Well, here is a review of Smackdown for everyone. I thought it was a pretty solid show. NOt great , but solid. I honestly think these double tapings are hurting the quality of the show, but, it is what it is. Here goes: Opening segment with Edge and Jeff was great. Great stuff. The Main Event was very good also. Edge gave me scare but it was selling pretty much. Had not heard he was injured and from what I understand he is ok. He is Mexico now so I am sure he is ok.
The Triple H interview was cool. Of course, it confirmed what everyone has (or should have) known that Hunter and Steph were married. Big revelation. LOL Anyway, Mr. Randy Keith Orton, watch out!!! There is a little inconsistency here as HHH himself has pedigreed Steph (WM18 I believe). However, that is creative for ya.
Rest of the show was decent. Glad to see MVP winning. The segment with the Bella twins was just ok. I hated the run in in the Main Event, but I guess they want to set up Jeff vs Matt for Mania.

Yes, there was very little wrestling to my slight dismay, but never mind. This was an awesome show. Great mic work and awesome moments. The opening bit with Edge and Cena was great. Love that "WRONG, WRONG, WRONG." bit from Edge. I thought it was very funny when he went after that kid in the audience (plant I am sure). Of course, Cena wants his belt back. Great stuff out of both of these guys. One caveat with that "Wrong. etc etc" bit is that it could get tiring to the point of annoying and it loses it's heat/impact. Vickie was great in getting heat also I want to say.
Y2J and Piper were awesome. Off the charts. Great promo by Piper and a great overall segment. Loved it. I really loved the last match leading into the great ending. The match between Shane and Orton was a typical street fight and all, but Randy Orton not only punting Shane to oblivion, but also delivering the RKO to Stephanie was fantastic. Loved it. What topped off the show was HHH's run in to help STeph. Of course, we now know who she was talking to on the phone. I kind of suspected it was HHH.
Also props to JBL and HBK. Great segment too. Loved seeing HBK FINALLY being himself again and poking JBL. That was great. Now, next week , they will have a match deciding the booby prize: Jobbing to the Undertaker in Houston. LOL
From this show, it APPEARS (plans change of course) that the following matches will be taking place at Mania 25:
Edge vs Cena for the WHC. HHH vs Orton for the WWE title, and Taker vs most likely, HBK (this match has been proposed for awhile).
Sounds good so far. Again, great Raw and kudos to everyone on the show.

Thumbs Up. What a shocking PPV to say the least.
Best Match: Too tough to call between the two Chamber Matches, but I will pick the RAW Chamber match.
Worst Match: I hate to say this about my all time favorite wrestler, but I got to give it to the JBL/HBK match.
I will start with the two EC matches. What a shocking turn of events. Edge gets eliminated right off the bat and loses his belt. HHH wins ultimately but I am happy. This was a pretty well worked match. Congrats to Hunter for his 13th title. However, I was quite puzzled why Edge was eliminated so soon. The skit between he and Vickie kind of telegraphed things and, of course, my favoirte heel had to be more involved in the PPV. Well, his participation in the Raw Chamber match made some sense as to why he was gone so early.
However the best match was the Raw Elimination Chamber match. Great work by just about everyone, but in particular the kudos go to Rey, Jericho and the eventual NEW World Heavyweight Champion Edge. Great work by these three in particular and I loved the work between Edge and Rey. Great job. Congrats to Edge for his 8th World Title. I guess we'll have to see what is in store tomorrow on Raw and on the Smackdown tapings.
Worst Match was JBL vs HBK. I just found the match to be quite boring, and I hate saying that about HBK who is my all time favorite wrestler. The best part of the match was when Shawn's wife punched JBL and the last couple of minutes. Just didn't like the match at all. I am glad HBK won and thank goodness this angle is OVER. Hated it.
The Orton/Shane street fight was actually good, IMO. Shane did a decent job and I am glad Orton won. Enough of the McMahons though.
The ECW Title match was fine. Nothing spectacular. Both Finlay and Swagger did a fairly decent job.
Overall, I enjoyed the PPV and it was very unpredictable and shocking. I do wonder what the implications for Mania will be, of course. I recommend the DVD when it comes out and the replay.
Terri Bey
That is me with the now EIGHT TIME World Champ. :) Congratulations again!

