well, it has been a very long time since i have blogged, and i just wanted to get back into it. so here is something that i have been thinking about.

the divas. i have always been a fan of womens wrestling. i love to see what they can bring to the table. i have to be honest though. i think the divas matches are now a joke. i have been feeling this way for a very long time and its just about to drive me crazy!!!

so, back in the 90's there was the real women wrestlers. you had trish stratus, lita, molly holly, chyna, sable, ivory, jazz, luna, jacqueline, and more.  these women really wrestled! while watching that teenie tiny little chapter of the divas from the dvd "wwe greatest stars of the 90s", it made me really sad to think of what the womens wrestling has come to. i mean, i know it the 90s the women were older and maybe not as attractive as the divas today, but come on people....this is wrestling. if i wanted to see a bunch of women trying to be pretty and all, i would just watch americas next top model or something. i mean this is ridiculous!!!! the womens championship (like the tag team championship) is losing all its meaning! its pathetic!!

i think the problem is that they thought they would make more money if they had a bunch of pretty little girls that the men could drool over. they would want to pay money just to see these girls. the problem is they cant wrestle!!!! these girls look like they have no experience. dont get me wrong, wwe does have some good divas. for instance, im a fan of mickie james, melina, beth phoenix, natalya, and gail. but come on. moving melina to smackdown so that her competition is alicia fox, candice, eve, and layla. the only diva on that show that could even be close to deserving the womens championship other than melina is michelle mccool. and by the way....no, i do not want michelle mccool to be the first diva to have had both the womens title and divas title. i want mickie to win on raw so that she can be the first.

so now on raw, you have beth and mickie fighting for the divas championship....? come on. is that belt really worth anything?

another thing....why is natalya on ecw? one of the best divas in the wwe, and she is on a show where she has no competition other that katie lea. that and she hasnt even wrestled in i dont know how long!!! why are othe best divas being forgotten. they just lost one of their best divas to another show b/c she was giving a stupid gimmick. jillian is also a lot better that she is getting credit for! why is she still doing this gimmick!?

for a while there i was really excited to see that they were going to crown miss wrestlemania!!! i was like, "finally!!!!! they are going to bring some attention back to the divas!" but then i saw the match. i wanted to vomit!!! they basically insulted every female wrestler that has ever wrestled in the wwe!!! i mean, i have to be honest. this santina thing is pretty funny. ok...its REALLY  funny, but did that have to bring santina in this way? this could have been a really good opportunity for them to let the divas shine! give respect back to all the women who have wrestled in this business. but, no!!! they couldnt even do that! and i dont even want to start on how vickie had the crown for a while! i was really upset to see that lita and trish were not involved in the battle royal, but after seeing how that match turned out, i dont blame them for not wanting to be involved!

so, this rant has made me feel a teenie bit better! i know i am not the only one who feels this way!!

well, i know i am going to get some people who dont really agree with me, and thats ok. just tell me how you feel about the divas now and then!

TRISH STRATUS!!!!! trish came out of retirement for one night to tag team with john cena. they tagged against glamerella!  it was surprising to see a divas match and santino all in one for the main event! i thought it was weird. even being out of wrestling for years, trish came back like she never left! she was so great!

well, i think it is great that they are using the divas in storylines right now. i am interesting to see were this kelly kelly/ kane thing is going!

tonight we had four matches that were going to determine the four opponents for next mondays fatal four way to become the number one contendor for the world heavyweight championship. phew...that was a mouthful. anyways...the first match was hbk vs kane. during this match i was just imagining seeing hbk as world champ! i think it would be fantastic!!! i mean, we need a new champ! so hbk wins his match tonight!

next match was kofi kingston vs manu. nothing special really. im not a fan of manu.the only interesting thing to come from tihs match was backstage, manu and cody walk up to orton to see him talking to another second generation superstar. sim snuka aka deuce. so i think that we have a new member coming to "the legacy".

our divas match of the night was a tag team match. melina and mickie james vs. jillian hall and layla.  melina and mickie came running out like they have been friends for years. mickie runs down to the right with melina riding on her back. it was funny. so,  i dont know about anyone else, but i see melina being the next womens champ. she is so amazing in the ring. i love her new finisher, Last Call. its great!melina gets the pin in this match.

jbl vs rey for the fatal four way. this match was pretty good, even though the crowd was chanting, "u cant wrestle, u cant wrestle!". there really isnt much that jbl does except clotheslines and boots to the faces. its annoying. but i really thought that rey was going to win until right before he was about to do the 619, hbk comes out grabs jbl and slaps him, ending the match in DQ. jbl wins. so i know that hbk isnt going to win the fatal four way b/c jbl will not let him! grrrrr!!!!!!! there went my hope to see a new world champ!

next was orton vs batista. the ref comes down to the ring and says that orton wins by forfeit b/c batista isnt well enough to wrestle. dumb!

next match was cm punk vs jericho. i thought this was weird b/c punk is already number one contendor for the intercontinental championship. it was also weird hearing the crowd chanting for jericho! but they were in canada...that is another reason i knew that cenas new tag team partner was going to be trish!!!! anyways, back to jericho and punk.  the matches ending was great. it ended with cm punk attempting his springboard clothesline, but jericho counters it into the codebreaker! it was perfect!

and the match of the night! the mixed tag team match. glamerella vs cena and TRISH STRATUS!! it was so amazing to see how the divas use to be. u dont see them wrestle like that anymore! trish wrestles with such force and power! you can tell that she was there to wrestle and not to "look good"! i wanna see the divas like this again! i wanna see the divas have important matches!

thanks for surprising us trish!!! it was great to see u!!!!

