So I finally got the New Hardyz DVD, I must say I'm in love with it
I myself collect wrestling DVDs, I own over 50, here's some of them.....

yes, I'm a big fan.
anyways, I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this DVD, I've been a fan of The Hardyz since I was 11 years old, 8 years now I've followed their careers(mostly Jeff's, not gonna lie), and I own their first DVD.....ah yea how many of you Hardy fans can say that? ;D

Leap Of Faith, it's a good one, nice extras, nice story, lotsa home footage, I nearly melted this disc with how much I watched it
it came out years ago, I don't believe wwe shop sells it anymore, but I remember the day it came out I made my dad take me everywhere to find it, NO ONE HAD IT, we went to like 5 stores trying to find it, I think I was like 12? 13? maybe and I was devestated of course hah, but we went to SunCoast and they didn't have it, we asked they had no idea what I was talking about so I was ready to leave when out of the corner of my eye I saw it, one copy thats all they had, go figure, I grabbed it and seriously jumped up screaming hah
unlike other girls at that age freaking out over boy bands........I was into wrestlers! haha, you know how girls would put pictures of boy bands in their pencil boxes and binders? if you opened my pencil box you'd find a bunch of pictures of The Hardyz hah, and for the longest time I had this WWF(back in those days) cover of them on my binder, it was a red/yellow cover with them back to back doing The Hardyz hand gun and it said "Dream Team" I still have it.
this was the first wrestling related DVD I ever bought, I watched it no doubt 100 times the first month I got it.
I know I was a fangirl, but hey...I was basically a kid still too hah. A complete mark actually I was never much impressed by other wrestlers, what I cared about really was The Hardyz vs E&C, those to this day were some of the best matches I have ever seen, the feud was classic, and kept me on my toes. WWE has yet been able to create a feud within the tag team division as good as the one they had.
no need mentioning The Dudleys, all they did really was add in the tables, aside from that they were useless to the feud. I was such a mark though I remember watching and HATING Edge & Christian just because they ALWAYS won! and it drove me nuts, I actually recall this Unforgiven steel cage match between The Hardyz and E&C, The Hardyz won and it was like, so emotional to FINALLY see that? hahaha cause E&C would always come out on top some how.
It wasn't like now, with the good guy....Cena....over coming the odds time after time
no, E&C would beat the guys guys, The Hardyz, yes usually cheating but it took nothing away from how brutal and intense they fought.
I want to hate Edge & Christian but it was literally impossible too, they were hilarious amirite!?!? and they were so talented, I always felt the hardy and E&C had such good chemistry when it came to wrestling, they had the best matches really, I relate alot of those matches now to my childhood hah, and they make me mark out everytime.
I remember so many things from those days, I remember when Jeff & Matt fought each other I cried! hahaha I sooo was not ready for them to split ugh AND THEN FEUD WITH EACH OTHER? it was awkward
I remember once, Jeff? fought the Big Show and when he covered him, Matt landed on Jeff and then Lita ontop of Matt haha to weigh him down more
I remember crying my eyes out when Jeff fought Taker in the ladder match, that was the first match that ever made me that emotional, even now it still can make me watery eyed hah, I mean to be Jeff was always "made" but if you couldn't have some shred of respect for him after that, well then you never will, he put his heart into that match, so much emotion was in that ring it was intense.
I obviously have a favorite Hardy, yes, Jeff if you didn't pick up on that.
I wouldn't say Matt is under-rated, Matt lacks alot of stuff that a main event guy has, AS DOES JEFF.
Their mic skills are really painful, Matt's are way better then Jeff's but nowhere near being "good". Look wise, I don't look at either of them and think "wwe champion". You know I look at them and think more like "mid carder that can be in the main event to make this guy look good"
I don't know what it will take to make them true main eventers really, Jeff almost had it and I was even starting to play with the idea of him being WWE Champ in my mind, then he went and ****ed it up, might take another 2 years for that to happen, unless wwe is very forgiving.
I think Matt WANTS it so bad though, it's kind of wonky, the brother that doesn't seem to care much gets it easier and the one that cares and puts all of himself into it works harder for it, thats life huh?
so is Matt Hardy under rated? no, he's working at his speed in my opinion, he has had some great matches and feuds, he's also had some bad ones, and bad gimmicks, I was never a fan of the whole MF'r thing hahaha, ugh if anything that was the time I was MOST annoyed by Matt Hardy
and despite how personal the Matt/Lita/Edge, it showed that Matt Hardy STILL has it, he can STILL prove time and time again that he deserves to be where he is, and maybe deserves even more.
it would be politically correct for Matt to win the big belt before Jeff, it'd be awesome to see Matt as champ on smackdown, and Jeff as champ on RAW.
It'd be wicked awesome for one of them, preferably Matt to be world heavyweight/wwe champ and then for the other, preferably Jeff to turn heel and become the jealous Hardy Boy now wanting to take his brothers belt off of him.
For the most part Jeff hardy has been a baby face throughout all of his WWE career, I don't hate it, I don't love it, he was floating in the tweener stage for a little but it rubbed me the wrong way. Jeff has no voice, without a voice he can't be a convincing "bad guy" and he's so fragile & gentle looking it's hard to look at him and think "jerk", he doesn't have that.
I am very impressed by both of them and what they have done in their careers. They've really put their bodies through hell, Jeff has been very fortunate I don't know who else could do what he does and come out alive even.
