Alright so as we know it the women's division of the WWE is certainly NOT lacking, what is lacking is the exposure of most of the talented female wrestlers. I think that if you have paid attention to my forum posts you know my hate for Candice Michelle and this blog will be no different. On Raw we have women like Candice Michelle and Kelly Kelly beating amazing talents like Beth Phoenix and Jillian Hall...EVERY WEEK. What is wrong with this picture. Oh yes, the talent level. I will not disagree with Kelly fans out there and say that Kelly isn't improving because she definitely is but she is by NO MEANS anywhere close to having the amount of talent that women like Jillian and Beth have, not to mention her size compared to them is nothing.

Now Candice, I can't say that I have ever hated her this much. I mean before she left she was never as bad as she is right now, so why is it that WWE insists on spoon feeding her to us and making us believe that she is better than she is. I mean sure they can edit a pre-recorded show to make it look like she doesn't botch EVERY move but we aren't that dumb are we? Claim it is "ring rust" or whatever you feel you need to call it but I call it plain and simple bad wrestling.

I have never respected Kelly or Candice and I'll tell you why, there are two reasons. A: They got into this business because they were asked to, NOT because they were extreme wrestling watchers not because they grew up watching the sport and wanted to be just like the girls. They got into the WWE because they were models. B: They both sell their bodies all the time, Kelly started out not as a wrestler, but as a dancer on ECW doing nothing but striping her clothes off, she has gotten WAY better about it don't get me wrong...but still how can I respect someone like that? As for Candice, well this is obvious HBO and Playboy...think about it. This woman is just about taking her clothes off, once again perhaps she has gotten better, I mean that WAS awhile ago but it is SO hard for me to even want to respect someone that gets into this business because of those things.

I was very angry to see Candice get a title reign in the first place might I add, perhaps it was because she was beating Melina who is my favorite. I hope for all our sakes that Candice doesn't get another title reign, and if she does I hope that Melina comes back and takes it from her, but we all know creative isn't that smart.

As for Smackdown...well what can I say, they passed up giving Natalya a title and Jillian a push to the Diva's championship. The passed up TWO great divas for what? Oh right diva search one and diva search two....great. Now don't get me wrong here I have MAD love for Maryse and her character is great, not to mention she is getting better in the ring as well, however giving her a shot at the title what is it now..three time when they could have had a great feud between McCool and Jillian? It just doesn't make sense. As for McCool winning the title in the first place, well I can't say I agreed with it. Hell I can't say half the McCool fans really agreed with it, they might have been happy but they know just as well as anyone else that Natalya is the better wrestler. I can't however say I know why McCool gets bashed on so much, it isn't that she is a horrible wrestler because she definitely isn't a bad wrestler by any means it's the fact that she is boring that makes me want to not like her. She doesn't do anything to really impress me in the ring, she doesn't say anything out of the ring that makes me want to like her, she's got nothing. Honestly I would rather see Maryse with that championship, but if they did that I'm sure more people would be angry.

Then there is the thought of wasting talent, Raw wastes Katie and Jillian Smackdown wastes Victoria and Natalya. The only heel doing well is Maryse on Smackdown and on Raw Beth isn't doing well half the time. Victoria is one of the best, if not the best diva that the WWE has on their roster but she is jobbing to nobodies like the Bella twins...wait diva search again? Now how I see if Victoria in real life is that type of person, she is the type of person that will allow herself to be used in the wrong way because she wants to see the new talent make a name for themselves like she did, but honestly no one deserves to be on top like she does right now. People love her even if they hate her.

Another diva that smackdown pushes is Maria, another I don't really understand, she isn't strong on any of her moves and she's sloppy. I love the girl though honestly. She's like my guilty pleasure because she does have that charisma and that ring personality that a face should have, she just needs to work on getting stronger with her moves.

What else....oh yes the comparison between TNA and WWE's women's division. A clear winner, TNA. They use their women right, valets are valets interviewers are interviewers and wrestlers are wrestlers. None of their wrestlers were brought in on the simple fact that they were willing to make their breast bigger and pose nude. Sure Christy Hemme had that down, but that was thanks to WWE. Hemme is probably their weakest competitor too if you ask me, and why? Oh right because she was in diva search the underlying cause to the death of the WWE women's division. The difference though between Hemme and most of the other diva searchers, personality once again. Not to mention she doesn't do all that horribly in the ring. Her moves might be limited but she knows how to make them look good and strong.

The women of TNA are tough and they compete in Main Events, and cage/ladder matches. They go up against guys instead of scurrying into the corner. They AREN'T damsels in distress they are true fighters. People that worked their **** off to get to where they which is why I will and do respect each and every woman in TNA more than most of the WWE "divas". Not only are they better, but TNA gives their knockouts more storylines than just "they have a feud". They put more behind it and they have substance. The last good diva storyline would probably be Mickie and Trish and then of course the on going feud between trish and lita but the other is more recent. TNA always has stuff going for their girls and they are always pushing them never making one lose every single week. Not to mention it ISN'T the same damn match every single week. It's like WWE sets up a divas tag match for every damn show.

It's always Jillian and Beth or Beth and Katie vs Kelly Kelly and Candice or Mickie and Candice. It gets boring. None of the matches are good either because all the heel divas are the good ones, besides of course Mickie (who started in TNA). If people want REAL matches we should be seeing Beth vs Jillian or Victoria vs Natalya. Then we would have good matches like we used to see when Victoria and Molly feuded or when Jazz was around. We wouldn't have these models walking around as straight carbon copies of each other, they all look the same and they all have the same damn move set and it's boring. I guess what WWE wants, WWE gets and us fans are left having to deal with it, and if you're like me rant about it.