Well, it is PPV day again. Time for predictions. Personally, on paper it looks ok. I guess we will see what kind of show we will get. I am perturbed that Smackdown only has one match though. Maybe they will add something at the last second, but I doubt it. Here goes:
ECW Title match: Jack Swagger vs Finlay. I am not that enthralled with this match. I hardly watch ECW. With Christian added to ECW, I just think it is possible he could run in. I don't see Finlay winning this.
WINNER: Swagger
JBL vs HBK Winner take all. If JBL wins he owns HBK for LIFE and if HBK wins, JBL pays him everything and lets him go: What a dumb storyline. Just stupid. JBL and HBK are trying to make this work though. I could see either of them winning. Would be interesting to see JBL bossing HBK around and making HBK's name into a brand or whatever he said. Could make him face the Undertaker at Mania. It could be good if JBL wins if they do this right. Anyway, I hope that doesn't happen. HBK's wife could interfere and cost JBL the match. Should be a halfway decent match. However,
WINNER: the Heartbreak Kid pulls this out wit the win.
Randy Orton vs Shane McMahon street fight: Well, I have already talked about how I hate the McMahons getting in the forefront of the show. Orton should be pushed as the next mega star. I do think Shane is jobbing as he was left standing at Raw though.
PREDICTION: Randy Orton
EC Match for the World Title: Even though the winner is obvious, this should be somewhat interesting. Nice to see Rey, Kingston, and Knox in the Chamber. Nice to see different people in the Chamber here. However, you all know what is coming next in my predictions:
PREDICTION: Oh, I don't know.......LOL John Cena will retain his title. No doubt about it. Jericho may have a shot, but it is definitely Cena winning this puppy.
EC Match for the WWE Championship Title: Man, this is way too close to call. I can not pick a winner here to be honest. The only one that I have, well, eliminated (pun intended) from winning the match is Koslov. Gosh, they LOVE Koslov, don't they? LOL This should be a good to awesome match considering everyone else who is in the match to cover up Koslov's weaknesses. I would be shocked if this was NOT a good match. Big Show is not HBK but I think he can contribute to the match and help make it good. Anyway, the other five guys in the ring are the ones with a pretty good chance to win the belt. I guess that is why Smackdown only has one match with all these guys in the match. Anyway, I am really going back and forth on this match. Edge to my dismay stood tall at the end and that usually means WWE booking wise, he will unfortunately drop his belt AGAIN. :( Lot of people like Show. I hope not. Just would not be an enticing WM match. Ok, enough hemming and hawing here and I will just pick a name out of the proverbial hat and just say the following:
PREDICTION: I can not see Jeff getting it back. He has barely been on Smackdown selling his injuries, etc. I will just go with Edge retaining because I really, honestly can not call this so I think Edge will retain. If he drops it to anyone, I think it will likely be HHH or the Big Show. Sorry for not being definitive on this match because it could be just about any of them.

Well, here I am again, reviewing Smackdown. A decent show. It was better than the spoilers portrayed. Too many promos but oh well. In SPEAKING of promos. Let's get started with Edge. Very good promo from him whining about a "neck injury" he supposedly suffered at the hands of the Undertaker and blamed that on Big Show. I admit, reading the spoilers which were a bit sketchy at best, I had a COW when he said he was "injured." He wrestled the house shows the past couple of weekends with no apparant problems. I had not heard he was hurt legit, so being a huge fan of his, I had a COW. Turns out, like a couple of people told me, it was an angle (he wrestled in the dark match after, apparantly in his street clothes. Had to sell having the day off. LOL) Well, the way his promo was set up, it screamed ANGLE. God is teaching me not to get so excited. LOL Anyway, good work on the mic by Edge and the Big Show. I do not like 'injury" angles. Hated the Randy Orton "concussion" angle they did. I was not happy they had him say he had a neck injury considering his past with his neck. From watching the Taker/HHH vs Edge/Show match, and the way it ended, I had a sinking feeling they would do an injury angle with Edge. I just don't like these angles because the fans of the wrestlers get concerned that their favorite Superstar is REALLY hurt.
Main Event was very good. Neck Injury my butt!!! Riiiiiiiiight. Yeah, he was too "hurt" to wrestle, but he was "well enough" to spear the Big Show. LOL Got to love Edge. :) He wasn't hurt. LOL Gave me heart failure though. *Bad boy edge* LOL Anyway, they did a good job of hiding Koslov's inadequacies let's say. Good stuff even though I don't get how a run in ends the match in a no contest, but ok. I do see that Edge is standing tall and usually that means he loses at the PPV. I hope not. Good grief, not another short reign AGAIN. Of course he will have his so called "neck injury" as an excuse. LOL Anyway, I hope that Edge will retain.
Jeff promo was cool. He did a good job.
Rest of show was just ok. Tag match was ok. I guess they got to give the Bellas something to do. R Truth had a decent match. Nice to see MVP win even though he got beatdown at the end. Maria/McCool match was just there.
HHH and Taker cut good promos also.
Overall, a better show than I thought it would be from the spoilers.