I say if you are going to hate on a wrestler, leave his personal life out of it, what does it really concern you?
when that wrestler sees you in the crowd or hanging around the arena they see "fan" they don't see your personal life, how many sins you commit, same goes for you, you see "wrestler" when you watch them, until you decide to go online and read a bunch of rumors, as if these people are really famous, someone thats never watched wrestling at the most knows the bigger names, The Rock, Cena, Stone Cold, Triple H, Undertaker, aside from that they have no idea who these people are, nor do they care
but wrestling fans hafta one up each other constantly, by hating on someone else? I mean really? it all comes down too "well my favorite wrestler is better then yours, and you like Jeff Hardy he's a drug addict, blah blah blah"
I don't CARE, to me Jeff Hardy is that guy that comes out on RAW in some neon lights and humps the air and then runs down to the ring with his hair constantly changing color, does some crazy spots and hits a swanton, also gets his ass kicked REALLY good, he makes it look so believably painful.
as a fan of his he is also so much more then that, but just because you don't like him, you have to bring up things he has chosen to do in his personal life.
You know I was/am a Benoit fan, he was a great wrestler, the main event from WM20 is probably one of the best and most emotional wrestlemania events ever. I know what he did, but I cried the day I found out he was gone, I never questioned whether I liked the "wrestler" and I never knew the "man" so really what could I say besides rest in piece?
I forgive him for doing what he did, what I can't forgive is doing what he did and then taking away everything, no longer will he be talked about in wwe
so when people talk about a match involving him now he is left out. Say one of my favorite matches Randy Orton vs Benoit for the WHC championship, yup, now it will be "oh randy faced someone and became the youngest champ ever!"
well not to me, cause Benoit really helped out Orton over, and I respect that being that Orton IS my favorite wrestler and that match is special to me.
So Jeff hardy using drugs does not bother me one bit, as it shouldn't, I am just a fan.
The reason Jeff gets noticed more then Matt isn't because of the way he looks and the crazy **** he pulls off, it's just that he is fascinating, he really has a presence that make you WANT to watch him. I think Edge says it best when he says he would like to just open Jeff's mind and take a walk around in it, I would love to also, see what he sees through his eyes, don't we all see the world differently? I bet he's seen alot. I think he is truly one of a kind and thats what makes you interested. There is only ONE Jeff Hardy and there will forever only be ONE, constantly replicated, NEVER duplicated.
So do I recommend this DVD? yes I do, I actually want EVERYONE to go buy it. I really think if you got to know The Hardys and saw how much they loved this as kids and aspired to be wrestlers you might respect them even if you are not a fan. They had a dream and they made it happen, how many people actually do that? not many at all. I'm a firm believer in dreaming, but I'm also a firm believer in making your dreams a reality so I love stories like theres, they worked hard and kept doing it, and they still are, thats amazing.
Matt's disc almost made me cry really. I think Matt is more out spoken about his feelings and more of the open book, which may be the reason everyone thinks he "cares" more. Jeff has always been a mystery to me over the years and thats because he is so damn quiet and just doesn't give me enough information to MAKE an opinion on him really so I'm always trying to find out more but he's not easy to read at all hah. Matt seems to love and welcome the attention, Jeff just acknowledges it and moves on, so different they are from each other really.
Matt's disc taught me a lot I didn't know, it was sad to see all the clips of him with Lita, and hear him talk about picturing his life with her and marriage, I felt for him right then, but I know there is two sides to every story. If I wasn't a fan of Edge's I'd probably side with Hardy right away. Edge really isn't a bad guy even if he portrays one, I love Edge/Adam, he's so talented and simply **** out of luck, I recommend his book if you're into reading, I read it in 2 days it was THAT interesting and really made me love/respect the guy. This book was written pre-the love triangle, but I expect he will write another one someday, and I will defiantly read, two sides to every story, remember.
Either way, good or bad, Edge & Matt had beautiful matches. It helped Edge's career more then Matt's and WWE completely exploited the 3 of them but it show cased both of them very well. I don't know if I can ever see Edge turning face again though, not after all that and now with Vickie, nope.
So surprisingly I enjoyed Matt's disc, I liked his feud with MVP it was entertaining and they had great matches. Matt is more bland though, as a person, truly, as a wrestler, he is entertaining to watch but he has alot to work on.
Jeff's disc was interesting, I was in awe from the second I pressed play. I could go on and on for days on Jeffs PHYSICAL beauty alone, the man could be a model really, how many guys THAT pretty do you see wrestling? I don't see any aside from Jeff.
There's just so much more to him though that makes him so interesting, it's not his arts, it's not his hobbies, or his music(ps- Jeff please stop singing), it's just something about him-that mystery.
I've always enjoyed Jeff "the wrestler" cause even though he has no voice & when he does try to I cringe, he always keeps me entertained, ALWAYS. Sometimes I'm watching wrestling and my eyes will drift away from the tv screen because who ever is on is boring me, but when I hear Jeff's music I'm back to being focused on the TV set, he has that factor thats rare in wrestling where people come to see him and are excited to.
Neither Matt or Jeff are the "best" wrestlers, nope, not at all. Their not even my favorites, I could name a few other wrestlers I enjoy much more then both of them, but they haven't lost my love for the past 8 years so there is SOMETHING about them.
You can tell just by watching them they have tried so hard to get there and maybe thats it, maybe thats why I watch because I know they have and I wanna see them succeed, who knows.
I suggest getting it if you wanna learn more about them, they are very humble people, yes PEOPLE, humans, like us, and very strong. I bought their book but I only got half way through it, basically everything in the book is covered in the DVDs so which ever you prefer.
If you read all this then cool! haha, I order every PPV so yea I'm excited for Judgement Day tomorrow, even though Randy is losing, more then likely, nice time to decide to have a kid Orton! but yea.
also I don't respond to messages saying "whats up" or "talk to me" so give it up.
