    Monday Night Raw - November 16th 2009 - Fanatic's Afterthoughts:

Tuesday, November 17, 2009, 06:09 AM EST [General]

First of all, hats off to Roddy Piper for his classic mic skills, that craziness is still there, and will always be!

What a great Monday night it was! Watching an excellent Raw live from Madison Square Garden definitely brightened up this week for me! Raw has never been this great in some time I have to admit, but last night definitely delivered! Here are some of the key reasons for Raw succeeding to captivate me, and other members of the WWE Universe.

The brawl which ensued between Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton was plain wicked. And it sure was well received by the Madison Square Garden crowd! This was one of the highlights of the night, and it just brought the level of anticipation for this Sunday's Survivor Series, to a whole new level. Kofi's team and Orton's team are both promising ones, and this Sunday would determine which team is the better one.

By the way, anybody noticed the cut on Randy Orton's face, which led to some bloodshed? As usual, cameramen did not zoom in on Orton's face, due to the current era and all, but for a split second, the camera did capture the approximated 3.5 - 4cm cut on Orton's forehead. Pretty cool I guess... XD

Another key feature of last night had to be the main event, Jeri-Show vs DX vs Undertaker & John Cena. That match held me glued to the edge of my seat. All superstars involved in that match put up an excellent one, greatly appealing to the fans' sense of excitement. Wonder what is gonna happen in the Triple Threat matches this Sunday... Survivor Series, if given the right bookings, may very well be PPV of the year, although I still strongly believe Summerslam will claim that title.

Undertaker's Tombstone Piledriver to John Cena at the end of Raw seemed quite random to me. What was that for?! Coz John Cena had tagged himself into the match? Or could this signify a possible Cena-Taker rivalry going into Wrestlemania 26? Many questions still lie unanswered, but as the days go on, they will definitely be answered.

Have a great week, and see you guys at the Survivor Series life chat, which will be organized by me and some of my buddies.

    Signing Off,

    WWE Fanatic.

Kurt Angle arrested for allegedly abusing Rhaka Khan!

Saturday, August 15, 2009, 09:44 PM EST [General]

Ok this is pretty weird... but Kurt Angle got arrested today for allegedly abusing Rhaka Khan! He was also reported to be seen walking around a Starbucks parking lot deleting pictures of abuse from Rhaka's phone.

This is really crazy! But Kurt has been released from the custody of a jail in Pittsburgh now. He will still be appearing at Hard Justice tomorrow night.

You guys watching Hard Justice tomorrow night? What do you think is gonna happen?

WWE Censoring Blood Probably Due To PG Era!

Sunday, July 5, 2009, 10:57 PM EST [General]

As reported earlier on, WWE is now censoring blood during the Video On Demand advertisements, by making the images with blood in it, black and white!

Wonder what is going on, WWE is now definitely heading for pure money rather than giving us more entertainment!

    What do you think?

WWE Smackdown: 12th June 2009: Full Review

Saturday, June 13, 2009, 07:42 AM EST [General]

    Event: WWE Smackdown

    Date: 12th June 2009

    Venue: Biloxi, Mississippi

A promo of Extreme Rules 2009 is shown about the Ladder Match with Jeff Hardy emerging victorious, and CM Punk cashing in his money in the bank contract to become the new Champion.

    WWE Smackdown then kicks off.

    CM Punk speaks

To start things off, CM Punk talks about his actions at Extreme Rules, stating that he had to make use of the opportunity to become the champion. He said he was not a bad guy just because he cashed in his Money In The Banks contract. Jeff Hardy interrupts halfway, claiming that CM Punk did not earn the title, and called him selfish. Jeff Hardy then says he wants to have his re-match tonight. Edge then comes out, and says he should have the rematch before Jeff Hardy does, and says CM Punk looks up to him, as he calls himself the 'Straightedge Superstar' with the world 'Edge' in it. Jeff Hardy then proceeds to attack both Edge and CM Punk, and GM Theodore Long comes out. He makes a No.1 Contender Match with Jeff Hardy facing Edge, for the winner to face CM Punk at 3-FOR-ALL on Monday Night RAW.

Theodore Long walks into the office to find Chris Jericho there. Chris Jericho asks for a World Heavyweight Title opportunity, and for Chris to prove it, Theodore Long sets another main event: Chris Jericho v.s. CM Punk.

Dolph Ziggler vs The Great Khali

Dolph gets out of the ring a couple of times once the match begins, but The Great Khali is in domination. But in the end, Dolph Ziggler emerges victorious when he harrases Ranjith Singh causing the Great Khali to come out of the ring, and Dolph Ziggler manages to get back into the ring at the referee's 9 count, while Khali gets counted out.

