton. And now ya, you could do the predictable feud between him and Batista, Jericho, or Orton, or you could turn him heel and introduce a new stable. This would give more meaning to the " If you want some, come get some " line.