Well, i guess all of you know how i am feeling right now! i knew that he could do it!!! Jeff hardy is the new wwe champion!!!!! he has had a rough and tough year and it couldnt end any better for him!!! i am so excited for him and i cant wait to see where this takes our new wwe champion!!!

so, for the rest of the night. i have to say that i was pretty bored until the triple threat match! i hate to say it, but its true. the one match that i didnt even care to see was the one match (other than the triple threat match) that i thought was great! it was the belfast brawl match with finlay and mark henry.

the first match was ecw champion matt hardy vs kozlov in a non title match. kozlov came out the winner of this match.

cm punk vs rey mysterio for the number 1 contendor for the intercontinental championship. this match was not that bad, but i thought it would be better. the current IC champion william regal was ringside with layla observing the match. i couldnt believe that he didnt get involved. the match ends with punk getting the win with the go to sleep. i believe he broke reys nose. 

the belfast brawl was actual good. we first see finlay backstage telling hornswoggle not to come out because it is safer for him there. the match gets going when they start in with the trash cans and the kendo sticks. finlay grabs his shillelagh but henry ends up with it and breaks it in half. after mark henry does that he also breaks a kendo stick in half. hornswoggle comes to the ring, bringing another shillelagh and finlay hits mark henry with it. finlay wins the match.

we had a divas tag team match too. i was really excited to see this match because i heard that michelle mccool had a new finisher because her other one was banned. i was excited to see this until i actual saw it. i am a fan on tna wrestling too and one of my favorite wrestlers there by the name of aj style has a move called the styles clash. that is michelle mccools new move. i dont like seeing michelle using that move. it would have been different if she put her own little twist to it to make it hers then that would be fine. but she does it just like him!!! im not happy about that! so the match end with a continuation of the maria and michelle "feud". maria was about the finish the match when michelle tags herself in and wins the match. i think we are soon going to see a heel michelle. i guess we will see if thats actually going to work.

there was the match four years in the making. batista vs randy orton. this goes all the way back to evolution when randy was kicked out. the match was okay. i mean, it wasnt anything special. i mean they are like equals in the ring. they both have the strength and power. randy scared me once when he was thrown out of the ring and grabbed his collarbone. i thought he had reinjured it! but batista wins the match.

john cena vs chris jericho for the world heavyweight championship. it was just an ordinary match to me. cena comes out champion.

then the match of the night!!!! the triple threat match. the current wwe champion edge, vs triple h vs jeff hardy. the match starts with jeff hardy taking down both edge and triple h. it was a back and forth battle with tons of close calls. the match really heated up when kozlov comes down to the ring and pulls triple h out of the ring. matt hardy comes down and attacks kozlov. jeff gets up on the turnbuckle but gets knocked off by kozlov.  they also end up on the outside near the anounce tables. triple h gets jeff up on the middle table and fails to do the pedigree (i think) and moves out of the way so that edge spears jeff hardy. the match ends with the swanton bomb on edge making jeff hardy the new wwe champion!!!!!

well, even though i didnt like the whole pay per view, that last match really made up for it! way to go jeff hardy!!!!!!!!!!

 

well, its time for a new blog! its been a while. i didnt realize it had been so long, until my friend ROB reminded me.

like most of my blogs i am not going to talk about every match of each night. just a few.

so starting with sundays survivors series. i just have to say that i am a big fan of the elimination matches. they are so entertaining. i like guessing who gets eliminated first, next, and so on. so thats what i did. starting with the team michaels vs team JBL match. i really thought that team JBL would come out of this match the winners. but thankfully i was wrong. i mean, i was rooting for team michaels but i thought team JBL would win only b/c i thought that michaels team wasnt that great. i love cryme tyme, but miz and morrison are better. and i dont think khali can wrestle. but i was amazed to find a great match. i liked the ending. morrison again, trying to imitate hbk's move. hbk turns around, ducks from morrisons imitation of the sweet chin music and hbk is able to do the finisher, with the 1,2,3 count!

next was the womens elimination match. raw vs smackdown divas! i really liked this match. one thing that i hated though was that like usual lately, victoria was pinned...and first! what is that all about?? can anyone tell me? i love victoria! we all know she can take all the divas. why is she being used this way? ok....sorry, i had to vent. now, back to the match. i was rooting for the raw divas. now, i am going to admit to something that i never thought possible. i am becoming a fan of maryse! i cant believe how well she has done. i can really see her as divas champ. i liked how michelle mccool was eliminated b/c maria accidentally elbowed michelle. it is just fueling this fued! i love it!

