hi guys! sorry i couldn't make a smackdown blog on friday but here is the results for summerslam which was probably the best PPV of 2008- better than wrestlemania 24. the undertaker made probably his best ever entrance stepping into his playground - hell in a cell. the undertaker's fury was too much for the edge of old who was a fan favourite. undertaker won the match and edge literally went through the canvas and straight to hell. i now believe undertaker will challenge to become WWE Champion. in the supposed biggest match between john cena and batista it lived up to its hype batista proved to be the better after stealing his mentor ric flair's signature move the figure 4 leg lock. it wore down cena's legs leaving him open for an inverted batista bomb from the top rope. in the wwe championship match the seemingly impossible task facing triple h was just another obstacle for him to overcome. he timed it perfectly wearing down khali's legs and then hitting a pedigree. in the world heavyweight title matchup cm punk silenced jbl and all his critics by overpowering the longhorn loudmouth with ease. is it time for jbl to give it up permenantly? in hbk's return it was silenced almost immediately by fanny rash chris jericho. hbk was going to announce his retirement but jericho had swung for hbk and most only to wipe out his wifel. surely hbk can't leave without vowing revenge on chris jericho? in the winners take all tag match the so called "glamarella" overcame mickie james and kofi kingston to get the intercontinental and women's titles respectively. when will mickie and kofi use their rematch clause? in the worst match of the evening mvp beat jeff hardy - with ease. tony atlas got involved in the ecw title match getting mark henry dq'd meaning that he could retain the title.

on smackdown tomorrow there is a six diva tag match in which the team of maryse, natalya and victoria defeat michelle (my favourite smackdown diva) cherry and maria. wwe tag champs hawkins and ryder beat shannon moore and jimmy wang yang. jeff hardy beat shelton benjamin via disqualification due to mvp's interference in the match and it was then revealed that at summerslam it will be mvp vs jeff hardy. vladamir kozlov continued his undefeated streak by beat jesse. cocky and arrogant " the " brian kendrick pulled off a victory against super crazy. the great khali and triple h collided in an arm wrestling match which ended up in triple h being left battered on the floor. the biggest story of the evening happended backstage where first bam neely was found on the floor with a black rose layed on top. later, the wwe tag champs were found in the same state with a black rose over the top. vickie and chavo called edge out to the ring to ask him if he was behind this. he denied and then they called out the undertaker. the lights went down but all that happened was edge getting a steel chair and hitting it over chavo's head. he then tipped vickie out of her wheelchair and left her in the ring leaving with a sick smile.
