“Faith has won many a race!”……
And that’s exactly what happened at The Great American Bash. I believed, I prepared, I fought, and I came out on top. I’ve always been told to never expect to lose, “see” yourself winning, and never give up. Even when I’m doubted, even when I’m the underdog, I always prepare for victory. It’s preparation and determination that lead us to the path of success. If we constantly let others’ words and/or actions hold us down, then we will eventually let ourselves down. I came in this business from day one with people wanting to hate me (mainly from coming through the Diva Search … and I get that), people wanting to see me fail, people doubting me, people saying I’m undeserving and to that … I say thank you!
I know that may sound crazy, but I thrive on proving people wrong. I love breaking down barriers and winning someone over. Hopefully I did that with at least one person on Sunday. Hopefully I made at least one person believe in me as a champion. Hopefully I made at least one person say, “Hey, Michelle does deserve that!” And if I didn’t, hopefully I will be given the chance to win more hearts soon. This business is not a job to me; it’s my passion. It’s something I believe in, it’s something I love and it’s something that I want to do my best at every single day!
Sunday night was by far the biggest night of my career. I was so extremely nervous all day long I could barely stand it. Wait a minute … I’m lying. I was pretty nervous the day before too! (I think the only people more nervous than me were my parents who were sitting ringside cheering me on!) I knew Natalya was going be a tough opponent, but the battle was even more grueling than I’d imagined. When I won the match and held that championship up, I had goose bumps all over. The feeling is indescribable! It was a roller coaster of emotions … happiness, excitement, shock, tears, and joy!!!!!!!!!!! I know that I have a huge target on my back now and am ready for the challenges that I know are about to come flying at me 100 mph!
I can’t tell you how much all of the kind words, letters of encouragement, posters (Long Island was showing their love … thank you, thank you, thank you!) and congrats mean to me. I hope I make each and every single one of you proud! This is history in the making and I will do everything in my power to make you proud! I know that the importance of winning is not what we get from the win, but what we become because of it! I hope to become the champion that makes you proud!
“Hold yourself responsible to a higher standard than anyone expects of you. Never excuse yourself!”
“When your opponent is bigger, faster, stronger. Train harder, stronger, smarter!”
“Sweat is the lubricant of success!”
To end … remember that there is a hero in every heart! Regardless of where you are on this journey in life, you are not alone. In your own heart, there is a hero reaching out to claim the ultimate prize – the happiness of living a life of satisfaction, a life of purpose – that you pursue (no matter what it may be) with courage and passion!
Thank you again! I love you all! Faith to fight the good fight, heart to believe and soul to search within! Keeping the faith…..
Your Divas Champion (wow … I still get chills just typing it)

Airport thinking.....
Hey guys! So I'm sitting in the airport awaiting my flight to Long Island, NY and I can't wait. I was thinking about how much all of your kind words and encouragement have truly meant to me. Soooooo.....I just thought I'd take a quick second before I left to say thank you - thank you from the bottom of my heart!
It's going to be a hard, fought battle I am sure...... but a battle I have never been so excited to embark upon! Win, lose or draw..history will be made.
Remember it's not about the destination..it's about the journey you took getting there. I have worked, sweat, and bled for this very moment - a chance to call myself a champion! Again, thanks a million. I love you all!!!
Faith to fight the good fight, heart to believe and soul to search within!

"The smile that lights the face will also warm the heart!"
Well, after being on the road for 14 days now, eight being overseas and on a plane for a total (roughly) of 46 hours from the time I left my house until the time I got back tonight, I finally made it home around 9:00 this evening. To say I'm tired is an understatement. However, it's 4:28a.m. (yes, a.m.) and I can't go to sleep. I'm having a case where my internal clock is telling me its 4:00 on Thursday afternoon in Australia. Whoa ... help! I hope this doesn't last the rest of the week while I'm home because I am sleepy!!! Guess I can look on the bright side ... I’ve already got a couple of loads of laundry complete!
1. The Australian tour ... The land Down Under treated us really, really well. It's absolutely beautiful over there. (I think I'm convinced that I could live there.) As I'm sure you know, we did seven shows, seven days in seven different cities. It was a whirlwind, but the shows were AWESOME!!! I had two single matches with Victoria, two single matches with her BFF Natalya and three tag matches (my partner being Kelly Kelly) against the two of them. I am completely bruised and beaten, but put up one heck of a fight every time I stepped into the ring. Those are two "Divas" that I will never get tired of facing!
The fans were crazy! Every show was packed! There is no greater feeling than the adrenaline rush you get, the excitement you feel and the chill bumps you get as soon as your music hits. I don't even know what to say about it. It's a feeling like none other!
To the fans Down Under: Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You cheered for us, you laughed, you booed, you cried and we appreciated every minute of it. Until next time...
2. The Draft ... I've been getting TONS of e-mails asking if I'm changing brands. The answer is simple. I have absolutely no earthly idea! Anyone is game to be traded. I guess I'll find out as soon as you guys do from San Antonio on Monday night. I'm pretty much indifferent now. My dream, my goal is to have the gold around my waist and now that's possible on both Raw and SmackDown. I do feel like I have some unfinished business with a few Divas in particular on Raw (but who's to say they don't get traded to SD), yet General Manager Vickie Guerrero has now created a Divas Championship on SD that I would LOVE to get my hands on ... creating history at the same time. Not much longer for us all to wait ... only four more days, but who's counting, right?!
3. Accomplishment ... "If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done. Be sure to stay busy and plant a variety of crops, for you never know which will grow, perhaps they all will."
I think it's really easy to get discouraged at times and to give up. A lot of you have told me that it's just too hard to reach your goals, every time you feel like you are going somewhere; something happens that holds you back or causes you to quit. Three words ... THIS IS NORMAL!
We all go through periods, yes even us "Superstars," where we feel like all our hard work is going nowhere, where we feel like we have given all we can possibly give, where we want something so bad that it's frustrating when we can't quite get our hands on it, when we try something or give ideas only to have them shot down, where we just feel like giving up. Don't give up (and believe me I've had to look in a mirror and tell myself the same thing on occasion)!!!! That's why I love the above quote. Nothing ... not the place, not the time, not the people and not the conditions will EVER be perfect. That's when you have to not get lazy and give up. That's when you have to dig even deeper and work even harder to get whatever it is you want. I promise, your perseverance will pay off ... you might just have to have patience to see it happen. It will happen when the timing is right. Don't give up! No dream is ever too big!
It's 5:06 a.m. now, and I'm going to try to go to sleep again! Hope all is well with each of you. Remember faith to fight the good fight, heart to believe and soul to search within - it will get you wherever you want to go. Dream big!

Michelle