when i got onto wwe.com sunday and saw that jeff hardy was found unconcious and they were not sure if he would be able to wrestle, i was furious! a part of me was (like everyone else) thinking the worst. part of me wanted to defend him, and the other part just didnt know how many more times i could. it was getting hard to do. then, i realize that it was only a storyline! that made me hate to think that i was sucked in so easily to believe that it was real. i dont like that they have used this storyline, but if jeff is ok with it, then im game. so, the match is now one on one, kozlov vs triple h. the match was so boring until vickie comes running out screaming, "hes here!" i just know she was talking about edge! i am not happy that edge is now wwe champion, but i really think that this is going to set up an amazing fued between edge and jeff hardy.

and the night ends with cena becoming the new world heavyweight champion! as long as jericho doesnt have it, im good.

ok. now onto raw.

we have a six divas tag team match. MELINA  returns!!!!!! i am such a big fan of hers. the return of melina was messed up when the titantron revealed her name as candice michelle came out. melina won this match with an incredible new move! what was that? that just made me gasp! i cant wait to see more of her!!!

goldust came back monday to wrestle santino! "golden dust" won the match!

rey mysterio and hbk had a match with miz and morrison. the thing that was weird about this match was what happened after the match. JBL attacked morrison instead of hbk. whats that all about?

now to tuesdays ecw.

jack swagger and tommy dreamer had an extreme rules match. i was actually impressed. jack swagger took to the "extreme" rules very well.  he seemed like a natural! so the match ended like all tommy dreamer matches do. dreamer lost to swagger.

mark henry had a match against finlay, but im not a mark henry fan, and finlay hasnt really entertained me much, so that match bored me.

onto smackdown!

vickie made three beat the clock matches to see who will face edge at armaggeddon.

jeff hardys match was first against the brian kendrick. this match just aggrivated me. i just thought...the time....the time....you are runnig too long. all of kozlovs matches have been shorter than this. how is this gonig to work out in the end. so, jeff beats kendrick with the swanton bomb in 12 minutes and 13 seconds.

maryse, victoria, and natalya were in a tag team match aginst the bella twins and michelle mccool. the bella twins need to wear different outfits so we can tell them apart! this match ended with one of the bella twins acciddentally clotheslining michelle and mayse picking up the win. so michelle is screaming at the bella twins, demanding to know which one hit her! maria comes running out and tries to stop them. michelle pushes maria down! its getting heated between these two.

vladimirs match was against matt hardy. matt was able to stall the match long enough for the time to run out. (on a side note: i saw kozlov smile or smirk twice in this match...that was different.LOL)

jesse and festus vs miz and morrison. this match was hilarious!!! like lately, miz and morrison were playing with the bell to mess with festus. it was great!! the crwod loved it!!!

the last mtch was triple h vs shelton benjamin! this match ended exactly on the last second!!! so the refs had to evalute the match. so know we have to see how this is going to end up!

i read a blog that my friend steve did (thanks for the idea steve) and he listed some of the wwe superstars and said what he felt about them. some were as simple as: i like and i hate... well, i wanted to do that same blog and tell you what i thought about them!

batista: i like him...sometimes

beth phoenix: she is growing on me. i like and dislike the glamarella angle. i think it is hilarious, but it makes beth seem less scary.

candice michelle: i like her...i dont think she should have a title match so soon though.

charlie haas: i am loving what they are doing with him right now!!!

chris jericho:  i like him

cm punk: i like him but not really as the world heavyweight champion.

cody rhodes: he is growing on me. i think him and ted are doing really great right now!!

jamie noble: i LOVE jamie noble. i wish that they had light heavyweight and cruiserweight titles still b/c he would be champ!!!

JBL: he was tolerable as commentator, but i hate him as a wrestler!

jillian hall: hate her as a singer, like her as a wrestler! she has so much potential, but not the right angle! its really sad!

john cena: i like him when he makes his come backs, but i have seen too much cena in the main event matches.

cryme tyme: i like them. they are real crowd pleasers and really get the fans going.

kane: i love kane!!!! i love him as a heel or face!!!

katie lea burchill: i really like her! i wish she had more air time!!!

kelly kelly: i like her

kofi kingston: i like him

melina: i love melina!!! i hope she has a speedy recovery b/c she can be next womens champion!!!!

mickie james: i use to really like her, but she seems kind of out of it!

paul burchill: i like him

paul london: i love paul!!! i hope he makes an appearance before he gets let go.

randy orton: love him. he is the perfect heel

rey mysterio: i like him

santino marella: love him!

shawn michaels: well hello? he is  the heartbreak kid, the showstopper, the main event, mr wrestlemania, the icon, the headliner.......i LOVE HIM!!!!

william regal: he does nothing for me...except annoy me.

the big show: i did like him until he became budy buddy with vickie

brie bella: i like her...and her twin

carlito: i love him now that he is tagging with his brother

curt hawkins and zack ryder: remind me why they are tag teams champs again...oh thats right, b/c they are the only tag teams

edge: i like him

jesse and festus: "biscuits and gravy!!!" i love them!!

gregory helms: cant wait for him to get back in the ring!!!!!
