As we found out tonight Mickie James and Michelle McCool will captain teams for Survivor Series. Teams have yet to be announced. It's a safe bet that Layla "Scary Spice" El will be on Michelle's team.
In Jim Ross's 11/04/09 blog on jrbbq.com. He talks about a "whack job" that keeps emailig him to hook him up with Mickie. He says this person wonders why Mickie hasn't responded. I agree with JR when he says maybe the person scares the hell out of Mickie. Like a lot of you, I do think Mickie is attractive. However, I know that coming across as an obsessed fan is not the way to go. maybe the person will get the hint. If not I have 2 words .....restraining order.
According to allaccess.com, Mickie has signed with Skyline Management Group out of Nashville Tenn. to pursue a career in country music. Her agents are Sherry and James Massaro who specialize in developing new talent. Mickie has also reportedly signed with Absolute Publicity to handle her public relations.
Some may believe that this means Mickie is retiring. Yes, she will retire but not right away. I believe that this will be the next stage for Mickie. I wish her much success. I may even buy the cd (even though I'm not a huge country music fan).
There has been some speculation that Mickie's move to Smackdown is punishment of some sort. Some say that it's because she's "fat". Some say it's because of that botched match she had with Gail Kim and her reaction. I don't see Mickie's draft to Smackdown as punishment.
Let's be honest. The only credible threat to Michelle McCool's title was Melina. Layla, Eve, and Maria were not ready. Natalya is in a program with the Hart Dynasty and isn't wrestling in singles competition at the moment. Now with Mickie and Beth coming in, there are 2 major threats to Michelle's reign. They might even have Natalya in competition. The Diva division on Smackdown is now a lot stronger. I believe the strongest competitors should be on the brand with the WWE Women's Championship. WWE now has that.
That's my take on the draft. I'm sure you all will continue to support Mickie on her new home.
In what has to be called an upset, Mickie James lost her title to Jillian Hall. Of course Jillian having her feet on the rope helped. It was at this point that Nancy O'Dell announced the Diva draft.
From now on, Mickie James is now a member of Smackdown. I realize that this is upsetting to some of you. In the end, it benefits Mickie and the WWE Women's Championship. With Mickie, Beth Phoenix and Natalya on the same brand, the quality of contenders for the belt has gotten much better. I would be nervous if I was Michelle McCool.

It was announced tonight that Alicia Fox will be challenging Mickie James this Sunday at Hell in a Cell for the Divas Championship. Let's all cheer for Mickie to retain her belt!
