Favorite WWE Moment: Ultimate Warrior defeating Hulk Hogan with the press slam and then hearing the ultimate warrior music! ( i was like 10 or 11 and a big Ultimate Warrior Fan at the time). The time The Million Dollar Man during a Million Dollar challenge asked a kid to dribble a basketball 10 times and when he was at 9 as the ball was coming down he kicked it away so he wouldnt win the money, that was classic.
Favorite Finishing Move: Go to Sleep (That is one of the most creative moves i seen in awhile) and a move that i dont see anyone do anymore the old blockbuster done by Marcus (Buff) Bagwell and Lex Lugers Tourcher Rack
Favorite Superstar Quote: 2 B the man you have to beat the man Whooo!
Favorite WWE Pay-Per-View: I know it was a summer slam but i cant remeber the number i know the best matches on that payper view was The Rock and Triple H in a ladder match (HHH was in Dx and used to dress up like the Rock that was a good match) The main event was Stone Cold vs the Undertaker (Stone Cold caught the Undertaker during oldschool with a stunner it was great)
Favorite Entrance Theme: The Ultimate Warriors theme song of course all 80's babies used to go wild when the Ultimate Warrior came out My son loves the John Cena theme song though i like the beat to it

unfortunately, i didn't get to see wrestlemania though :[ i've only seen some clips and even those were great! i applaued undertaker for wrestling two more times afterwards before taking a rest like hbk. chavo is one of me favs and an exellent wrestler (last time he was, was when he teamed with eddie), shame what their doin to him. a wwe crew member said he was talkin about quiting (which isn't a bad idea now). a lot of people hate hornswoggle. i don't have a problem with'em, just put him back under dee ring or let him run wild backstage haha. wwe does need to get aggressive and show some blood here and there.

i can't believe they block out blood on wwe 24/7! people pay for that! i feel like they shouldn't do that if people are paying money for it! i understand why they do this, but i hate watching attitude era matches from wwe they always block out anything with an "f". i'd rather watch them on youtube. when i bought me hhh king of kings dvd & austin legacy dvd they blocked out dee middle finger, blood, and of course dee "f". i don't really enjoy watching them for that reason. uncut versions of their dvds should be available, but their too stupid to at least do that!

a shame dee backstage problems goin on in tna. i heard nash isn't happy, heard a bout dee kurt and jeff thing, and you're right they need to beef up on dee advertising. i think they might get some more exposure with this playboy deal they just signed. tna is doing better than ecw because that show is lame and corporate (compared to what it use to be). i'm surprised people don't wrestle on there with suits and ties. now, although i hate that show i will say at least it was a little descent in dee beginning with dee originals.

i also wanna say, what's dee points of having exclusive brands when any wrestler can come on any show anytime they want!?

hey, i liked ur blog comment. i agree with some of what u said. injuries are a burn right now, and i heard a lot about how vince isn't happy with his product. wwe is only doing well enough to stay in business, compared to before. i'm on here because i love interacting with other fans and some of me favs still wrestle. i overall don't like what they've become and the bad decisions they've been making.

tna is on the rise and once they get things together, since they aren't pg, their going to bury this wwe kiddy rub****. since turning pg wwe has invested in too much comedy. fans want see wrestling, not a comedy hour! mature audiences love wrestling too, not just little kids and even before, kids loved it.

an i'm pretty sure those people who u said would complain about linda representing a company that promots bad behavor let their kids see batman: dark knight or any other violent movie. what does that say about them? of course linda doesn't condone bad behavior for kids, but at dee same time she has a business to help run and everybody knows it's just for entertainment.

First, I want to start by saying that I think it is really cool that someone actually took the time to read my rant and that they then took the time to comment back.

I think that the comment left was very good and very insightful. As a long time fan of the WWE, even I need to be reminded sometimes that not everyone will get a quick rise to the top. Many of the greatest world champions had to put in several years at the mid-card level before getting their big break. Shawn Michaels was the name that was mentioned but he’s not alone; Bret “Hitman” Hart, Edge, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, and Chris Benoit are examples of superstars who had long and highly decorated careers before they got a chance to be world champion. Heck, even “Stone Cold” Steve Austin had put in several years as “Stunning” Steve Austin in WCW as both a tag team champion and United States Champion. He even had a run as WWF’s Intercontinental Champion before getting his break at WrestleMania XIV, kicking off the “Austin Era.” Not everyone can come into the WWE and in a few years be called heavyweight champion. Kurt Angle, John Cena, Randy Orton and Dave Batista are very fortunate to have had a fast track to the top and still sustain successful careers. All too often Superstars are given their “big break” before they are ready and they spend the rest of their careers unsuccessfully trying to leave up to the hype. Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley, and Bill Goldberg are perfect examples.

So I get it… sometimes you have to be patient and let superstars slowly progress into champion status. But this point really wasn’t what my last blog was about. I didn’t rant because I was afraid Evan Bourne, Mark Henry, and Jack Swagger weren’t going to get recognized for their efforts with championships. I was ranting because I was afraid they might completely lose their air time.

Evan Bourne is a very exciting young man to watch. He is an incredible talent and should be featured on every episode of a brand’s weekly telecast. On ECW, he was practically guaranteed that. On Raw, that just isn’t going to be the case. I’m hoping I’m wrong. Kofi Kingston was able to get right into the mix of things when he got drafted to Raw, but I’ve seen too many great talents just tossed aside. Matt Morgan had all of the tools to be a great asset to the WWE, but a lack of creative direction got him booted and he is now a star in TNA. A more recent example is Ken Doane, AKA “Kenny Dykstra.” A stand out “blue chipper” of the Spirit Squad, he was the only one left when the rest of the green team got shipped back to OVW. Despite three impressive victories over Ric Flair, Doane quickly faded away into the background. Even an attempt to pair him with Johnny Nitro didn’t do much for his character. A brand switch to SmackDown should have been a great way to re-invent the Dykstra character and give Kenny the attention he deserved. Instead, he became the male valet of Victoria and then disappeared as SmackDown moved from the CW to MyNetwork TV.

Now, I’ll admit Bourne’s character has more charisma than Dykstra and Morgan combined, and so he shouldn’t fade away but, again, I’m losing faith. Let’s face it, Kane had been off TV since he was drafted to SmackDown. His absence wasn’t because he was hurt or needed time off. It was because creative didn’t have anything for him. If stars like Kane aren’t immune from creative’s lack of creativity, what does that say for new guys trying to make their mark?

Let’s go a step further. This past Sunday, Jack Swagger and Mark Henry got to appear on The Bash because they were part of a Championship Scramble. What are the chances that either of them will show up on Night of Champions or Summer Slam. Heck, what are the chances they’ll be a part of No Mercy? I mean, Edge, Big Show, Kingston, and MVP were left off the card for the Bash (admittedly, Edge made it on); if these guys aren’t being advertised for PPVs, do we really think Henry, Swagger, or Bourne will really get put on the card?

Again, I may be over-reacting. I may be completely wrong. WWE has certainly made moves in the past that has made me question the creative direction of the company and they have always made it back to the promise land. Still… I can’t help but be concerned.
