The Shame They Bring Their Titles

Wednesday, August 6, 2008, 10:55 AM EST [General]

Hello again.  I read a blog this morning about how this person is pissed about Ted and Cody losing the WWE Tag Team Championships to Cena/Batista on Raw.  I am also very upset about that decision, but I have come to terms with the fact that the writers in the WWE do NOT mind barrying young talent to make a fued a little more fueled.

Let me tell you writers something:  IT DID NOT MAKE THE FUED ANY MORE HEATED WHEN YOU DID GAVE CENA/MICHAELS THE STRAPS LAST YEAR BEFORE WRESTLEMANIA.

What they do is push young talent and give them titles to early just in hopes at giving them cheers on the show quick.  There is no build up anymore.  Look at the list.  Santino Marella, Cody/Ted, Rocky Miavia....I could go on - all people who got a title either on their very first night in the company or within a few months.  Let me say that there is no prestige in having a title anymore.  There are soooo many of them floating around in the WWE universe that it makes it almost imposible to care who is champion week by week.  They use the belts as stepping stones now instead of a banner saying...I am The Man ...I am WWE.  It is depressing after watching the Ric Flair biography and the like...Seeing how hard they used to have to work to gain/ keep a title.  Nowadays, titles are just givin out at nausia to give someone the quick push...Or to heat up a fued.  It is disgraceful to the history of the WWE / World championship.

    Shame on the writers.