    Winner: Dolph Ziggler via countout.

Next Monday Night RAW'S 3-FOR-ALL special event promo is shown.

Layla and Michelle McCool vs Melina and Eve Torres

This match was pretty good, with alot of skill shown by Melina and Michelle McCool. In the end, with distraction by Alicia Fox, Michelle delivers the devastating Facebreaker for the win.

    Winners: Layla and Michelle McCool

Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas vs John Morrison and R-Truth

Awesome match-up! All participants showed their awesome skills in this match and I really liked it! In the end, John Morrison won after his finisher, the Starship Pain! That move of his rocks!

    Winners: John Morrison and R-Truth

Jim Ross thanks all who watched Extreme Rules life on PPV or via the webcast on WWE.COM

Chris Jericho vs CM Punk ( Champion vs Champion)

Before the match, Chris Jericho bragged about his 2 achievements at Extreme Rules, about ripping Mysterio's mask off and winning the Intercontinental Championship for the ninth time. He said Rey Mysterio should thank him for taking off his mask.

The match showcased both Jericho's and Punk's athletic skills, and Chris Jericho did kick out of several good moves from Punk. CM Punk finally hit a devastating Enziguri and the GTS ( Go To Sleep) for the pinfall.

    Winner: CM Punk

A promo of the latest DVD in store, Machoman Randy Savage Ultimate Collection is shown.

A 'RAW Rebound' is shown of Batista getting injured, and Triple H returning and decimating Randy Orton.

No.1 Contenders Match For The World Heavyweight Championship: ( Winner Gets To Face CM Punk at 3-FOR-ALL)

    Jeff Hardy vs Edge

This match was pretty good, but unfortunately Jeff Hardy was not in his full form during the match, due to knee injuries sustained at Extreme Rules. Edge appeared to be in a better shape although it seemed he got more injuries during that hellacious ladder match. After a tough fight with 2 or 3 Twists Of Fates and Edge working on Jeff Hardy's injured knee,  Edge had no choice but to throw Jeff Hardy at CM Punk, who had joined the commentary table to witness the match. Punk got frustrated at Edge, and started attacking him, causing Jeff Hardy the disqualification. Jeff Hardy started attacking CM Punk and delivered another Twist Of Fate to Edge. CM Punk then got up and delivered the GTS to Hardy. CM Punk stood tall.

    Winner: Edge, via Disqualification

After the match, Theodore Long is shown in his office, together with Tiffany, and they talk about the 3-FOR-ALL next week. Theodore Long then announces that at 3-FOR-ALL next Monday Night, it will be a Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship, featuring CM Punk, Edge and Jeff Hardy.

*** BE SURE TO CATCH 3-FOR-ALL NEXT MONDAY NIGHT. THE REVIEW WILL BE POSTED HERE AS SOON AS THE EVENT ENDS***

WWE Superstars: June 11th 2009: Full Review

Friday, June 12, 2009, 08:14 AM EST [General]

Event: WWE Superstars on WGN America

    Date: 11th June 2009

WWE Superstars kicks off with fireworks, and a promo for the main event featuring John Morrison going against Chris Jericho.

Diva Tag Team Match: The Bella Twins v.s. Beth Pheonix and Rosa Mendes

This match was not bad, but the ending was. The Bella Twins had good potential to win this match, but Rosa kept the referee distracted long enough for Beth Phoenix to deliver her finisher, and get the win.

Winners: Beth Phoenix and Rosa Mendes

After this, a RAW REBOUND is played, highlighting events after Extreme Rules, about Batista getting injured and the Game's return.

Another promo about next week's 3-Hour Episode of Raw's 3-FOR-ALL.

A promo is shown of Kofi Kingston's high flying performances.

    Evan Bourne vs Zack Ryder

As usual, Zack Ryder gives some stupid sound effects and taunts Evan Bourne at the beginning of the match. Zack Ryder shows off some good suplexes, but Evan Bourne's athletic performance gives him the win, after a Shooting Star Press right from the top rope onto Zack Ryder.

    Winner: Evan Bourne

Main Event: John Morrison vs Chris Jericho

A highly athletic match! Many high-flying moves were seen together with cool maneuvers, but after John Morrison's excellent attempt to win the match using his athleticism, Chris Jericho won after a rollup by holding the tights. Dirty work as usual, although Chris Jericho did kick out of certain powerful moves by John Morrison.

    Winner: Chris Jericho

After the match, John Morrison looks on at Jericho, as WWE Superstars goes off the air.
